Beautiful and elegant structure, in true English style! The staff is very friendly, professional and guests feel at home, I was very comfortable during my stay and I thank everyone for the services I received, well beyond expectations. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed was wonderful, it felt like sleeping on a cloud! I also enjoyed the breakfast and dinner service, quality of the food was excellent, and very tasty! I would recommend this establishment to everyone, the proximity to Silverstone and the atmosphere of the English countryside are plus points! Thank you all, and see you soon!

I loved the fact that the hotel was in such a beautiful location and that the old coach house where I stayed had so much character. The room was very comfortable and decorated to a very high standard. I only ate breakfast here but found this very tasty and the restaurant again very comfortable. I certainly would have liked to have eaten dinner here and having visited once will certainly try to make a return visit.

I only had one minor complaint in that I found the shower door in my room clashed with the bathroom door. This was only a minor inconvenience and really was outweighed by the rest of the facilities.

A few old cobwebs in parts of the room Room next to the water heater is not good if you are noise sensitive as it makes an intermittent humming sound which you can hear through the walls Temperature varies from room to room, some too hot, some too cold and some just right. You can control via the radiator My shower temperature changed randomly so be careful

Check-in was smooth, we had been upgraded to a larger room (larger bed) and that was most welcome, thank you. The bedroom was beautifully appointed and very clean. All public areas such as the bar, toilets, and the hotel corridors were smartly decorated, with comfortable chairs, a large assortment of framed pictures, antique-style mirrors, really nice carpet underfoot, and a history of the house and area. Although busy preparing for a wedding, the hotel was quiet at night. We slept really well in the comfortable bed. The shower had superb pressure, and the bathroom was just the right amount of spacious. Breakfast next morning was varied, tasty and filling, at smartly laid tables with tablecloths, and check-out was also smooth and easy. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Such minor details of what wasn't quite right: there was a bit of a bottleneck at the coffee machine at breakfast. Perhaps that could be relocated to a different area of the restaurant? And the shower screen didn't hold the water in the bath very well, so a bit of the floor got rather wet. But these are very much first world problems. Everything was really pretty good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were lovely. The food was nice. We were constantly greeted with a smile and eagerness to help when needed We would stay here again.

Sadly, the cleanliness aspect needs improving. On arrival, one of our rooms hadn't been cleaned properly. Basic things like dust on surfaces and beds not being changed or made properly. Bed socks were still under the covers...quilt just thrown on top the bed..it hadn't been stripped and re-made. If they improve on the cleanliness aspect...it would improve the quality of the customer's experience.

Located in a lovely quiet village, next to a church, with eye catching drive and scenery to this impressive hotel. I was sceptical as I had read mixed reviews about this hotel on arrival, but i was very pleasantly surprised. All the staff were very friendly and the decor and rooms were spotlessly clean. Plenty of car parking spaces and views across open field filled with cows. We had a superior king size room with a bath which was lovely and modern in decor and a great size. Tv was large and had all the channels and a fridge and tea making facilities were all on hand. We didn't have the breakfast but im sure it would of been nice. We did use the hotel bar but was a bit pricey, compared to the village pub down the road or the canal pub/restaurant but that would be the same wherever you go. We did enjoy the new seating in the garden of an evening, all lit up. This hotel is good value for money and I would highly recommend it.

Its not a negative point of view, but there isn't a lot to do near the hotel unless you want to go for walks or use the hotel for a base and drive. There's a pub on the doorstep, just a 3 minute walk called Ye Olde Swan with serves lovely food if you don't want to use the hotels restaurant or facilities. We chose to walk a 15 minute stroll on the village green, to the pub/restaurant by the canal which is great value for money. There's also a takeaway away Chinese around the marina if you want to take food back to the hotel. This hotel is great if you want a hotel as a base or a quiet break, but is no good if you want night life or more things to do.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay! The rooms are lovely! The bathrooms are lovely, staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food is exceptional! I had a single room expecting a single bed but the bed was more like a small double! Really clean and had a little history to it as well which I loved.

I had an issue with the hot water in my room. In that there wasn’t any, otherwise I would have scored this a 10! It will be fixed for the next guests but it couldn’t be helped as there was no one to fix it at the time of my stay.

I booked a Superior Double and was upgraded to a suite which had a Rolltop bath and separate shower room and sitting room .. the bed was really comfy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and my meal in the hotel restaurant was simple but good.. All in all I can't fault the hotel, the service and facilities are great for the money.

The hotel is slightly shabby in certain areas, but it's an old property and to be honest for the cost of the room, the service received from staff and facilities in the room this can easily be over looked...

Great place, lovely décor and ample parking. Checked in very late due to mishap with a hotel we had already booked and they were only too willing to help in any way they could. Surrounding area very lovely for walks and countryside. Bedroom - wow just wow...comfortable bed, comfortable sofa bed, ample space, shower was amazing and lovely toiletries. Breakfast - yum and so much choice. nothing was cold.

Bar closed too early...11pm haha breakfast a bit pricey and charge an extra £4 if you don't book the night before.

Superb overnight stay. I only wanted somewhere to stop for a cheap (Sunday) night off the M1 and to head off for work meeting early next morning. Was really pleasantly surprised. Arrived late and greeted by very welcoming staff who helped with bags to room. I only had the single room but was most cosy and luxurious. Comfy bed, crisp white linen and oodles of hot water in the huge shower. Next morning different staff greeted cheerfully went above and beyond carrying bags to my car. Really reasonable room rate - have already booked in again
