5 minutes walk from the airport, but also seems well insulated, since we couldn't hear noise from the planes coming in or taking off. There is a free shuttle in July and August taking you to Legoland, Lalandia etc. They have a kids room with plenty of board games. They have decent food, I think, and you can order by scanning a QR code. I also liked that they have bikes to rent. The room was OK. Also liked that check-in starts at 14 (other options were starting at 15 or 16, very late when you woke up at 3 for your flight). The shuttle bus stops right next to the hotel.

If you plan on walking around Billund, it's not the best location. It's about 30 minutes walking to Legoland (and Lalandia), and another 20-30 to Lego House. They do have a bike / walking path all the way, though. Also, note the free shuttle bus starts at 9, so if your plane arrives early (ours did), you either need to take a local bus, or walk (like we did). Or rent a bike. On the other hand, if your hotel is in town, you'd have to carry your luggage with you. The children beds can feel a bit short for taller kids (I would say above 1m50).

*It was close to the airport. *It was clean. *Luggage can be stored in a room before & after check-in / check out *Staff were friendly enough.. some seemed rude but could have been the language barrier.. but unsure which 😆 *Hairdryer was supplied *Hand wash ..shower gell..shampoo was also available to use. *I asked for extra pillows.. i received them with no problem *I asked about gluten-free bread at breakfast & 1 of the staff made me some fresh. If you have any allergies, inform staff. They dont have it out. *Breakfasts was around £22 pp extra Not the best breakfast for the money, but it was adequate. * Considering it's practically on the runway, you couldn't hear anything

*Room was very small for 4 adults. Would suit a family with young children. But we managed. *If you purchased anything extra, like drinks .. food or snacks, it was expensive. * The lift was extremely slow..

-Great location near the main Billund Airport terminal (5 mins to the Terminal by foot) which is also bus terminal and offers many directions (from 5 min connection bus to Legoland or Billund center to regular buses to i.e. Vejle) -Also walking distance to Legoland (but no direct sidewalk, hence I recommend taking a bus) -Breakfasts (185 DKK per person) was fresh, tasty, and clearly prepared with care. Although the selection was relatively simple, everything that was offered was of high quality and very satisfying. (Many plant based options, fresh fruits, danish butter and bread spreads) -Lovely staff, as well on the front desk as during breakfast, helpful and polite -Option of contactless check-in and check-out -Restaurant working 24/7 which was huge plus

The location and free shuttle bus around the city plus accessibility. Price is also reasonable for families than staying in an expensive legoland hotels. Starbucks coffee with pastries, they also have some mini market to buy chips, biscuits, sunblock, candies, shampoo, etc so this is a plus, they also have a resturant at reasonable price. Comfortable hotel rooms, small but you got all you need for a good stay. kids also love watching the planes take off while playing football.

the staffs are a bit rude, asking questions seems not welcome. Also disappointed with the long waiting time for food in the restaurant other than that all is good.

Ideal location for early flights, just a 4-minute walk to the airport, yet surprisingly quiet inside the hotel. Dining options are limited but well-executed. Breakfast has nice selection (especially the excellent pastry) and good vibes. The gym is small but sufficient, and in good weather, there’s a pleasant running route to Legoland.

the lack of complimentary water or hot drinks is surprising. There are no water fountains in public areas or the gym, and only pricey bottled water is available. Similarly, there’s no kettle in the room and no free coffee stands—hot drinks are only available for purchase. This feels out of step with the level of hospitality I’ve experienced in many other European countries.

Location is perfect! Only a few minutes walk to the airport terminal. The same distance as the airport parking lot, aka could not be closer! Clean, comfortable, quiet. Has a small restaurant, bar, and hangout area so you can grab a drink or bite before getting some sleep before your flight. You can also play Legos! (Billund is the home of the Lego company). Friendly staff. Rooms are small but you're only going to sleep there so it's perfect. Lots of bunk bed options to have a whole family stay in one room inexpensively. Everything you want in an airport hotel. Pro tip - there are no USB ports so make sure you have a box to plug in your USB cords. And if you're from the USA, make sure you have a converter to be able to plug into the European electrical outlets.

I booked the room to take a 6am flight and avoid having to wake up very early and then drive early in the morning. The additional benefit was that I could drop off the rental car early and without having to rush. The room was simple but met all my needs.

The walk from hotel to airport terminal is not covered, so in bad weather (not unusual in Billund) you are bound to get wet. The only improvement which I would like to see is that the room TV supports Chromecast. It was a smart TV but did not support that.

Very good for staying with kids. Lego blocks, colouring pages when dining. Nice breakfast. Location is perfect when you have an early flight back, there is 2 min walk to aeroport. I've read some complaints about floating bathroom and was a bit scared about it, but our was ok. Room not too big, but it was enough for 2 of us. Friendly staff. Nice area outside the hotel. We loved watching planes landing and leaving. There are only 1-2 bus stops to Legoland or Lego house. Just on Sunday we waited a lot for the bus when coming back to the hotel, but it wasn't a big problem.

There is some noise from planes, but you can buy earplugs in the hotel. During the night it didn't disturb us at all. But I guess when it is hot, noise can be a problem, cause with open window there would be too loud and there is no conditioning in the rooms.

No noise from the planes, clean & well kept room. We did see there was a shuttle bus but it was a 5min walk at most but handy if you have a lot of luggage. Staff dealt with a room issue very quickly and every member of staff were very pleasant and friendly. We had a pizza, which was really nice. Food is available 24-7 so no worries if landing late/ early and we saw there is an option of having breakfast a lot earlier than normal hotels (3/4am I think).

We called to check we had booked a room with a full sized 2nd bed & was told yes it would be. On arrival, it was a much smaller fold down bed for smaller children & my tall 11yr old wouldn't fit. It was dealt with quickly but after a long day travelling, it was inconvenient.

I usually don't stay in airport hotels because they make me feel like I'm on the move, but this time we didn't really have a choice and i was positively surprised. The hotel felt almost homely, it's kind of just the right size and you could tell Legoland is not far away because the hotel was truly considering children with the bunk beds and the Legos on the table and even some pens and paper for drawing. The food was a small menu but exactly what you need. The staff was super nice. And the location great. I would definitely stay again and I don't say that often.

It's a minor thing but I had asked for the bottom bed and not the bunk bed because my daughter is only 2 and can't sleep up there, but we easily changed the bed around ourselves and moved the bedding down to the futon so it wasn't a problem.
