Location was perfect for us, just outside Billund so we could relax in the evenings away from the busy legoland attractions. Being able to use bikes made it very affordable and they were ready on arrival with locks. The welcome was brilliant, Erik is lovely and super helpful. The property was clean and had everything you needed including washing up liquid, toilet rolls and handwash which were super helpful. The beds were really comfy. The views from the room and terrace are super and very relaxing. The play area and trampoline were perfect for the kids to make friends at night and have some time to relax.

Nothing specifically about the property although there is a constant smell of burning wood as that’s the fuel they use to heat the water and not being used to it it was quite strong for us. There are also a lot of flies around although a fly swatted is provided but they did get quite tiresome. Both things the owners can do nothing about and it didn’t detract from our stay at all.

The property is in a beautiful location and very convenient for all that Billund has to offer. It’s a couple of miles from Billund town centre but in some lovely countryside which was excellent and very peaceful. We hired a car which was a great thing to do which helped us get around with ease. The hosts are amazing! Such lovely rooms with everything you need and nothing is too much trouble. They are more than happy to help with anything and offered great advice on what to do and see. Can’t recommend the accommodation highly enough, and the hosts.

We wanted to spend a few days exploring the Lego attractions of Billund, but as an adult couple with no children in tow we didn't like the look of any of the themed hotels in the town. Gregersminde was perfect - a peaceful and relaxing property set in woodland just outside the town. We stayed in the Cottage accommodation, which is a small cabin with double bedroom, twin bunk room, living room with kitchenette and private bathroom. The kitchen has two electric rings and a microwave, as well as ample pots, utensils and a frying pan. I would recommend the Coop in Billund for food, beer and wine, and the Billund Bakery for fresh bread and breakfast treats. The centre of Billund is eminently walkable from Gregersminde, but the owners will rent bicycles at a very reasonable rate. After walking the return trip once we rented bikes for the rest of our stay. Like much of that part of Europe the town is made for cycling with lanes everywhere and plenty of bike parking, including right outside both Legoland and the Lego House.

Excellent location, quite and not far from Billund. Even if you are without car you can get to town on foot. (unless you are with small kids) Hospitable hosts, clean authentic Scandinavian cottage with everything you need for a holiday. On the territory there is everything for children - a sandbox, a trampoline, a football field, swings.

The Internet haven't been working for a week when we arrived, but it wasn't a problem for us, as we spent all days in Billund. It might be a problem for people who need it, and would be better in that case to know about it before arriving

If I could give more than 10 I would! This is one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed. The location setting is stunning, beautiful forest, flowers, bushes. My room was spotlessly clean. The shared bathroom was spotlessly clean. The communal kitchen was spotlessly clean. I slept really well, the bed was so comfy. The owners were so friendly, my plane got diverted to another Danish airport so I messaged them via Booling.com and they responded quickly telling me not to worry that I would be checking in late. I walked from the airport (I like exercise) but a taxi would probably only take 5 mins. I also easily walked to Legoland and Billund centre, but again, a taxi journey would be short, less than 10 mins. I felt completely at ease as a solo traveller, both at the accommodation and in Billund itself. I didn't get the breakfast (that you can pay extra for) but i saw other families eating it and it looked tasty, varied, and plentiful. Honestly I cannot express how lovely this place was to stay. I will definitely be returning with my son, hopefully next year :)

Very nice place and great host. We had everything we needed. The host helped us to order very tasty Pizza and we rented bikes from him ( we were family of 4). We went everywere with bikes, it was very close ( Legoland, Lego House, Aquadome, Wow park). The place itself is beautiful- it is in the forest, kids have swings, trampoline and soccer field. There are two ponies you can feed and pet. We really enjoyed our stay.

The place is so lovely: quality of furniture and all the other equipment and facilities is high, everything is kept clean and just nice to look at. There's so much relaxing green areas around (fields and forests), lot's of birds and other animals to listen to and look at. Also a children's playground and outside tables and chairs.

It's a very good and quiet place with wonderful areas around and a very kind and nice couple of owners. There are a lot of flowers on the territory and a forest around. The place is very clean and you have everything you need there. Thanks a lot♡

We were walking on foot all the time, so it was about 20km a day to go to Legoland or Legohouse and come back. But it was okay for me and the kids, so it was not a problem :)

Easy to locate, just outside the main part of the town, but only a few moments on bike or a little longer of walking down the lane to Billand town. Even though we flew in, taxi to the accommodation, we rented bikes from the owners for the duration of our stay, so we could have the local experience rather than taxi or car rental options, definitely recommend with all the bike lanes.

A very cozy hotel with lovely rooms that have everything you need — a kitchen, decent bathroom, sofa, and bed. The terrace with a table is a nice bonus. Surrounded by forest, it's green and very quiet — perfect for a peaceful getaway.

The only downside is the distance from the city, which makes it a bit inconvenient without a car.
