We loved everything about our stay. The owner was incredibly kind to both us and our children. The property felt exactly like you would expect from a building not originally designed as a hotel – charming, authentic, and full of character. Nothing was oversold; if anything, it was underpromised, and we were genuinely pleasantly surprised. We finally found some quiet time, as the kids had a wonderful time playing with other guest children, either on the trampoline or in the playroom located in a separate building. The cleanliness was excellent. Everything was comfortable and truly felt like home. Having a shop nearby was also very convenient. 22 minutes drive to Legoland, Legohouse, Lalandia and airport. Also almost same time to https://www.givskudzoo.dk/en that we really loved. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We truly fell in love with the calmness and peaceful spirit of Denmark.

Just to offer some constructive feedback: • It would have been great to have some shampoo and conditioner available. When traveling with only hand luggage, these items are often left behind. • The door to our room did not lock • Adding some sugar to the kitchen supplies would be a nice touch. • I would not recommend this place for families with babies who cry at night or children who are light sleepers, as the walls are quite thin and every sound carries easily, especially if your room is near the bathroom. Of course, this is not the owner’s fault – buildings of this type simply aren’t designed to be soundproof. In any case, the positives far outweigh the negatives in every way.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment we stayed in was in a separate house, offering privacy. It was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Next doors was separate gaming/ playroom, sandbox and jumping space kept the kids entertained for hours. There’s also plenty of space to relax outside, nice fire place and chairs, and a parking spot right on-site (can charge also an electric car). A grocery store is nearby too. The owner was friendly and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived.

Our recent visit to Sdr. Omme Bed & Breakfast was nothing short of magical. Bente and Bjarne truly made our experience unforgettable, with a very warm welcome, cozy accomodation, impeccable surroundings, and local tips. From the moment we arrived, Bente and Bjarne greeted us with genuine warmth. The rooms were immaculate and cozy, with thoughtful touches everywhere. We felt right at home! The kids loved the garden/yard which is maintained to very high standards with cosy furniture and also a common games room. The BBQ, the fire pit, the football net and the trampolines were a nice touch which the kids absolutely loved! There is also the bakery nearby which is super delicious! Each morning felt like a treat :) Bjarne also gave us recommendations for nearby attractions which were spot-on. The accommodation is also central to great locations such as Legoland, Lego House, Wow Park, and Givskud Zoo. All were unforgettable experiences...We can’t wait to return! It was a magnificent experience staying in the house owned by Bjarne and Benta! It had everything we needed for our stay with 2 small kids (6 and 4 years). There is even a dedicated playroom where all guests can play table tennis, table football, shuffleboard, or other games that it has, not saying about tons of lego, as well as playground with football goal, 2 trampolines and sandbox :) The kitchen has everything needed to cook, plus there is a gas grill on the terrace. Even though all other 3 rooms also were rented out during our stay - everyone had enough place for themselves.

Just as an improvement - the bathroom on the second floor lacks a mirror :) and the terrace light was not working at all.

Very nice and friendly welcome. We had an apartment downstairs, but we were very happy with it 😊 Kitchen and bathroom were for our use only so we did not need to share with others. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, all the plates, cups, pots and everything you need 👏🏼 beds were comfortable, inyernet was working, TV was working, we felt like at home ❣️ lots of extra board games and legos inside our room so children are always busy 😊 also a big game room just across the backyard, we had lots of fun there 💕💕💕

Hey, as the host explained, there was some mix-up on Booking.com's side with our reservation, and our booked private studio had already been given to other guests. The property owner was very kind in this situation and let us stay for free in a room with a shared bathroom. He even gave us a bottle of wine as an apology for the misunderstanding. That was really lovely.

That we didn't get booked private studio. I don't like to share a bathroom with other guests and agree to pay more for this.

Kind staff, we even got a surprise apartment (a separate building) upgrade instead of just a room with no extra cost, so it was really comfortable for us with the baby. We could use our own kitchen. Next door there was a playroom. The host helped me even with printing a page. We were not cold, temperature was comfy even for the baby (it was really cold outside, even snowed). Everything in the apartment was brand new and super clean, like in a luxury hotel. Thanks! Billund airport (where I had to travel twice for work) was a 20-25 min drive away as far as I remember and there are no road tolls in Denmark. We visited Aarhus on my free day, it was a much longer drive though.

The weather was the worse of the year when we were there (early Feb), so much rain that it flooded the -1 level rooms at many places in the town (even this place, the big house), but of course it's not the hosts' fault. The apartment was behind the big house which shielded some of the road's traffic noise but even so some of it could be heard, but was not really disturbing, I'm a light sleeper but had no issues with noise during the night.

We had the pleasure to stay in a brand new apartment (house) with 4 bedrooms. Everything was perfect from the check in until check out. All beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. The bathrooms are new. A playroom is in the apartment, two trampolines are outside on the property. The host is super friendly and always willing to support. The apartment is about 20 minutes drive from Legoland or one hour drive to a fantastic beach. Overall we are very happy about our stay and we will come back if we visit Denmark again.

Everything was perfect.

The place looks as freshly renovated, with light toned colors, upper flour is very bright with windows allowing natural light to fill the dining room. Very cosy place for family and friends stay and spending time together in a larger group, at the dining table or at the sofas. Comfortable sleeping rooms and bathrooms. The hosts are very kind people. The village is small but nice, local bakery allows fresh breakfasts and coffee. We would defiantly stay there the second time.

There wasn’t anything that we disliked.

Our destination was Legoland. But the hotels near Legoland have huge prices, so it was cheaper to rent a car and stay here. Kids really enjoyed playing room and trampoline. There was really big kitchen, and there was everything you need to cook a meal, so we made meals there all the time. Store was 5 min by walk. There was Lego and board games for kids to play. It was really great staying. Very nice owners, the child forgot a toy and the owners agreed to send it by post office.
