Really cozy place with lots of details and perfectly clean. The garden is enormous and it has a trampoline, a small playhouse and they even let us play with some of their old toys. Nice breakfast with coffee, breads, cold cuts, eggs, juices, fresh fruit, some pastries and, again, details for children such as pancakes and hidden sweets. We stayed at the family room that has a queen bed and a double bed, with access to a small kitchen with fridge, kettle, microwave and sink, which was useful for preparing our picnics.

It is a wonderful place where you can relax after a day of exploring the area. Despite a very late arrival at the guest house, the owners made sure that we felt at home. A map and a warm welcome letter were waiting for us at the reception. After entering our apartment, we were delighted with its cozy decor and amazing cleanliness. However, the wow factor came during breakfast. Smiling and very communicative owners, delicious food and tiny bribes for children made every day a pleasant start. We just felt like good friends. The area of the guesthouse is suitable for active recreation or relaxation by the pond. A wonderful vegetable garden, which delighted my children, and the rooster's crowing wake-up, only completed a wonderful stay in the guesthouse. Thank you for your hospitality. ♥️

I have travelled far and wide, stayed in every manner of hotel, bed & breakfast, or other, and yet never found a place I would truly rate as exceptional. That is, until I stayed at Pension Lærkelill. The location, just outside the village, is excellent. The hosts, an absolutely lovely couple, are excellent: kind, very well spoken, attentive to their guests' needs, and practically always available. Breakfast was excellent, with tons of options, all delicious. The rooms are excellently equipped (with a microwave and fridge, a tea kettle, tea and coffee a-plenty, and of course all the other sundry), the shower is hot and never seemed to run out of water, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, well cared for, and lovingly invite any visitor to take a stroll down to the pond. I normally try to stay in different places when traveling, as I like to experience a wide gamut of what a country has to offer. For Pension Lærkelill, I made an exception and came back on my return trip through Denmark. If possible, the only downside was that I slept so amazingly well, I nearly woke up too late for breakfast. A sign on the wall proclaims: "Mom's hotel: always open". This place lives up to that motto.

I had a wonderful stay one night stay in the glamping tent whilst visiting the Lego House in Billund. I had seen the pictures and it looked good, but they do no justice into how peaceful it is here, how much attention love has been put into every detail. The tent and accompanying bathroom and kitchen were like new. Breakfast was plenty and of good quality ingredients. I was traveling on my own, but would definitely come back with my family if we were in the neighborhood, there were swings a playhouse and a trampoline for young kids.

There is nothing not to like.

The area is so nice and our daugther loved the big pretty garden with the nice playground and the animals. For breakfast our girl got such a sweet kids-plate which was her highlight of the day. The hosts are very nice and built a little paradise.

The room was pretty small and Basic - But this was no Problem for us at all. We would be happy to stay there again.

The environment is excellent—very peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to Billund, making it ideal for a family trip. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and helped us a lot during our stay. The breakfast was amazing, making me look forward to waking up every morning.

No mosquito net at the window

Amazing place. It was like staying in a fairy tale. Beautiful grounds and a lovely little cozy cottage. The breakfasts were stunning, best we had in our whole trip. Host was delightful, helpful and interesting. You can see her dedication throughout the whole place. Would love to spend much more time there.

Having to leave

The pension is very nicely set up with a large garden to sit, walk and play in. It offers rooms and two clamping tents and a cabin/stuga. The room we had was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel does not offer dinner or lunch and there are only few restaurants around that are often fully booked. For nice restaurants you have to drive a bit towards the sea.

The mansion and the large green area around it are wonderful, tidy and quiet. You can enjoy a delicious and various breakfast in a cozy room. The hosts are kind, friendly and always available.

Our room had very little space for clothes and baggage, but it obviously depends on its small size. Nevertheless it is completely and well equipped.

Very friendly hosts, lovely comfortable rooms and good breakfast buffet with lots of choice. Beautiful garden and lots of outdoor playing facilities for children.
