Amazing stay. Very clean, warm, comfortable and the breakfast was very impressive. The staff were so welcoming and polite. The parking is included in your stay and it's less than a 10 mins walk to Legoland. It is also near the town which features LegoHouse/Mini Chef. The walk there is probably about 20 mins at a quick pace and through a sculpture park. The pool facilities were great and had tonnes of floats out for the kids. There is an outdoor play area as well as a basement with a ball pit, games, toys, gym, mini football pitch. Honestly this place is amazing and we would 100% recommend and stay again!

Location: 5 stars The hotel location was less than a 5 minute walk to Lalandia and a 10 minute walk along a wonderful nature trail to Lego House. Only about 8 minutes by taxi to the airport. Breakfast: 4.5 stars The hotel breakfast was plentiful and had lots of variety to suit all interests. (No made-to-order options). The breakfast area was clean and well stocked and had plenty of seating and even a cozy wood burning fireplace. Common areas: 5 stars There was tons of seating and little alcoves scattered in the common areas to hang out away from your room and play games (provided) or read. The common areas seemed to have been recently updated and had comfortable furnishings. The pool and game area for kids was fantastic. Everything from a Fooseball table to a ball pit. Staff: 5 stars All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. What a gem of a hotel in this lovely little town.

Rooms: 4 stars The rooms need a bit of updating/modernizing, at least the one we were in. The Ping Pong table only had 1 ball.

Staff all very friendly and helpful and gave us a lovely welcome Facilities at the hotel are very good (lovely pool and sauna area and small but well appointed gym) and the WiFi was a good speed. Excellent quiet location for visiting Lego House and Legoland (about a 15 min walk or 5 minute taxi ride) and nice walking area outside around the sculpture park.

Although there is a small deli area offering some salads, sandwiches, pasrties and soup and snacks, the hotel only really caters for breakfast, but can help with lunch if required. You will need to venture into town for more lunch and dinner options Double bed does have 2 individual quilts , which I hadn't encountered in a hotel before, but it wasn't a problem. There were no cups in the room for coffee/tea, only 1 glass

Best location to visit main attractions - Legoland, Lalandia, Legohouse etc. All walkable even with kids. Very tasty breakfast with large selection. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and terrace entrance. Kids outdoor and indoor playground, pool. They organize a treasure hunt for the kids every day.

The water in swimmingpool was a bit cold and the saunas as well. No slippers/robes in room. No airconditioning and bad ventiliation in rooms, so it got quite warm and uncomfortable in July. Breakfast timeslots must be pre-booked and many times are already taken, so you may miss your pre-booked timeslotes to attractions (etc Legohouse's entrance)

The breakfast was amazing, many options, everything was delicious! Very friendly staff. The location of the hotel is amazing. It's 5 minutes to Legoland, 15 minutes to Lego House, 7 minutes to Lalandia with the supermarket . Easy to visit all the main attractions. TV doesn't have that many channels, but has an open possibility to Chromecast apps, so we could enjoy YouTube and Netflix in preferred language. Hotel has many cool facilities, like the swimming pool, gym, kids playroom. They have an active game for children, where they need to find small elephants hidden in the hotel and figure out a secret password based on their names. Really cute, and the children loved it.

There is no Air Conditioning in the hotel, so it can be quite a challenge to get a good night sleep on a hot summer night. Probably won't be a problem if visiting in spring or autumn. The room was barely enough for a family of 4. The sofa bed has seen better days and the second half of it, held by flimsy legs was prone to giving in and crashing down on the floor, readily injuring anyone, more active than a sloth (thankfully, no one was seriously injured). Ended up putting three people on the bed and one on the sofa (using the more or less stable half of the sofa bed).

We had a good experience when we stayed here as part of our trip to visit Legoland and Lego House. Our room was large with comfortable beds and practical storage, so worked great for our family (2 adults and 2 kids). The staff were very helpful and friendly. Jonas (night-receptionist) was particularly helpful when my daughter was feeling ill during the night. Breakfast was fairly good too. The Lodge is approx 1.5km from the center of Billund, and there is a nice car-free path nearly all the way.

The location of this hotel is excellent - a short walk to both Legoland and the Lego House - so it was the perfect position for us. The hotel was clean and facilities were good. Breakfast was really excellent, there was a lot of choice and it was all fresh, with plenty of fruit. Staff were helpful and friendly, there is a nice little playground and we liked the pool which was a decent size and had lots of floats for children to use.

Could have had some gluten free options for bread/pastries. The hotel was rather expensive compared to other places we stayed in Scandinavia. The room we shared as a family of 4 was quite small and as a result got very hot at night.

Breakfast was great. Everything fresh, warm, various. Also the location is perfect, very close to legoland and airport.

The room was a little bit dusty and had an unpleasant smell. The shower faucet was rusty. Also, we had a problem with the heating sistem, for 2 night it didn’t work properly and in one night water was dripping from the ceiling. The activity room for kids it was messy and not that baby friendly ( it is a mix of toys from 0 to 10) - if you have a baby under 3 yo you need to be very careful.

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. It is a lovely place to stay with a family. A quiet and peaceful place. The room was clean and very nice. A playground, sandpit, swimming pool, mini soft play and table games are available for kids. Breakfast is amazing, the staff is helpful and very friendly. The location is great, only a 5-minute walk to Legoland on a pedestrian pavement or a 20-minute walk to Coop SuperBrugsen supermarket. This hotel is worth the money.

Not a minus just some points for improvement. We didn't know that the table for breakfast needed to be booked in advance for the specific time (apparently, you should check your confirmation email and it should be stated there). We arrived at 23.30 in a hotel, but the time slots for breakfast were left only for 6.30 (7)am, and you had to come only in your 1-hour slot, which is quite tricky with a 5-year-old child :). The staff was helpful though and supported us in this situation. No dinner is available, but you can visit the nearest hotel or the local supermarket Coop SuperBrugsen to get some salads/or bakery.

So well set up for children and families with an outdoor playground area, a basement with table tennis table football, an area for younger children with ball pit and lots of lego. There is also a nice hotel pool. The hotel is right next to a sculpture trail and play line. Opposite lalandia, 5-10 min walk to legoland. The sculpture trail is a really pleasant walk into Billund town and the lego house along the edge of a stream/river. Lots of wildlife and trees. The airport is nearby so you can see and hear the planes.

The hotel didn't do evening meals in their restaurant. They do have a 'deli' with pre prepared food available and they were able to recommend various places nearby - there were lots of options in lalandia for example.
