I couldn't wait to write this review and tell you how great everything was. The room is small but cozy, the bathroom is large. Perfect for 2 persons. Very comfortable beds, great pillows. Quiet in the night. The pool is open long hours, until 10 pm, and I think it's heated, because the water was really warm enough. Both in the room and in the pool showers, you will find natural Danish cosmetics that are suitable for children. There are many swimming equipment for children in the pool. There is a small warm pool for babies. The games room is large: there is a separate room for playing football, large chess, table football, table tennis, and also a ball pool for toddlers. You will find toys and of course Lego for building. The gym is modern, new and tidy. The gym equipment is new, wooden, authentic, beautiful and stylish. You can take great photos for Instagram :) Breakfast is worth a separate post: all products are of very high quality. Although the food is the same every morning, when it is good and tasty, let it be repeated :) Authenticity and sustainability are felt everywhere. That was impressed. The hotel's location is perfect: next to Legoland and Lalandia parks. You can reach Lego house through a beautiful sculpture park, about 15 minutes on foot. It was an ideal short break while visiting Legoland with a child. I would definitely come back again.

Location was very good. Central to walk to Legoland, Lalandia aquadome and legohouse. Our room was comfortable and had everything we required. Our boys loved the pool and it was great to unwind there after the hectic days of activities. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff at reception could not have been more helpful.

One staff member was very rude on the morning we were leaving as I was going to take a roll with cheese for my boys as they did not eat much breakfast. The staff person was very rude and snatched it out of my hand. She could have been more professional in telling us that food was not allowed to be taken out of the dining room.

Wide options for breakfast and friendly staff. Outside and inside spacious areas nicely decorated. 24 hours "bar. / convenience area" where you could find refreshments, beer and something to eat. SPA and Swimming pool with average and a bit outdated equipment. On the other way, the gym is very interesting and well equipped - also open 24 hours.

I forgot a t-shirt in my room, called the reception during the checkout day and hotel staff wasn't able to provide support. The platform to book the breakfast doesn't allow you to book the breakfast hour after 00:00, meaning the experience in my first breakfast upon checking in at 00:30 was not the best and lead to a long wait.

The location was great, within a pleasant walking distance to Legoland. We liked this hotel more than the big ones next door. The room was large enough for a family, beautifully prepared and we got in a little early. The kids also liked the playground. We rented a car to drive around a bit and there were enough parking spaces. Breakfast was very good, the food was delicious.

The hotel also had a small pool which was good, but the towels got soaked. There was nowhere to dry them. The second day was not cleaned which is generally normal but we had to make do with wet towels because we couldn´t find anyone to ask for a change.

Location is great, a matter of a few mins walk to key Billund attractions, staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and good size. Great facilities in hotel overall. Value for money, half the price of other same star level resorts within a few minutes of this and yet, more facilities, more helpful staff, cleaner, and comfortable stay. Would return and recommend.

Only two small notes, no A/C in rooms, wasn’t a problem during our stay, though would be a consideration if coming in peak summer for us and bathroom was a little dated with shower that dripped for good while after use.

The Lodge is a beautiful building it has a massive courtyard out back for sitting and is only a 15-20 minute walk from billund airport and only a 5 minute walk to Legoland Billund and Aquadome. I stayed here to visit friends in Herning, and the room was huge, unfourtunatly i did not have my togs to try out the swimming pool but i did go for a look and it was a very nice size as well as the sauna , there is a big area for kids with giant chess and a very well sized and equiped gym The breakfast was top class with a nice selection of hot and cold food

room was huge but i do feel like the lighting could be better, as the bathroom and single light in the main area made it a little darker than I would have liked but other than that it is more of a personal preference issue

Location: 5-10 min walking to Legoland and/or nearest bus stop, 15-20 min walking to Lego House. Excellent and truly abundant choice for breakfast - both for adults and kids. Great pool, and water accessories for kids, chairs for parents (to overlook the kids’ long sessions in the water :)) Possibility for luggage storage. Extremely helpful staff. Self-service Leaf Deli choices for whichever meal at the hotel/in your room (with payment at the reception desk).

Really the ONLY disturbing thing was that the womens’s sauna did not function on any of the 3 evenings we spent there, there was no sign/indication about it on the sauna door. When asked about it from the reception, they knew about it; however, the suggestion was to use the men’s sauna, IF men agree to it.

The location was excellent—just a 5-minute drive to LEGOLAND and a 15-minute walk to both the LEGO House and Billund city center. The room was very spacious and comfortable, perfect for families. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities for both adults and children, including a swimming pool, games, and other fun activities. While the bathrooms in the rooms could use a small renovation, overall it was a very nice hotel and a great place to stay! The breakfast options were very large and delicious, with something for everyone to enjoy.

I liked everything! It’s located 7 min (on foot) from the Legoland and about 20 min (on foot) from the city centre where Lego House is. There’s also a playground near the hotel, so kids can play there any time. Breakfasts are superb and very rich. On top of that, there’s a cafe inside the hotel where you can buy some snacks, bowls, salads, and even a soup. This saved us quite a penny :) plus you can also have fun in the swimming pool and/or playroom downstairs. The playroom has a tennis table, kicker, chess (on the floor either big figures to move), and I think a small gym is also there on the ground floor. Our stay was awesome, I highly recommend the place ❤️

We really liked almost everything! The price was very reasonable, and the location is perfect — just 5 minutes by car from LEGO House, which was the main reason for our trip. Breakfast was really good. You need to book a time slot in advance (which seemed unusual at first), but it worked great — it wasn’t crowded, and we could enjoy it calmly. The food selection was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised to see fresh avocados and fruit smoothies — not something you often find at hotel breakfasts. The pool was also a big reason we chose this hotel. It was a bit chilly (around 20°C), but there’s a warm baby pool right next to it and a sauna, which made it perfect for families. There were lots of other families too, which made the atmosphere fun and relaxed for kids. Also, the free ice pops for kids at check-in were a lovely touch!

We stayed in an Avenue room, which faces the parking lot and is close to the street — it was a bit noisy. It’s the cheapest room type, but I wish it had been clearer what that meant when booking. The breakfast coffee also tasted too mild — probably just a machine setting, but still worth fixing.
