Go Sleep Vandel is recommended for families visiting LegoLand/ Lego House and are on a budget. The reasonably priced unit that we booked was comfortable, clean and friendly. We did not meet the staff (key code entry, contactless check-in and check-out). The kitchen is well equipped, the coffee machine was also great! One note to families travelling to and from Billund is my recommendation to using the local bus nr 143 which travels pretty frequently but should always be checked for exact timetable as it is different on workdays and weekend / holidays. The bus ticket for 2 adults was 52 DKK (1 child travels free per paying adult), and it can be only paid in cash on the bus, we could not use sydtrafik app to pay.

Simple and clean. The basic needs are covered but it can be improved. Parking on site available. Bus stop for bus route 143 billund- vejle just a few steps away so it is very convenient (less than 10 mins to Billund, around 25 mins to Vejle). Be aware that there is only one bus per hour. It takes cash but it’s better to download the app to purchase tickets. No direct connection to the airport 10 mins away , but you can call for taxi via Uber app. We were in the 2nd floor (room 203). It’s a good size apartment with 2 bedrooms. There was a shared kitchen outside for the 2nd floor guests .

- no black out curtains for the windows - the room smells damp, no ventilation in the bathroom. We aired the room when we are there - our room was only cleaned once (we stayed for a week ) - walls are very thin, you can hear the people in the corridor or people slamming doors - it would be nice if there were laundry rooms on site , even if it needs to be paid - does not seem to be wheelchair friendly. May not be entirely suitable for family with young kids who would need strollers - we had a 4 year old and the bathroom sink was too high for him , perhaps kids stools can be made available

Nice to have some room in a hotel room in Europe. Even had a mini fridge which much fancier hotels have not had. Fairly basic in decor, etc but that’s totally fine. The “hands free” check in and out was new but worked well. No need for a front desk. Rikke was prompt with replies.

It was a bit farther then I wanted from Billund and although there is a bus, you have to have the correct app and it only runs every hour or 1/2 hour at the high times, so less then ideal for some travel. And if you have to have your morning coffee, there is no where near by to get one. :)

This is basically a building with apartment-style rooms with self-service check-in and check-out, which worked fine. It was very good value for money. Room was spacious, modern, clean, with kitchen. Location was close to Legoland, but not walkable. There is a supermarket nearby, as well as a burger place and a combined döner-pizza place.

I generally don’t like these places much where there is no staff at all. The whole process is completely automated: You get a code, it opens the door to the room, then when you leave you have to click a link in a message they sent you to let them know you’re gone. I guess it‘s one of the things that makes a low price possible.

I had a great time in this quiet, little but cozy BnB. I was able to easily go travel in the area, Quickly go to Vejle and Billund, work and cook my own meals, without having any issue whatsoever. The customer service is really fast to reply to any query and it has always been kind and helpful. I spent two weeks in this BnB and put it to the test, but it did everything I was expecting from it. Finally, having the parking included and a view on the woods, for those who stay in the containers, makes it really convenient and pleasant to wind down in the evening.

The air ventilation tended to make the room very dusty, even after the weekly cleaning was done. Also, if you’re cooking a lot in the room like I did, the cooker fan, despite strong, doesn’t send the fumes outside but uses a filter instead. I had to open the windows every time I cooked to ensure the air could circulate properly and smell didn’t remain in the room for too long.

The location was perfect. Reasonable driving distance to Legoland (approximately 10 mins drive) and it's easy to check-in and check-out. The host Rikke was so kind and he even kindly upgraded our room and the flat was so cosy and comfy. You will find everything you need in the room and the room temperature was adjustable, perfect for Danish winter. There is a pizza restaurant and a supermarket nearby. And the pizza was surprisingly delicious. The check-in was super smooth and you just need to enter the code. There is nothing to worry about, and you just feel cozy and comfy.

We stayed 4 nights here so it's a bit embarrassing to say that we were running out of the toilet paper.

We liked that it was a quiet, clean, family-friendly and well-located accommodation. It is right next to a bus stop (with a direct bus to Billund Center, Lego House, Legoland, and Billund Airport). The interior was very pleasant and the flat was very well-equipped. The nights started to get cold during our stay but the flat was warm and cosy. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette included apart from a fridge, a hob and a sink even a small oven and a dishwasher, which is great because the last thing you want to do on your holiday is wash dishes:)). The hosts were very responsive - we had some questions and they messaged us back immediately with all the information we needed. They were even so kind to upgrade us to a bigger unit.

We didn't find a brush/sponge to wash the dishes in the kitchenette, but there was a small dishwasher so we simply used it instead. Therefore I cannot say that it was something that influenced our stay much. Just a suggestion for the future in case there are guests who don't have enough items to fill up the dishwasher.

The apartment was lovely and very clean, the location was as we expected but was also lovely. Super convenient with the bus stop right outside.

I’m not sure if it was something available previously, but having coffee ready to make would have been great. After having a look we could only find coffee beans, but no grinder and filter coffee machine but no coffee. Also as non-smokers ourselves we appreciate that it’s a non-smoking property, so we were surprised by how much the hallway/foyer (from the main front door we used) smelt very strongly of cigarettes.

location is great if you are driving to legoland, overall stay was comfortable and convenient. The kitchen facilities are a great thing to have when travelling with kids.

The kitchen is fully self-serviced, which is fine for me, but this also means that if others have eaten and didn't wash their stuff, it stays in the kitchen, and I need to wash a pot for myself after them. Since we had couple of unpleasant neighbours with smelly foods and little discipline to clean, this was disturbing. I know it's a self service hotel overall, but something has to be done to it, maybe at least very distinct rules of using the kitchen, listed everywhere.

Everything worked as expected. No surprises. Getting the door code was easy and the host was kind friendly. The apartment was clean and furnished with all the basic equipment you might need to stay there for some days. The parking on the spot is free
