Too bad can only rate 10 out of 10. Amazingly clean room with beautiful bathroom, comfy beds and nice accessories as plugs with usb points. The whole setup including modern fully furnished kitchen, lovely surroundings. Own chicken hence frsh eggs, homemade bread and jam just add to the homely feel. Kids loved to play upstairs in the common area. If weather would be better we would have loved to try out the boat at their own lake. Best of all were our hosts You can't ask for more lovely and attentive persons. . I had a medical emergency the first night and Candy helped no matter the time. They even offered to fetch me fm a hospital 50km away the next day... This couple lived all around the world and are super easy and happy to talk to. I wish we would have had more time with them but billund is too entertaining for kids and our schedule was tight. I hope we will get the chance to come back in nearer future. Should they ever come to Singapore I would be happy to invite them for a nice dinner as a thank you for this outstanding hospitality

The reception was very friendly. The rooms and bathroom are modern and very well maintained. I liked that we didn't have a TV in the room. The breakfast was also good and the cocoa was specially prepared for the children, which I really liked. The location of the guesthouse is perfect for escaping from everyday life in the city. There is a small lake on the property, somewhat hidden, which has a few surprises in store.

A proper wardrobe would be recommended for a longer stay. But actually there is nothing to complain about.

This is a truly amazing B&B, quite brand new and in a wonderful location. Very beautiful room with 4 beds and a gorgeous bathroom. On the 1st floor there a well equipped kitchen and a family room where you can eat your food and the breakfast is served. In the morning fresh bread with ham, salami, marmalade and eggs with coffee orange juice and milk. But above all, our lovely host Candy was absolutely kind. Well done Candy hope to see you soon!

The room and facilities were very clean and nicely decorated in typical Scandinavian fashion. Breakfast was served with freshly baked bread and to a time to suit us.. A short distance from the airport, so no long and tiring drive once off the aircraft… a definite bonus!

It’s not a complaint, more a warning to other travellers! Do not turn into the first driveway. At night it can be difficult to see the sign for the B&B car park and I ended up turning in to the owners private drive :)

The location and surroundings are stunning. The lake is beautiful, the rooms are very high quality, and the facilities are great for couples and families. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of options and you can request food at whatever time suits you. Thank you Candy for a wonderful stay.

A list of some recommended restaurants in the local towns would be useful for guests to have (we didn't ask at the time, but perhaps some pointers would be helpful).

We made a family trip to Billund to visit Lego House. Assengard B&B is an 11 minute drive to Lego House. The B&B is in a idyllic location off a quiet country road. The property is large and tidy, with green lawns and flowers blooming. There is a beautiful pond. We rented two rooms, which were immaculately clean and well-furnished. The furnishings seemed brand new. The host greeted us when we arrived, and checked what time we would like her homemade breakfast. Breakfast was abundant, and included homemade bread, fresh eggs from her chickens, jams, cheeses, juice, and coffee, among other things. We will absolutely stay here any time we return. We’ve stayed at hotels in Billund before, and this is a much better value and experience.

Everything was very good! The place is in the middle of Give and Billund, and if you really want to you can go by foot to Legoland (10 minutes by car). The breakfast is very good. Eventhough we do not eat that much in the morning, there is bread, eggs, juice, jam, coffee and more. The host is very friendly and always in for a talk. The room is very good. Everything looks new and is clean! We enjoyed this stay in Denmark.

There was nothing to complain about. When running a B&B this is what it should be!

We liked the place, it was very cosy, near to Legoland Billund, it was hygge, breakfast was good, the owners are very kind

The matrass and pillows were very unconfortable, we didn’t feel very rested after the sleep, you have to clean after yourself after the breakfast (Its kind of expensive to stay when you have to clean afterwards). Otherwise nice

We received a warm welcome and explanation of the facilties when we arrived. Both my part er and I remarked how exceptionally clean the rooms and bathrooms were as well as the communal spaces. A pleasant surprised upstairs was the play areas and toys available for the children, there were also play facilities outdoors too.

Nothing at all. We have no complaints as this was such a pleasant stop on our journey.
