Parking was easy though there are limited spots (I know there is alternative parking at about 16 Euro per night). The hotel is a nice period hotel. The breakfast is adequate. The rooms passable and the hotel very centrally located with lots of restaurants near by I've stayed a few times before and it will continue to make a great stop of between Jutland and Copenhagen for me.

The hotel and rooms are getting a bit tired.

A classic great breakfast with both bread and warm alternative dishes. Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and panncakes. Cheese, ham, salami and vegeteables. Youghurt, fruitsalad and minidonuts. Coffe, juice and other alternatives. Overall a great breakfast in my taste. Free parking if avaliable. We got a great spot and i was very surpised it was free. Odense i such a clean city where they have managed to mix old and new architecture perfect. Excellent variety of restauratns and pubs. Just loved our stay.

We got a nice spacious room with two separate beds as wished for, and everything was very clean and tidy. The evening meal was very good, and we enjoyed that we could have a relatively late dinner on the day of our arrival. I also liked that we could opt for not having the room cleaned and towels and bedclothes removed during our 2 nights - removing towels and bedclothes after just one usage is really bad for the environment, and under normal circumstances not necessary. The idea that we had to put the "fejebakke" outside the door if we needed the cleaning and change of sheets etc is very good. And I liked the old elevator - this is really a historic piece - and then finely supplemented by a more modern and bigger elevator. But the old elevator gives a good feeling for the history of this nicely renovated old hotel.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. The scrambled eggs did not really taste of eggs, they were sweet and not so appealing. And I missed morning rolls (danske rundstykker) - the sliced bread was fine, but I missed the crust of a real morning roll.

Location: very convenient, near bus train station and a short walk to the center. The bathroom is huge. Breakfast is also good.

We paid by a credit card outside EU and were charged extra fee on using the card! If we had known about this, we could have paid by cash. I would recommend the hotel to put a note informing guests at the reception counter in English not in Danish cause we could not understand and wondered why the payment is more than a confirmation rate!

The warm welcome and the continued care for us by the girl at reception was exceptional. She went the extra mile to make us feel at home and explain as much as possible about the area to us. The location was ideal too, and the big double bed lovely and comfortable. There is hot chocolate/coffee available all day/evening which felt luxurious and even our fussy requirements for boiling water and milk for Tea were met kindly and generously.

The hotel is an older building and whilst there was actually no dampness or discomfort whatsoever, when we first arrived there was a damp smell that was disconcerting. The room smelt damp on first entry and actually very quickly it became home and we completely forgot about our first concerns, everything was actually clean and fresh and comfortable.

Very close to station, ideal for short stopover. 24hr reception where you can leave bags, but we arrived at midday and as the room was ready they let us check in early. Friendly welcome from receptionist. Lift. OK room, missing a kettle, but coffee available near reception (and we were told free afternoon cakes). Room fairly quiet even though facing road and railway. Breakfast OK (though scrambled eggs were cold even when they'd just emerged from the kitchen!)

Hotel prices in Denmark!

The wonderful wedding and the time that we spent in Odense, would not have been possible without the staff at the hotel. They tended to our every need, made us feel at home and gave us a lovely suprises on our special day. When we do return to Odense in the future, we know that this is a place which will look after us well.

The location and the staff were amazing. Exactly next to the train station, one of the main parks and a 5 minute walk to the city centre. Breakfast buffet and coffee machine were excellent both had a wide variety of options. (Bacon 🥓 was our favourite).

I felt like the rooms could be ventilated and lit up a bit better. The elevators were a bit scary. The aesthetic is very nice but I feel like there is space for improvement.

The place is beautiful and old-timey. The bed is very soft. The room gives out a very creative vibe. Very pleasant stuff. Good breakfast. Wooden key cards. 500 meters from the city center. A balcony. Beautiful hall. Access to coffee and snacks during the day. The elevator is a highlight of its own :)

The hotel is across from the train station. Very noisy with windows opened. Rooms are carpeted, and you can smell that somebody was smoking there before. It's faint, but it is unfortunately there. Corny jokes with sexual subtext about being mindful of water and electricity consumption around the room are hit or miss. (More miss)

Love the old style, and the large room. The staff were excellent, and very helpful. Location was good, with most things really close. Breakfast had more meat protein sources than some other hotels we stayed at.

The room was a little too warm and no ac. The first fan they gave us didn't work, and the second was too small and had some problems in the turning mechanism that was noisy.
