First, the location is great. The exterior (as well as the interior tbh) is beautiful - great place for wedding photos (if you're in Odense for this purpose of course). The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options are pretty standard but good in terms of taste and variety. Superior room is quite spacious and has a bathtub (that was a big pro for us).

The room lacks some appliances - like for example there no AC unit, you get a fan instead. I understand it might be hard to install AC in what looks like a historical building so that's not a con, more like a note for people to be aware of. The room could also benefit from some deep cleaning (like shower heads etc) Also, a big con for me is late check-in/early check-out times. It's 16:00/11:00 which is a bit much (on top of that late check-out costs extra).

We had an amazing stay here. The hotel is in a perfect location close to transport and all bars and clubs. The staff are so friendly and accomodating. While here me and my partner got married. While the room was basic enough it was really comfortable and clean and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was great and the bar war was very cute. Special shout out to the bar man who was so friendly and made amazing aperol spritz. We will always cherish our stay in this hotel and would love to come back for our anniversary next year hopefully

Amazing hotel, beautiful and atmospheric. Located very conveniently near city center, and very close to train station. Hostess who happened to both check us in and out was super friendly and nice. Room was clean and comfortable, we were able to have good night sleep. I was glad to find an iron and ironing board available right in the room. Breakfast is also great, many options, all very tasty.

Minor negative points for me were lack of lighting in the bathroom in our room (specifically, above the sink and shower) and missing toiletries shelf in the shower.

This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! It's was beautiful, clean, really convenient - with great facilities, restaurant, bar - it even had a little gym that I used. We stayed on two different nights with a night somewhere else in between. The first night we were in a superior room which was so spacious and comfortable but then on the second night they upgraded us to the Grand Suite! I have no idea why but it was pure luxury and the best nights sleep I have ever had. It was also our wedding night (the staff did not know this!) so such an unexpected treat. All of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Plus the food - breakfast and we had dinner in their restaurant on the second night - was delicious- we're still talking about the breakfast! I honestly don't know why they don't charge more!

The location is excellent. In general, the room was good, but there were some minor issues (see next section). The breakfast options were numerous and very delicious. I can also recommend the hotel's fish restaurant for dinner. The staff was very friendly and competent. I would book the hotel again, if I come back to Odense.

The room structure was odd. The bed was in one corner, while the TV was orthogonal to the bed. The couch was quite old and did not look that clean. The bathroom was rather small, and the water pressure was very low.

Beautiful historic hotel, lovely big room (smart twin) with coffee machine and mini bar that was replenished daily. Room spotlessly clean. Location amazing 5mins from train station and right in the heart of bars resteruants. Walking distance to some attractions. Breakfast is amazing with hot and cold selection, room service is also available.

Only one pillow each. Room is very warm, little fan supplied did nothing. However windows opened which helped a little. Only one English TV channel and that is BBC news.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly at reception. The allocated room was spacious. The breakfast will be remembered always. The selection of food items was diverse, presentation was of the highest standard (napkins not serviettes and condiments in individual glass jars… so sweet) and I could enjoy my first cup of tea in a proper teapot for many weeks. It was superb! We were also allowed to stow our luggage the next morning as we had a later day train connection.

I really love the ability to make a hot drink in my room. My European experience suggests that this is not standard practice like it is in Australia (even a basic motel room provides a jug with items to make a tea/ coffee… and a fridge). However, no jug provided.

Everyone on staff is top drawer professional. Nothing was beyond them. Room was very nice, with plenty of linens and comfortable bedding and the renovation for this 130 year old elegant hotel is superb. The Bar is handy with a full range of drinks; alcoholic and otherwise, and the dining room is stellar for both breakfast and dinner.

To satisfy the requirements of the historical building, the windows on the 3rd floor, as well as the shower head and much of the lighting require a chair to reach if you are under 170cm (5'-7"). A chair is provided at an accommodating desk; although I'm sure that was not the original intent of the provision. Having stayed here before, I can recommend a request for a 1st or 2nd floor room if your height is limited! ;)

From the arrival to departure, our one night stay was full of friendly charm. The hotel is in a perfect location to visit Odense. Staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. We bought a local cake, requesting cutlery and coffee on the outside patio, staff happily obliged free of charge. Breakfast was fantastic in a charming restaurant the following morning. Highly recommended.

Like all Danish hotels providing supportive pillows. Otherwise, nothing to say here.

The hotel was well located. All staff were excellent. The buffet breakfast in the dining room was very good. Our room was comfortable and I was delighted we had a bath although this meant that the over-bath shower wasn’t as good as a stand alone shower. The bedroom was spacious and had everything we needed but felt a little basic. The hotel has a nice feel to it and was an attractive building.
