My stay at this hidden gem in Sosua was simply exemplary and was by far the best experience during my month-and-a-half visit. I wish I had discovered this place sooner. Its prime location offers both tranquility and convenience, right at the heart of everything. Surprisingly quiet and affordable, the hotel provides a fast and reliable internet service that catered to my needs perfectly. The staff's professionalism and warmth stood out, making me feel instantly at home, with a special mention for Pablo, whose excellent service was a class apart. If you're planning a stay in Sosua, this place absolutely deserves to top your list. A well-deserved 10-star rating for this outstanding establishment!

The staff was very friendly and got anything you needed. Our room was cleaned daily if we wanted and we alway had fresh towels and clean linens. A cozy air conditioned apartment with everything you would need for a comfortable and affordable vacation or long term stay. Quiet and simple place just off the main roads but close enough to walk to restaurants and bars, as well as 2 different beaches. Pablo was always there to help with anything you needed and a great guy to chat and have a few laughs with! We will miss you guys and thanks again for the great stay at perla de sosua

The pool area could use some fresh paint and a bit more plants or wall art to make it feel more tropical but that was a very minor detail

My wife and I spent two weeks at Perla de Sosua last March (2020) and were so pleasantly surprised with our accommodations, location and incredible staff. We just finished our 2021 stay and had a great repeat experience. Literally a five minute walk to the best beaches, restaurants and shops in Sosua, yet totally hidden in a gated landscaped compound, Perla offers you a relaxed family style atmosphere in a secluded and quiet setting. We loved having our choice of making our breakfast in our apartment kitchen or being lazy and taking a short stroll to Bailey’s. An added bonus was the care and attention given us by the resident staff and owner, Ivan, who are always present to make your stay more enjoyable. On a value for money basis this place cannot be beat.

Pablo and the staff took such good care of us! He helped us get to the 27 Waterfalls in guaguas which was easy and inexpensive….but primarily got us there before the crowds. We were able to do all 27….a fabulous experience! Tours just do the bottom 7.

It was all fine. One needs to roll with the DR things that come up (like the town shutting the electrify off…but generators get one by with lights and recharging cell phones)

Great location near Bailees Restaurant and close to Sosua center. Location was very quiet for sleeping, which was great. The security/maintenance man, Pablo, was always very helpful. Guest friendly hotel.

Hot water in my room (apt. #1) was not usually available (i.e. cold showers).

The place was very nice! It is centrally located but it is still on a very quiet side street. The area is very safe too as it is next to a bank. It is close to the beach so it's a perfect place to stay on vacation. The receptionist and owner are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

For that price, I don't have any complaints!

The decor is a bit dated, and there’s only air conditioning in the bedroom. The Wi-Fi is also so terrible, it’s worse-than-dialup-bad.

Don't accept card payments and for a traveling couple is a hustle running around finding a bank to get cash to pay for booking instead of relaxing for trips and may o add is very hot too!!

The Location is ok ,short walking distance to beach Behind the bank and quiet that I liked the most. The staff is the stars, they was available and always willing to assist with any issues or general questions.

I think they are going through some renovations and maintenance but the all white walls was a downer.
