To start the staff was great! The ocean View at breakfast with my mimosa.!the Michael jackson show at the theater was amazing.! The food was awesome. I do recomended.

The Location, beautiful views from our room. The staff: Francesas( Select Reception ), Harrison at the Bar was very friendly.

The Food in the Mexican Restaurant was not good It had no flavor our group agreed it was the worst. The Buffet is too small for the amount of people at the resort it’s was too crowded although the seating area reserved for SELECT customers is Nice. The Rooms are outdated and it wasn’t clean, there was stain in the Shower and selling.

The beach views are stunning and the beach is clear, beautiful, in snorkeling distance, and safe. It can be a bit choppy with boats passing but it’s perfect for swimming. There are plenty of places to grab drinks and the bar and staff are nice overall. The guys at the bar in the Select area were excellent. Most drinks are doubles. They also make good coffee right there. The coffee if the room is actually really good and in the buffet is great. All restaurants are comfortable and airy.

We had a junior suite swim up room in the adults only area of the hotel called “Select.” To get there was difficult as Google maps and Booking show two separate locations but you can only enter through the main Casa Marina entrance. The room air conditioner did not work the first day. We sent a WhatsApp message and they fixed in within a few hours of being notified. The room provides no privacy. I was very surprised based on the photos. The swim up pool was being used by guests not in the room, and people would swim across it or walk across your balcony to get out of the pool to get a drink. I can’t believe we paid extra for this. We had to keep the blinds closed the entire time because the doors are see through and the bar, buffet entrance, and main pool borders the swim up pool - so everyone all day long is sitting right outside your room able to see inside! The main hotels pools areas are very loud all day and have music or activities. The adults only is loud with drunk adults yelling to each other across the pool! The beach was much more peaceful. Very hard bed. The buffet had weird food for lunch and dinner everyday and I do not consider myself to be a picky eater at all. They had a pasta bar but you have to wait in line for 20 minutes to get it. Each restaurant requires a reservation so you have no choice but the buffet for the day you arrive - and it starts at 6:30pm. So we had breakfast and then no food options at check in (3pm) until 6:30. I would expect there to always be food available at an all inclusive during the day. My husband and I are in DR all the time and are in the process of buying property there. This was far more expensive than it’s worth.

The property is really pretty the outside, of course but the rooms was not so so awesome. Our experience there this time around was not a good one. I will not be returning.

I did not like how the workers there treated my sister-in-law they treated her like if she was a criminal from the start, which was not right because she paid more money than we all did and they gave her crappy room.

The location and Hermanns Restaurant

Bed and pillows should be more comfortable and more specialty restaurant should be available especially in the select area.

The rooms in the adult section were nicer than the regular rooms. Obviously more expensive.

Poor Food selection - very limited. Disappointing.
