The room was spacious, with a huge bed. The window overlooking the park was soundproof, the street could hardly be heard. The TV chair was extremely comfortable. The aircon worked well. the bathroom was sufficiently sized. The room was very clean on arrival and was maintained so by the daily cleaning service. Breakfast was sufficient. Good choice of warm options, including at least one local food option a day, and fruit. Compared to its neighbours, the Ramada is rather small, which is quite nice, because it gives it a personal touch. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, across the street from Malecon2000, around the corner from a touristy area with restaurants and bars that cater to an international audience, and a short walk from 9 Octubre and the city's commercial centre.

The staff are always nice, professional and informative. The location is perfect. Breakfast is good. We have been regular guests over several years and we know that each visit will be a good one as far as staff and location.

The beds were hard and the pillows old. The shower was tiny. The property is dated, for example chipped tiles in the walls, door frayed at the bottom where it has been wet, etc. It is still clean and serviceable, but the repairs and upkeep are not keeping up with the rising rates.

We stay there frequently. We love the location and the convenience. Normally everything is GREAT.

We stay at Ramada frequently. The last two stays have not been up to the usual standards we have grown accustomed to. Last time we had a smaller room than we usually have, this time we had our normal comfy room, but there was hair on the blanket and the sheets had stains on them . The breakfast was also not as good as usual, the eggs were cold and there was less variety. We will stay again, to be sure, but with hopes that these last two visits were a temporary glitch and not a regular problem.

The hotel is located adjacent to the waterfront promenade and has views across the river. Our room was clean, the bed was firm and comfortable and bottled water was provided. The bathroom was clean, the Tv worked as did the air con. Hotel staff were helpful and at our request arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport for $10 US. We enjoyed walking all along the promenade and stopped at the Local Navy Yacht club for a drink, returning in the evening for a most delicious dinner and wonderful friendly service. We are yachtsmen but I believe anyone can visit. There is also a great coffee bar ( rather like Costa) on the prom (within the park) with an excellent selection of coffees and cake, + excellent Wi-Fi.

We tried dinner in the hotel restaurant but the meat dish with veg and mash was very disappointing. The mash was very thin on the plate as were the veg. Tried the Tirimisu desert but sadly it tasted if plastic cream…..

the place and specially the pool, we can use until night, also the breakfast is good and fresh, the cleaning is really good and safe to stay with the family specially with small kids.

The parking place can be part of the hotel, but not we have to pay it

Excellent location, in front of the Malecón 2000. The area is safe and the hotel is under a modernization process. Some rooms are still decadent, with outdated furniture, but I stayed in an excellent room.

Everything was fine during my stay.

The location is great. The malecón is literally across the street. Plenty of restaurants within a 2 minutes walk. The in house restaurant is really good as well:) And as our last stays I can say the staff is consistently top notch:)

There should be an available blanket for the rare occasion when Guayaquil is cold. Luckily my fiancee was there to keep each other warm:)

Although, apparently no one at the hotel speaks English, we had no issues with getting our wishes conveyed, acknowledged and fulfilled. ( Needed to get Covid-test ). They found a source and even arranged for a lab-tech to come to us in the hotel to do the test AND arranged for an almost 1/2 price discount.

The elevator wasn't working but the staff did drag our luggage to the room. ( Not so fortune when leaving at midnight)

The sauna and the bed, also the light system, the location and the breakfast that was the best!

Old infrastructure, it looks like we were in the 80s it needs a new face! Also the pool (which was the notice I choose the hotel) was closed and again it looked old and too small

Amazing staff! When they clean your room, they actually move the furniture! The breakfast buffet is really good. I stayed for about 1 month and found something every day along with the daily scrambled eggs. The location is amazing! Right across the street from the boardwalk or malecon.
