Beds were comfortable, and the area was pleasant and bright. Nice area near the university, grocery store, and Abya Yala Museum. Breakfast is great! Miguel was fantastic. He was truly a lifesaver. He helped instruct me on what to do when I got my phone stolen in Old Town Quito. He was also able to help us arrange transportation to our next destination after our plans got pushed behind due to the incident.

Initially, we were only given 1 towel between the two of us; we were able to ask for another, and were promptly given one. The TV was all static, but we didn't really need it!

Very friendly and helpfull staff. It is a small family hotel with a small garden. The rooms are simple but clean. The hotel offer a good breakfast with a menu. The reception has also a small shop The hotel is located in a quite and safe side street at the top end of the Mariscal district. A famous lively commercial and recreation district of Quito. Well connected by public transport nearby. If you travel on a budget but want to have some comfort and a hotel with a nice atmosphere this is a good place

Rooms were clean & spacious, beds we’re comfortable. Staff was amazing, willing to help with everything we needed. Host Miguel spoke English fluently. When checking out he asked us for suggestions on improving his property

This was a great place in Quito, the rooms are large and bright, breakfast was good. The staff were lovely and we felt safe at all times. The area is quiet and we slept well. There are restaurants close by. We had no problems walking to the buses and the metro to get into the old part of the city.

BEST SHOWER I’ve had in 6 months of travelling South America. Great location, quiet, good patio to hand your clothes and also spacious rooms. The breakfast is complete! You can choose between 5 different milks, oats, fruits and also eggs, bread and veggies. Very complete Brekky to set you up for the day. GREAT customer service and a lovely Fig tree

I wish I stayed longer!

Extremely well-managed and efficient; spotlessly clean; safe and secure; completely quiet at night. Calm and comfy. Very close to the action of Foch square but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

It's a small point, but the wifi-tho excellent in mostly all parts of the hotel-was a little spotty in my room, which was towards the back.

The quality of the room and the installations was exceptional. For the price that I paid I expected a lot less. It was clean, save, and everything was as advertised. I highly highly recommend Hotel Andino.

Location in excellent: safe, plenty of food options around, close enough to historic center, but not in it so that it is safe at night with plenty of entertainment within 10 min walk. Migel, the owner speaks good English, he is very accommodating, an din general very nice guy. It is also excellent bang for a buck.

Rooms are a bit outdated, but one would expect this given the price

miguel and his wife were the best hosts we’ve had in south america ! always in good mood (speak english) and he showed us where to go/ not go -breakfast was nice too, every day a little different -always clean around the house -hot water! for the vegans/vegetarians: an awesome vegan restaurant is near by

The owners and team are amazing! So friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful. It really feels like a family home. The best hospitality we have had on our trip. The room was really comfy and breakfast was great. Good location near lots of restaurants.
