The staff was extremely accommodating. I felt not only safe in the hotel and the neighborhood, but well looked after by the staff. I had a spectacular view of Cotopaxi from my room. See photo below.

The soundproofing in the room was inadequate. They had parties in the hotel on Friday and Saturday nights, and the noise was extremely loud in my room - that was after pulling down the blackout curtain. The thumping of the base, the band, the crowd singing were all very disturbing and it went on for hours.

Breakfast is bountiful and varied. Glorious shrimp ceviche with popcorn and plantains on the side. In addition, omelettes made to order. delicious bread. Strong coffee served by fleet wait staff. Churros with chocolate sauce. Fruit and yogurts. Room upgrade to business suite was appreciated. Storage of suitcases efficient and secure. Very much appreciate the filtered water station in the lobby area, to cut down on plastic waste. Easy to get cabs or walk to full service supermarket: SuperMaxi. Bar drinks and food reasonable (including shrimp ceviche ) as well as charcuterie board. Pool a delightful temperature.

Everything first class. Definitely one of the best hotels in Quito. The detailed management, the quality of the food and bar service, including a wonderful breakfast buffet which left nothing out, the quality of the room including a very comfortable bed, thermostatically controlled room, with proper thermostat, powerful shower, etc., made for a pleasant and memorable stay

There was nothing to complain about. This is an outstanding hotel, well run, and ideally located in the nation’s capital.

Great room, friendly staff. Good selection of food at breakfast though coffee machines not working. Restaurant menu varied and food good.

Main restaurant wasn't open for dinner, but able to order from menu and was served meal in the bar which was fine. However, the 20% discount available in the restaurant wasn't honoured in the bar even though we chose from the restaurant menu. The discount available in the bar was 10%. Had the restaurant been open we would have eaten there so felt we should have been entitled to the higher discount..

The size and confort of the bedroom.

Arriving by private car is not easy. Google send you to the back side of the building, the parking lot is not well indicated nor nice. We ended up lost in the parking lot for more than 20 min. Not the kind of arrival you expect in that kind of hotel. Room service is really slow...

Solid hotel in the US style. Very clean rooms, very attentive staff. We have been upgraded to a junior suite, which is huge. Overall good experience, but the hotel is a little bit worn. The breakfast was good but not extraordinary. There is a small shopping mall in the building with some shops and pharmacy.

The location is in a business district and not very convinient for Old Town sightseeing.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was just perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as could be. One staff member, Oscar, was particularly helpful when I was feeling unwell as I checked out. I gave me a bottle of water and then some tea. He walked me out to my taxi and made sure I was feeling better.

Breakfast was very diverse with high quality dishes. We also loved the pool and the beds were so cozy and nice to sleep on and everything else was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

We chose this hotel for our first trip to South America because we had brilliant experiences with a Swissotel in Izmir, Turkey - and we couldn't have made a better choice! Wonderful spacious suite with breathtaking fews, a fantastic pool, hall, bar, the executive lounge with lovely food and drink and an even better few - I don't even know where to start. It was all wonderful, but the best bit is the staff. Everybody is helpful, patient, so friendly and helpful that you feel like royalty. Especially the wonderful people at the executive lounge and at the reception deserve a mention - and the gentleman by the lift who always helped my wive finding her way. And the gorgeous people in the Spanish restaurant ... and and and. This hotel is a treat. Don't miss it!

Nothing - apart from that our stay was too short. We need to come back!

Location seemed good, many restaurants around the corner in what seems like safe walking distance. Staff was excellent, prompt response when we had problems with our safe. Facilities all seem very nice and a good breakfast.

Bed was hard but comfortable enough, had problem with the safe and the battery needed to be charged, which they handled immediately. It would be nice to have more plug outlets and the room was a bit dark. Minor things and had a nice 3 night stay.
