Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I didn't realize when I booked it there was no elevator and my husband needs one. They changed our room and in fact gave us a larger room and didn't charge us extra. Breakfast is very nice and it is cute how they provide a name tag at the table they set for you. The facility has good hot water but you just need to be patient for it to heat up (app.3-4 minutes). I would stay here again.

The building and the decorations were exquisitely, beautiful. There are a lovely gardens around and places to sit outside. It was quiet, given that it was at the corner of two streets, and you could hear words singing in the morning. The breakfast was very nice, and you could choose all sorts of things. I also appreciated that they were willing to store my bag for me while I went away for a few days and then returned.

It took a long time for the hot water to arrive in the shower, which was not really a problem, but at first, I didn’t know, and I thought there was no hot water. Also, it flooded the bathroom floor a bit, which again wasn’t a big problem.

The breakfasts were excellent - fresh fruit and juice, yogurt, great coffee, and many other items. The staff were very kind, knowledgeable and helpful, and spoke good English. The hotel was on a quiet street, and had attractive gardens and outdoor seating. The building was charming and had beautiful wooden structural details. I thought the price was very reasonable.

As someone from Canada, I found the room a bit cold, but noticed that in general there is not indoor heating in Quito. The hot water in the shower sometimes took a long time to arrive, but when I asked about this at the reception area, by the time I arrived at my room the water was hot right away. The shower curtain wasn't quite effective enough, and the floor always flooded a bit, but otherwise the bathroom was fine.

We loved staying in someplace indigenous to the country instead of typical name brand hotels you wake up in & could be anywhere in the world. No flavor …. All alike. The staff was helpful & nice. The breakfast was great including made to order eggs plus fresh amazing local fruit & juice. Location was was perfect. Well lit at night to go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. A very inexpensive Uber ride to & from anywhere in the old town.

Well located in the Mariscal area with many restaurants nearby, close to a supermarket. Only 4$ taxi-ride to the historical center. Nice place, well decorated, feels good to stay there. Amazing hosts, so helpful and available, with lots of good advices.

The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and in a great location. The breakfast was exceptional - more than just the standard eggs and a roll that many places serve. When we asked about breakfast on our last morning, we realized that we would have to leave before it was served. The staff prepared us bagged breakfasts without us even asking. So nice! And this is one of the few places we've stayed in the country that will actually accept a credit card instead of cash. Most claim their reader is broken so they won't have to accept a card.

Everything about the hotel is stellar - we've stayed there several times - except that this time we had a bed that was SMALL for two people. The photo of the triple room showed a different room with different sized beds than the room we were given.

The hotel was perfect and the staff was very accommodating! We got in on a late flight & requested an airport transfer to the hotel prior to us arriving. Our car was waiting and got us right to the hotel, check in was incredibly smooth which was appreciated after a late flight. Breakfast was waiting for us the next morning. When we informed them that we would be checking out at 5am they offered us a to-go breakfast. The hotel was clean and adorable. Perfect for our stay and needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in

It had character. The rooms were interesting shapes, the place had sitting areas with books around. Everything was really clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. Fairly well located for Metro (about 12 min walk) and for tram. Many nearby restaurants.

Construction noise during the day (stopped in the evening) & quiet at night.

Lovely little hotel. A gorgeous old building, well renovated into this boutique hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Our kids loved the loft bed.

We were told that the location was not very safe, but it seemed fine to us. It was a cheap Uber ride to anywhere in Quito.

Such a cute little hotel with nice features and friendly staff. The hotel helped us to store our bags when we went to Amazonas. The beds and pillows are very comfy. Excellent breakfast. Within walking distance to restaurants and supermarket though takes about 30 minutes to walk to historic district.

The water in the shower was not hot enough and the shower head sprays water in all directions so could be better quality.
