crowded and bad location

Everything was great! I felt so good there. All the staff is so friendly. They asked me every time: "How was your day?/Do you need something?" The hotel is clean, the location is very good, close to everything. I really liked to stay in this hotel because I could have contact with people around. The restaurant inside the hotel is awesome. Everything was amazing! Thank you so much! I hope I can return some day!🇪🇬🇧🇷

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, the manager (Kerlos) explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. The room very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the restaurant was very clean and well kept. In general, the stay at the New St.Catherine Hotel in Luxor was great and enjoyable, i recommended to others to enjoy it too.

They are very kind and helpful! they helped me do the tours in west and east bank in one day because I didn’t have much time. The location is perfect. Very close from the train station and the city downtown. The driver and guide named Sam speaks perfect English. I was so relieved since it is difficult to find here and helped a lot with everything, even when I needed to go for food or to a ATM. The waiter Mr. Bahaa was very kind and always asking on how the food could be improved for better service (the food was good). thanks so much for taking care of me and helped me get to know the best of the city in a short time. everyone here makes you feel secure !

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and were far more interested in giving a good impression of the hotel than earning tips. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. The AC was great. There was WiFi, but only of a standard expected in Luxor. If you are looking for a friendly budget place to stay in Luxor I would very much recommend here. The hotel has its own car for transfers to the airport. The driver was delightful and totally trustworthy.

The hotel is on a side street off the main road through Luxor, it was a little hard to find. It is just in the right after the Roman Catholic Monastery. There was a minaret close by which was a little loud with the windows open, but only background noise when shut.

Easy check-in, easy to access from the Go Bus station (also Luxor train station) (by walking only 10 min.) Clean and quiet room and the staff. They are really kind and helpful. I really appreciate them. From Karnak Temple, you can get in a minibus easily to the hotel. You don't need to hassle with taxi drivers or horse car riders. You can walk to Luxor Temple and the museum in less than 15 min.

Great peoples. Very flexible. Specially Carlos the general Manager is very professional. The breakfast was also good one. Though I missed my breakfast and they gave me breakfast even at 13:00 o’clock because they values customer more.

It was fairly simple yet comfortable and it was located next to the twisted fractions that I wanted to go to. The nice staff and free breakfast were nice additions to, and easily available by phone (both reception and kitchen). it’s at walking distance from the Luxor temple the Avenue of Spinxes and a 30 minute walk from the Karnak temple.

It’s not so much the property but the downsides that come from being located downtown including continuous loud noises especially from the hourly megaphone or speaking trumpet.

The staff were amazing, very kind, respectful and friendly. The location was super!

The only thing we didn't like and that is not the hotel's fault, is that there is a mosque right on the corner so at 5am you will have a loud prayer as an alarm. Otherwise, everything was super!

Hotel cleanliness and food quality

Loudspeakers in the mosque early in the morning and I know this is not a hotel problem. This is a general problem in most cities in Egypt
