We had such a great time at our little spot at El Xalli. We stayed 10 days! The staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant (sweet Vladimir!) We came with little ones including a baby. They were patient and accommodating to our wild little girls. One female staff member provided me with Neosporin for the baby and directions to a clinic. It was a perfect setting away from the fast moving pace of the other beach towns nearby. We felt like we were in a tropical tree house. The units were beautiful and comfortable. We had a couple of party people stay next to us one night with a ginormous speaker. We didn’t want to complain, even though we had a baby, but we didn’t have to. They were aware and apologetic without us having to make a big deal of it. Like others have mentioned, the only thing we wished for was more food options! Maybe by the next time we come! El Salvador was a dream to visit and El Xalli made it that much more special for us. Thanks everyone!

We would have loved a few hammocks!

The apartment was spacious and loved being able to walk out to the two pools. The pictures of the place are very accurate. Sunsets beautiful and staff very good. We liked that it was slightly remote as it gave us the vacation we were looking for. We had a car, so getting to beaches and Ruta de las Flores was convenient.

We had an initial challenge with the AC but it was promptly fixed. One night we also lost electricity (someone ran into a pole on the road) and we could still cook since the stove was gas and the staff kept us updated and even went to where incident occurred to get accurate updates. Also, there could have been more equipment in kitchen. Plenty of pots and pans, but no big bowls or colander (for example). We made do though

Wow! Where do I begin? We’ve travelled all over central and South America staying in a range of hotels and we all agreed this was one of our top favourite stays. The property is beautiful- hard to not take continuous pictures. Everyone working there is so lovely and goes out of their way to look after you. They contact you via WhatsApp before your stay to start to welcome you. Special shout out to the manager (sorry we didn’t catch your name!) who was super friendly and really looked after us (even finding me another book after I finished the one I brought with me) The rooms are spacious, spotless and ac is cool and water is warm. Unfortunately, we barely spent any time in the rooms as the pool area is so comfortable. Plenty of sun beds, two pools and shade if you want it. They’ve got basic food that’s still very good and you can order from their sister property if you can’t be bothered leaving the property (which was the case for us one day!) Also to mention- food and drinks are very affordable - we ate and drank (a lot) and it worked out to about £30 per day!

The only thing to note is that if you didn’t drive it can take a little while to get an uber to/from the property (even from el zonte). Not to worry, we were always able to get one! We thought if the property offered a shuttle a couple of times a day to el zonte it could be a great addition :)

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and communicative. On the first morning we had an issue with one of the bathrooms and they had a maintenance guy on hand within minutes. The apartment was spacious with a nice view of the garden and pool. There are two small pools, a great view of the sea, and a staffed bar. The hotel is small so the pool area never got more than 30% full during our visit.

We were aware of this in advance, so it wasn't an issue, but the hotel does not have beach access. It is on a hillside just above the main road and on the approach, the hotel doesn't look like much. From the rooms and the terraced area pool all you see is the ocean and some trees and the road noises were not an issue.

I loved everything about this property. Amenties were good apartment had everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Ac worked very good for the strong hot weather in El Salvador. Service was amazing, all the staff in this property is very helpful and accomodating unfortunately i only remember one name Alvaro was greatt and everyone alse. They have laundry service which was only 14$ for a bag of clothes. I arrived early and they served us by the pool in the meantime but room was ready by 2 instead of 3. I stayed here with my family. Also you have access to their other property called Michanti. Which is where they have the restaurant located. Overall would definitely return.

Everything! Our apartment was spacious and had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen etc. Comfy beds and pillows. Nice chill area. But what was really special were the staff and the gorgeous pool and lounging area. It was really incredible and we felt right at home. The staff were great and so helpful with everything! The drinks and cocktails were super tasty. Elvaro (the manager - hope that’s spelt correct) went above and beyond even offering us some lifts into the town. El zonte was a 20 minute walk away which was very easy to do! There were lots of cafes and restaurants and good surfing there! We had a perfect stay and would recommend it to everyone!

The property was incredible on every point! It was close enough to el Zonte but yet felt remote, the lush garden was absolutely gorgeous! We stay with our kid there and just wanted to lie down forever by the pool under the beautiful green canopy. Everything was comfortable and the staff was really helpful and wanted to make our stay the best possible. It was nice that you could order drinks and some food which was delivered from a near by restaurant too! The fact that there was only 6 appartement made it so cozy and did not feel busy or cluby at all. It was the perfect retreat and probably the best we stayed at in El Salvador. We were sad to leave the premises

Maybe a few more easy quick snack options could be great but honestly we could order anything within 30/45 min delivery time

Spacious and very clean apartment with a nice garden. Staff are nice and helpful.

No restaurant on the property only a bar. Stay 3days had 2 power outages once happened in the middle of the night, you just couldn’t see anything. The location is bit awkward, basically it is located in middle of nowhere and behind the major highway. It is not far from El Zonte and the beach, but if you don’t have your own vehicle, walking on the side of the highway could be very uncomfortable even dangerous. Overall it’s a nice stay but will work better with people who have their own car.

words can't express how beautiful this place is, and the staff are so sweet, especially Isella and the manager (Alvaro Castillo) of this place wowwww He is so professional and friendly, everyone makes you feel like you are home. Trust me when I say that this people treat you like royalty. The place has everything you need from hot water to A/C and the pool is amazing, you are in contact with nature but with all the comfortability you need. it is not front beach, but this place is a 10 out of 10 that you will not even miss it the view is amazing

The property is very well designed. The views are outstanding the outdoor furniture makes the atmosphere relaxing. The staff were excellent and always a pleasure to interact with. The drinks and bar food were great.

I failed to realize before the beginning of my stay that this property is on a mountain. While it is oceanfront, it’s not possible to walk to the beach. Additionally, the yoga area doesn’t have classes. It requires you to be a self practitioner.
