When compared to places in El Salvador, this hotel is fantastic. The town of La Libertad has little to be desired. This hotel sits a bit outside of the downtown area. You can walk for about 10 minutes on a terrible road full of traffic and dust to get to other restaurants, all with good food and the same menu. Fisherman's has a decent menu but were missing many dishes when we were there. The salads were good, the pizza was good but some of the dinner meals were not so nice. The breakfast, for us, was great. The views from the hotel are absolutely fantastic. There is a great beach with nice water and waves. The pool was nice. There was plenty of space to relax but the furniture was not so comfortable. Although our room had a kitchen area, there was no table to sit at. You either had to sit on the bed or a couch with a tiny coffee table. The chairs on the terrace were very uncomfortable. The check in was tedious, having to fill in a long form on your mobile phone, and took awhile. They want you to do everything on your phone through WhatsApp and, for me, I just did not want to carry my phone everywhere. The staff were very friendly.

I loved how clean it was. The location is a little far from the touristy para of La Libertad, but if you're driving, you can get around just fine. For the most part it's a very peaceful place, and it does have access to the beach. It's rocky, but there is a small area where there was sand. More than enough if you just want to quickly dip in the ocean. If not, the pool was also an option. This is where you would like to stay if you want privacy and away from the party scene, which is what my family and I were after. There ample parking as well. It was quite private and the staff was all lovely. Felt very safe. The food was well priced and made to order. The room itself was very comfortable. The bed was comfy, as was the sofa bed. The washrooms were well equipped, and there was a small electric kitchen, with a pot, pan and some dishes in case you want to cook something. If not, you can order something (with enough time) with the staff. They cleaned the rooms well, and the interior design of the place itself was lovely. The view from the balcony was also great.

This wasn't particularly the facilities' fault, but the neighboring guests in the next room were loud. The facility also let them know to keep it down, and apologized for any inconvenience. That's the only reason I don't give this a 10.

I love the room and facilities design. The privacy and security of the place. The staff were so friendly and professional. The food was amazing!! I will be back with my family 🥰

The apartment style, Staff is so friendly .

1. The size of the bed , too small for couples. 2. Some attitudes of the manager, we wanted a late check out even with extra charge [for 3 rooms]but he refused rotundently , giving us the excuse of a next checking in and we realized that there was NOT any. Recommendation : more flexibility PLEASE "costumers are always right!" Besides he kept talking about privacy , which it turned annoying. 3. Food can improve !

We absolutely loved Fishermans Resort Life. The entire place is absolutely gorgeous. The concept of Fishermans is a little different than other places and that is their biggest asset in our view. It’s a hotel but also an apartment complex with 6 rooms (so super private and intimate) and their own kitchen. You get all the services from a hotel, meaning you can order food and drinks, they clean your room daily, change the towels ect. but you don’t have to order food from them, you can bring your own food and beverages, which is usually not allowed in hotels, especially not in the really nice ones like this one. We absolutely love this concept. Because if you need anything, you just reach out to the staff and they take care of you but nobody is in your face. The hotel itself is so stylish and the apartments/rooms are fantastic. Very very spacious, you get the million dollar view from your room: palm trees, a beautiful pool and the ocean. The bed is super comfortable, the kitchen is very nice with basic equipment (but not fully equipped). It has a drip coffee machine, a toaster, plates, cups, mugs, wine glasses, bowls, cutlery, a cutting board and knives. In the little fridge, which is part of the kitchen, is a pitcher with water that you can refill as much as you need 24/7 from a water dispenser close to the reception right next to the kitchen, which we absolutely loved. Usually hotels in El Salvador don’t do that. A great bonus was that they provide a little bag of phenomenal Salvadorian coffee and paper filter. So every morning we made our own coffee and just loved it. The bathroom is also very spacious and very nice. The shower is big, with perfect water pressure. The rooms are super clean. Also the outdoor areas are maintained very well, they are super clean and very nice. The entire staff is super friendly and very helpful. If you need anything, everyone is doing their best to accommodate.

The property view and location is amazing. The boho theme is stunning, the property is clean and has a nice pool to enjoy. The staff was very welcoming and kind, they were always very attentive to our needs. The food was amazing the chef made everything fresh. Over all the property is a 10/10.

Not a dislike but a recommendation, having rugs in the side entrance by the pool. This will help not to have so much sand enter the location.

Fantastic place for relaxation and energy loading! The staff was really friendly and wanted to do everything for us. The breakfast was cooked by your order and tasted really good. The facilities also met our expectations.

We recommend the managers to provide some written information upon arrival on what can be done in the area. A few hangers in the room would benefit the guests.

communication before dekayed if you dont have whatsapp. Payment method is not convenient, but they make up for it in there hospitality, views and rooms.

main entrance/ entering the property is not the most crubside appealing, However once yiu get on the property you're not disappointed.

The property was beautiful, it had a great view of the beach. The staff was also really helpful and accommodating. We felt really secure, they have a private parking area with people guarding it. There’s also a private chef on the property and you can order ahead for breakfast and dinner. This property was also really close to sunset park and a grocery store as well as lots of local eating spots. Would definitely stay here again.

My bed was a bit stiff and uncomfortable. However that’s the only bad thing I have to say about this place.

Intimate, private, beautiful gardens/setting, beach view, staff make you feel at home immediately.

I liked it overall. A minor point could be limited restaurant/bar service times, (understandable in a hotel this size, but given its a bit remotely located can be a bit inconvenient).
