The room and the grounds were really lovely. The breakfast staff were really friendly and helpful as were reception and security. The decor was very nice and the grounds clearly well looked after.

The breakfast itself wasn’t the nicest we’ve had. To get to/from the town after sunset means walking in the dark for a fair portion of the journey, and you have to walk along the main road where the traffic speeds by very quickly.

We liked the location, away from busy center , but only short walking distance to the beach and center El Tunco. Hotel is pretty new and clean. The stuff was very friendly and polite . Reasonable price too. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is situated near the busy road , so bit noisy from the cars , but it did make our stay less comfortable

The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed, a lounge chair, closet, and a table. There was a lot of natural lighting with privacy curtains. The bathroom was clean with a charming shower. The grounds had gardens with many plants and nature. I enjoyed my stay. the hotel is a 15 minute walk from El Tunco, a nice safe and walk. The staff was exceptional, with suggesting places for me to visit with a tour guide.

Last minute reservation and was able to find this wonderful cozy place Inexpensive and spacious rooms, tasty breakfast and great service overall 😊 my room was spotless with ac and fast internet. I got all the peace and tranquility I was looking for. I give it a 10 star ⭐️ and will definitely be coming back in the near future

Pretty and spacious room, good shower, super comfortable bed, tastefully decorated. Good version of the local breakfast. Access to a shared fridge.

No access to filtered water. The big windows reflect the light and a bird crashed into one of them on our last day that was really sad to see. There could be a solution to hang some things on the balcony that birds can see.

Lovely helpful staff, nice room, beautiful garden, good quiet location, free breakfast and water.

The bathroom was stuffy and had a weird (possibly damp) smell as there is no window or air flow system. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from town down some dark back roads, so I do not recommend if you are a solo traveller. The WiFi worked sometimes. The pillows were thin and lumpy.

I enjoyed staying at hotel el viajero very much! My initial booking was for three nights, but I ended up staying for two additional weeks. The breakfast (especially the ranchero) was very good as well. It's a short walk to El Tunco and the beach from here.
