My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Garten Hotel. The property was clean, stylish, and well-maintained. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we especially appreciated the great hospitality from the staff. The bar was a fun spot to unwind in the evenings, and the breakfast was delicious each morning

One thing we would have liked is the option for late-night meals or snacks within the hotel. After a long day, it would have been nice to have more food choices available later in the evening (after hours)

All of the staff at Garten Hotel were incredible. Super friendly, very attentive, prompt, and always helpful. Fantastic people. The hotel is in a beautiful location, with a gorgeous view from the outdoor dining area. We stayed in one of the Villas, which is less than 1km / 0.5 mile away from the main hotel. The hotel was very helpful with any request, like finding a surfing instructor on short notice.

The walk between the Villa and main hotel is through a small road / alleyway, which is not particularly nice looking or nice smelling, but it felt perfectly safe, and it's a short walk. Once we arrived, we learned that El Zonte is a relatively quiet beach, with not many businesses, restaurants, or activities. Next time we may try Tunco Beach, which seems to have a lot more going on at night.

Loved the villas! I booked one night to celebrate my mother’s birthday. She’s very picky about hotels so it pleased me that she loved everything about Garten and is eager to return soon. don’t have enough nice words to say about the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful!

Just to provide ideas of improvement: We all thought it would be cool if a small table is included in the villas next to the pool. it would help in case a guest wants to eat lunch/dinner but still interact with people in the pool.

Kind and friendly staff. Much improved from my first visit a few years ago. Some of the nicest people in El Zonte, felt at home! Beautiful views from the pool, and amazing beach right in front of the Hotel. Had the nicest time.

The breakfast selection. A bit bland and uncreative, but this is coming from a couple that absolutely loves breakfast. It does the job for sure, and everything else was pitch perfect! Make sure you order the breaded fish with almonds, it's absolutely delicious.

the villa was very comfortable in size and amenities. I appreciated the staff's very welcoming demeanor. The property was very nice and luxurious. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in while visiting El Salvador.

Massage experience could have been better. The therapist was great but the room was very basic, there was no music, very simple/basic.

Amazing place and service. Everyone was friendly, helpful and attentive. The place was gorgeous, amazing weather and the food great too.

Only small thing was the villa didn't feel as private as expected because the door is very see-through.

Very beautiful , clean, great vibes. Beach location is great for swimming. Food was awesome especially the red snapper. This hotel has a great view. The penthouse suite is just wonderful!

Wish they had more ocean view rooms like penthouse.

I Love the bar by the pool and the staff is Lovely.

The bathrooms weren’t cleaned really good upon check in.
