Excellent location for visiting the Gorafe Desert (megalithic geo park) Sierra Nevada and Granada area. Well maintained, pleasant gardens surround the cave houses with outdoor seating and views of the mountains. Nice small pool area with sun loungers and bar.

We felt the property was a bit tired, particularly the bathroom. Also, the cleaning needs more attention as the floor was not very clean (sticky) and we found some pieces of food under the kitchen counter from previous occupants. The shower head was in dire need of a deep clean or replacement as it sprayed everywhere. This was a big problem as there was no shower curtain! We reported to the owner before we left so hopefully it's been rectified by now.

Totally unique experience and cool property. The location was very quiet and with a great layout. Each unit had a comfortable outdoor space, and the units were spacious. The amenities in the units were ample had we chosen to stay longer than 2 days. The restaurant, breakfast space, and pool were well attended and clean. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The bathroom was private and large with a huge walk-in shower. The small kitchen was an added bonus.

The furniture could use an upgrade, and the room would benefit from a coffee maker. We also stayed there in the heat of the summer and would have liked a fan to move the air around.

The location of cave 16 is superb, wonderful views, lovely grassy area and a big tree for shade. The cave was very basic, comfortable and clean with a good supply of hot water. We had a simple breakfast with lovely coffee. We had dinner in the restaurant which was superb. At all times the management team and other staff were happy and obliging. Our little dog was happy and the on- site dog is lovely.

We struggle to think of anything.

This is a quirky, unusual property with a lovely old world ambiance. Cooking facilities were simple but effective. A lovely comfortable bed and lounge area. There is no air con or WiFi in the caves which is totally expected and in our opinion, acceptable (WiFi is available in the bar/restaurant area should you require it) Parking is good and the caves are easy to find. There is a small outdoor pool and several very friendly cats and dogs. Breakfast was excellent.

Nothing it was a unique place.

Located some 5 Km outside Guadix but with some bar and restaurant facilities in the nearby Esfiliana and Alcudia de Guadix villages. Good continental breakfast, friendly staff, lovely setting overlooking valley and other cave dwellings. Our property was a suite with living area, bathroom, link lobby and bedroom - all within the cave, Did not use restaurant on site but it has a good menu. Not cheap but in line with others in the area, Remember the accommodation is a cave and provides a good insight to what you could expect if you lived in one. It is not the same as a normal hotel experience but that is the appeal of a stay here. The kids on site seemed to love it. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We prefer to see mattress protectors on hotel beds. The literature provided in the rooms is very interesting and comprehensive, giving an insight into the history of this complex and cave dwelling in general. However, the booklets are dated pre covid and would benefit from an update and reprint.

Fantastic place in the countryside. Very quiet. Country style furniture. Plenty of space for parking etc.

For me it is always the same small things whereever I stay. Like some very bright white LED lights and perfume in the toiletpaper and trashbin bags. This is the trend everywhere. But these are small things I can deal with.

It's a very unique experience, the cueva takes you back to a different time. The surronding nature and complex are lovely and it's so pieceful. Check in and check kut were smooth.

Didn't have any sugar, solt, oil nor coffiee in the kitchen and dishes were old and worn down. However, this wasn't a problem as we got everything we needed from the restaurant in the complex.

A cozy cave with a kitchen, heating and a fireplace, for which you could buy wood at the reception. Beautiful views to Sierra Nevada, and a good base for exploring the Guadix and Gorafe areas.

The shower cabin was missing a door.

Nice location, close to Guadix and other view/visit points in the region. Beautiful surroundings, quiet place, cave houses with small front gardens and nicely and tidy organized complex. Ideal for a couple of days to discover the region.

Nice place to stay with interesting interior. Pool was available all the time. There is a place to leave the car. Light breakfast available. Since it is a cave, the room is cool and you have to expect a specific air.
