It was a small and well managed hotel in a good location, staff was mostly friendly and willing to help. Our 3 year old son was with us and I requested a crib, but they offered to upgrade the room ( free of charge) instead.

One breakfas episode ruined the whole experience. The child didn't eat much in the morning, so I wrapped a croissant in a napkin, took an apple, and a pear to feed him later, but the waiter didn't let me take it with me. It was the first time in my life and I stayed in a lot of different hotels. Didn't know how to react. What kind of hote does that? I paid for the food, why should I not be able to take it with me? His justification was that it's already 10:30AM, and breakfast was closing. We were considering extending the stay but decided to leave after this ridiculous episode.

The room was decently sized and though the decor was plain, one doesn't really go to Barcelona to hole oneself up in one's hotel room. The breakfast was inexpensive and had a broad assortment of options, though they didn't vary much. The neighborhood was decent with dining and supermarket options both nearby and farther up in the neighborhood of Sarrià. The hotel is away from the bustle of the city center, though with reasonable transit options.

Although the location is about a 10 minute walk from metro, that's all uphill. Additionally, the lobby is accessed from the street down a set of stone-paved outdoor stairs or via a steep driveway. There is additionally a step up into the lobby, and the elevator is tight with a heavy external door on each floor. Guests with mobility issues might want to take these factors into consideration.

We had a great stay! The hotel is located in an excellent neighborhood — quiet, safe, and very pleasant to walk around. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They offered great service, including complimentary cold water and sweets, and even let me work from the lobby after check-out, which I really appreciated. 💙

The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the main tourist attractions, so be prepared for some extra travel time if sightseeing is your priority. The price is on the higher side, but to be fair, that’s mostly due to the city itself being quite expensive. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you value comfort, kindness, and a peaceful environment over being right in the middle of the tourist zones.

Very nice and affordable hotel, location is a bit far from touristic spots but has good metro/bus connections, for me it was perfect due to business engagements. Single room was small but perfect for a business stay, bed was big. The staff are amazing and really make the stay as smooth as can be. I loved the welcome chocolattes and the utility package in the room - especially the comb, as I forgot mine. They didn't have umbrellas, but directed me to a nearby shop where I bought one cheaply. Breakfast is good.

Not too far from Av. Diagonal and access to Barcelona's extensive metro service, Bonanova Park was the best value I could find for my stay in Barcelona this time.... Although, if you miss the last metro or bus connection, it's quite an uphill walk from Placa Espanya. Chocolates and numerous bottles of water (provided gratis) in the chiller were most welcome after a long day of travelling prior to check-in. Friendly receptionist with adequate English language skills. A decent selection of breakfast fare might have benefited from the addition of some more choice of fruit.

Barcelona appears to have become extraordinarily expensive to visit. Value for money is, I suppose, relative - and, as I've said, this was the best price I could find for Barcelona this time. That said, however, this stay was extraordinarily expensive for the standard of hotel. I've had much better value for money in better located and much higher spec properties in the past - albeit prior to the pandemic closedown of tourism.

Service outstanding; both reception and cleaning - 5 stars. Clean, charming hotel, safe location and place, excellent environment. Close to shops, restaurants, public transportation.

The walls of the hotel are way too thin. Guests can easily hear each other: from snoring to bathroom time. I loved everything about my hotel stay except that. And for that reason, I won’t go back. But, I am so grateful for my time there. Lovely staff and vibe.

Really nice hotel in calm and beautiful part of Barcelona, very close to metro and bus stops, with cute shops nearby. Staff is great, very helpful and smiley. Our room was always clean, we had enough space to keep our things and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and I don't understand other guests' complaints about its monotony - you can have different options every morning. Kudos to the very nice man in the breakfast room :)

I guess the thin walls - you could hear sounds from other rooms as they were right next to you, but first: after a long day of Barcelona sightseeing you don't really care and second: there is not much that can be done with it. It is really small disadvantage that disappears when you think about this nice place :)

The staff were fabulous, very helpful with recommendations. We were given a lovely green fan and a box of dark chocolates as part of our check in. This was a lovely touch. There were also some complimentary bottles of water in the room fridge - very welcomed upon arrival. Nearest train station was Maria Cristina which was only a couple of stops away From Sans

The staff is really nice and friendly. The rooms are nice, really clean and generally fits your needs. It is a bit far from city center but it has several stations nearby and you can access city center in around 20 mins. It was a bit pricey but I guess that is because of it being in Barcelona. Overall would definetly recommend if you are just looking for a place to stay the night, just don't expect anything fancy
