Staff were lovely and friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. Lovely fresh breakfast every morning with the option of eggs and bacon. Nice coffee ☕️ 😋 I read a lot of reviews regarding the location and street outside. This place was very easy to find 2 min walk off Ramblas. The old part. Beautiful old building with a huge wooden door. Casa Lirio signed on the door. Every night, the street outside was steamed cleaned by their local authority. So spotless when you woke up. If you want a new area, then maybe the oldest part of Barcelona isn't for you. We personally love these buildings and the historical area. Turn left outside, and you're 5 min walk to sea front. Rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfy with 100% cotton sheets and bedding. The rooms were cleaned and fresh towels daily. Hot power shower. We had a little balcony that overlooked the street. Netflix TV. I'd like to say a big thank you to the lovely young lady who worked in the kitchen every morning. Always smiling and friendly. We stayed 5 nights and had a lovely continental breakfast every morning. Thanks all, we will definitely stay here again..

I'm still reeling from our adventure from Tenerife to Barcelona with my trusty service dog, G. Today was a training day, and we faced some unexpected challenges 😊. Despite the law requiring taxis to accommodate service dogs, none would take us, so we braved the 35° sun and walked 3 miles to the Grimaldi ferry terminal, only to discover the ferry wasn't sailing until tomorrow. It felt like navigating the Stone Age in this age of fancy tech! 🙄 "After booking a room without knowing what to expect, G and I walked for 3 hours, with G showing incredible strength and honor by staying by my side and responding to every command. When we arrived at the hotel, I was relieved to find a comfortable space, but things got complicated when I realized there was no concierge. As a dyslexic person who struggles with tech, I was grateful when a number popped up, and I got connected with Antonella - an absolute angel! She patiently guided me through the complexities of the system and got me settled into my room quickly. "Antonella's kindness and expertise were a beacon of hope, and the entire team at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure G and I were comfortable and protected for the night. A huge thank you to Antonella and the entire team for your exceptional service and compassion. You're on the right voyage, and I'm grateful to have encountered such angels 🙏." The hotel was in a great location right next to La Rambla and the harbour. The hotel was easy to find on foot after taking the airport bus and walking from Plaça Catalunya even though we arrived at midnight. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable and we paid a little bit extra for a balcony which was worth it. We loved the garden terrace with the old fountain and the communal kitchen with proper coffee machines and a microwave was fantastic. Staff were very friendly. The hotel had a lovely charming feel to it and we felt it was good value for money.

This hotel was perfect for our visit to Barcelona! It is located in the Gothic Quarter, a short walk to the beautiful Plaça Reial where we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. It is also close to a metro station and an ideal spot to explore the city from. The hotel is comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, and the staff are friendly. It is only 2 stars so this is a basic hotel at a budget price. But that’s how we love to travel! We are not luxury travellers and for those who are similar, we highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing. Some reviewers described the rooms as dark but we booked a deluxe room with French doors opening onto a balcony that overlooks the lower patio. It was lovely and bright.

Modern, clean, comfortable, great location and friendly staff. Even got free welcome drinks which is a nice gesture :)

It was a good location in the Gothic District. The breakfast was really good, staff was very nice, it’s close to a market, pharmacy, a bakery. It had a nice little courtyard out back.

We wished our room had a window. You have to buzz in on the intercom to get in the front door when you first get there, the front desk is one floor up, you’re given 4 keys, one for front door, one for each floor and one for your room. Front desk is only open from 10am to 6pm.

Everything!! The location was perfect The bed was huge, huge! And comfortable too The bath in the room was so comfortable and a nice addition to the room Loved our little balcony it was perfect A cot was given to us for baby Love the area with the tea and coffee but also kettle and microwave ( it’s like a communal kitchen/living room) Everything was clean and tidy Quick check in Left our luggage day if check out Plenty of toilets throughout the building too, just amazing. There’s a lift but it’s tiny

The roof terrace is beautiful to sit and relax. Although we didn’t use it we liked that they had a kettle, coffee machine (with tea bags and coffee pods - Free) and microwave in a communal area on the floor you are staying on. Location was good with popular food spots and bars close by. The Metro is within walking distance along with many attractions. Convenient store just at the end of the road for drinks, water and snacks. The property was clean and always smelt nice.

Our room didn’t have much natural light but it wasn’t a deal breaker as we didn’t spend much time in the room.

The location was great. We wanted a hotel near the Gothic quarter , and it was as advertised, very close to La Rambla but without the noise. There were many restaurants in the little alleys throughout the quarter as well as on La Rambla. The rooms were clean and quite large for a European hotel. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful I was amazed at how good their English was. It is within walking distance to many thinks, La Rambla, the Colu. Us statue and the waterfront. It is on the edge of the Gothic quarter close to all of the little ally ways I would definitely stay there again. As a matter of fact, we are going back next year and will book there again.

The property can be hard to find as the sign is very small and is in the alleyway. Some cab drivers didn’t know where it was, but that is not unusual for Europe. There is an Irish pub nearby, so we gave them that as a landmark. It is a great little pub where the locals hang on. It is not the one on La Rambla, which is not as good.. .

Stayed overnight prior to boarding a cruise. Location was perfect, less then 2 miles from the cruise port. Staff helped get us set up with transportation to the port the next morning. Easy area to walk with plenty of local restaurants and a safe, enjoyable stroll around the marina and area. Veranda at the hotel was inviting and a great place to sit and enjoy the last part of the day. Staff was very friendly and attentive to all of our questions. Fresh breakfast was included for Saturday morning and was excellent. Enjoyed our short stay and it exceeded our expectations!
