The space was great… The bathrooms were clean and modern as was the kitchen. Location was good. The grandkids loved the pool and the outdoor space on the roof. Halfway through our stay, housekeeping brought us fresh towels. That was really great.

We encountered somewhat dirty floors when we arrived. They were promptly clean. It was explained to us that Barcelona suffers from chronic dust. The floors were fine after being cleaned I guess twice. Consider upgrading the furniture in the living room. We were in 22. The furniture was old and looked like something from your grandma’s house.

The best thing about this apartment is the location. It is well placed for everything , there are supermarkets and independent food shops all within minutes walk.. The harbour is just across the road, beach is about 25 mins walk. Abundance of bars, restaurants close by for the evening. The apartment was clean and tidy. The Rooftop area is a bonus with the pool to dip in to to cool off. Apartment felt very secure, containee within locked gates in the evening, we felt safe at all times. Staff communication was excellent throughout the booking process and whilst we were there. The BCN staff are available to help with any queries, problems, offer recommendations and arrange transfers etc. They were welcoming at the office when we needed to leave our cases.

We encrusted a few issues but these were sorted out quickly. Our safe broke and needed to be replaced, however this was sorted quickly. We also struggled to access the apartment, the lock was quite tricky and it had a bit of a knack to it, this was apartment 22. There is nowhere to store suitcases on site if you arrive early or late, you are able to leave these in the offices but the office is about a 30 min walk. Not a major issue, but just a bit of an inconvenience .

The location is perfect, and very close to the metro and lots of activities. The staff here is phenomenal! The communication starts well in advance and they were available to help. They went above and beyond to help us coordinate travel to/from the airport, but also to make recommendations for locations near by. The apartment was perfect, clean and had everything we needed with nice touches.

The accommodation was very spacious and handy having two toilets, perfect as well with the amount of cutlery that was available for all 8 guests. Perfect short walk to the metro and right next to a super market. Additionally it was gated access and felt very safe and secure.

The pool was a bit smaller than it looks in photos but it was perfect to dunk into to cure a hangover.

The hosts were in regular (but not too regular) correspondence before we arrived, ensuring we knew how to register ourselves with the authorities, how to pay tourist tax, etc., if we needed any help / transfers, and how to enter the air conditioned property. They were excellent, even though it was clearly a small team, they were all equally polite, helpful, and we never had to explain ourselves more than once: they were able to help with advice in a very clear and responsive way. They were not intrusive at all. We thought that having the cooling pool was a 'nice to have' fun gimmick but not mandatory - how wrong we were, we used it and the roof terrace every day in the 34 degree heat. The appartment was well laid out, clean, well decorated and furnished and quiet - yet just three minutes from Las Ramblas - perfect for our stay of two adults and four young teenagers.

Honestly, there is nothing we did not like. We could suggest only two very minor improvements: a few more hooks in the bedrooms would be nice and whilst dishwasher and laundry tables were left, which was great, a small pack of salt/pepper, milk, cooking oil, might not go amiss.

The location was great, so close to the metro for easy access to see local sites as well as located in the heart of the gothic quarter. We were able to walk through the streets to get a great vibe of the city, so many little local eateries close to the apartment.

We were really close to neighbours so had to be conscious about noise and opening curtains / windows.

The staff were fantastic, prompt to respond and helpful. The property was immaculate and well appointed. The location was excellent. Security was very good so the property is suitable for people who rank security high on their list.

I am unsure if this is typical of European rental apartments so I am sorry if I don't have an understanding of the usual items in a rental apartment. We bought washing up liquid for dishes and clothes which I think is a waste given that we only used a little. It would be more sensible to have been provided by the apartment.

Location in Bari Gotic was ideal for seeing the harbor, aquarium, maritime museum, and the old city. The metro was nearby. Pastry shops, restaurants, and a grocery store were near. The kitchen made it easy to have breakfast and dinner in the apartment when we were tired from sightseeing.

The view is to an alley and nearby apartment building. Nothing can be done about that. Just sleep and shower in the apartment, then enjoy Barcelona.

We enjoyed the location of the apartment. It was clean and as pictured on Booking. The client service (by WhatsApp or Booking) was impeccable: they answered quickly and always tried to help us.

We were disappointed by the high level of humidity, the non soundproof walls (we heard the neighbors) and the loss of electricity (for a few seconds) while we were cooking.

Office/bell desk for luggage hold location is not onsite (if you get in earlier than check in or want to spend day out and about upon check out). This was a significant inconvenience that we could have planned for had it been known. Elevator was very small.
