Bed was comfortable, shower was ok but not the highest water pressure. Airco seemed old but working very well and keeping the room consistently cool. Breakfast was good, bit more than basic but enough to keep you satisfied. Best part was barrista coffee that elevated the experience. Location of the hotel is great, 100m from Drassenes metro station (metro trip from airport is 1h with a line switch at Zona Universitaria), La Rambla within 3 min walk.

Room 402 with balcony, basic room with rather small bathroom, you pass by toilet cubicle to get to the shower cubicle. The sink and mirror are in the room, right next to a 2 burner cooking plate. Overall it's not bad, just a bit funny. But all is still very functional.

The staff were pleasant & accommodating from check in to check out. There is a good luggage room for early arrivals & late departures. The room was a good size with a good shower although storage space was limited so would be tight if staying more than 2/3 nights. The hotel is perfectly situated 2 minutes walk from La Ramblas.

It was interesting that a small kitchen was in each room but no pots or utensils to cook with. Similarly, a kettle & mugs were provided but no tea, coffee or milk (something that is standard in most hotels). The photographs of the hotel show a pool table. This it transpires is just for show as it actually has no pockets! We never had a drink in the hotel bar as whenever we returned from dinner in the evening it was closed. It would have been nice to get a nightcap before bed.

Great location of the hotel - it's close to the metro and within walking distance of the main sights. We liked the stylish design of the reception and bar in the spirit of the sixties and the various fun-facts on the room doors made our stay more interesting. As a Slovakian girl, I was very pleasantly surprised by the young Slovakian man at the reception who gave us advice on where to go sightseeing in Barcelona.

Although the hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre, it also meant constant hustle and bustle. Everything from the street could be heard in our room day and night, which was especially disruptive to a restful night's sleep.

Really enjoyed my stay. Super location, around the corner from the metro (which is v easy to use) and walking distance to lots of attractions. I would advise walking through La Rambla rather than spending time there. Not my thing! Got a room upgrade, which was appreciated, nice to have a balcony. Large spacious room. Took breakfast 2 out of the 3 days, it's quite good. Would recommend for everyone and suited my needs as a solo traveller also.

As it's close to La Rambla area there are some homeless people around but that is the same in every major city. Felt v safe overall!

Staff were very friendly and helpful with dinner reservations and suggestions, directions etc. We received an upgraded room at check in. Room was small but functional and very clean. Location was great for access to la Rambla, shops, restaurants and tours. Very Close to Drassne metro station. Air conditioner was a little temperamental but staff were able to get us sorted out. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, a good selection of fresh fruit, pastries and breads, cheeses and meats, eggs, bacon. Fresh coffee and GREAT cappuccino. Lobby bar was great for cocktails and people watching, really enjoyed the sangria. Hotel is Close to cruise ship docks. Would recommend it and would stay here again.

Another chair in room so we could both sit down would be nice. Bed was a little too firm for our liking but was clean, no tissues or conditioner available in the room.

We stayed at Sixties Hotel in Barcelona and, overall, had a good experience. The location is absolutely perfect—right near all the main attractions and just a 2 min walk to the Drassanes metro station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. However, when we first arrived late in the evening, we were given a room that was quite small, dark, and not very comfortable. The window was covered with foil, and when we opened it, it faced directly onto another building, which was disappointing. The next day, we asked for a room with more natural light, and the staff was very accommodating, quickly helping us switch rooms. We’re so glad we asked, as the new room made a big difference to our stay. The staff throughout our stay was pleasant, friendly, and always willing to help with any questions we had. The hotel is not luxurious, but for the price, it offers decent value. Rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided every day, which was appreciated. In summary, while the initial room wasn’t great, the excellent location and helpful staff made up for it. For the value, it’s a solid choice for anyone visiting Barcelona.

Fantastic Stay for a Large Group! We stayed at 60s Hotel in Barcelona the night before our cruise, and from start to finish, the experience was seamless. Booking for a large group (nine rooms, 30 people) could have been challenging, but Tatiana in reservations made the process incredibly easy and efficient. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised that some of our rooms were already ready, even though we arrived early. The hotel also accommodated us by allowing luggage storage in the rooms that were available, which was a huge help. The location is fantastic—just a five-minute walk from the bustling Las Ramblas area of Barcelona. Breakfast was fabulous, with a great selection to start the day. You can tell the hotel is highly regarded by locals, as the restaurant and bar were always busy with Spanish guests enjoying the food and drinks—a great sign of quality and authenticity. The rooms were spotless and well laid out, with very comfortable beds. We had a little kitchenette in our room, which was a lovely bonus. While the cooker unit couldn’t be used for obvious reasons, the large fridge and sink were very welcome, especially as we were traveling with a young baby. The entire stay was really relaxing, and the hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable night before our cruise. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for both small and large groups!

It is a nice place 1 min of walk from Ramblas and Metro. Good breakfast. The parking is just the next building (25 euros per 25). The staff is very helpful, they agreed to keep our luggage till our coming back from a short trip.

There was a problem with payment. The hotel takes digital security really seriously. I booked with the husband’s card. The booking was cancelled twice. Even when I confirmed the details of the card. I called to the hotel, and they added the name of the husband to the booking, so the issue was successfully resolved😀

The location just off La Rambla and near to Drassanes metro stop were both big pluses. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely reception area with quirky 60’s memorabilia.

The air conditioning unit was incredibly noisy and we couldn’t use it overnight for that reason. The room was hot as a result. Some of the decor in our room was very tired looking and definitely needed to be improved. The bathroom door was badly water damaged on the bottom and looked horrible plus there was a leak in the bathroom around the toilet which smelt unpleasant. The fridge door didn’t close properly so we had to prop something heavy against it.
