The staff were excellent. Extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Abraham. The room, although small (typical for the older buildings in Barcelona so to be expected), was very well decorated and the facilities were great. Very nice coffee machine! Also the provided toiletries were of a high standard. I was particularly pleased with the toothpaste and toothbrush kit and comb as my husband forgot his! We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment about that! We were very pleased with our stay.

There was very little street noise, despite being so central, however the noise from the corridor was quite loud. I am not sure if this was because we were staying in an accessible bedroom. The door was automatic (great for anyone with a disability) but because of this it was wider and had quite a large gap underneath. Possibly the other rooms have doors that fit more tightly and sounds from outside would not be so audible.

Comfortable slightly small room with lovely big bathroom fabulous coffee machine provided. Also love that a steam wand was supplied. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location in the Gothic quarter close to restaurants, attractions and convenience stores.

No toilet brush no vanity mirror no flannel/face washer no shower cap. A bit more bench space would be nice. Had to carry suitcases up steps from street to lobby. Needs a ramp. No little bar in lobby. Breakfast was disappointing. Not a lot of option when comparing to other Eurostars. Though excellent location taxi dropped us off a 13 minute walk away on rough surface footpaths in the heat. Departure day the road was closed for a celebration and we had to walk with luggage again to try and hail a taxi to the airport.

It was a great experience, this hotel is worth staying there. The location is super, the service is excellent, all employees are very polite, welcoming and ready to help with any issue. I especially want to note the work Nicole and Abraham from reception desk ,I was greeted very warmly, for the first time I encountered such incredible care for the guest. Special thanks Nicole for the full support from the usual question "where to watch a flamenco show" to sending me to the airport. Special thanks for the help with the taxi, I was in a hurry and intelligence and speed Nicole conquered my heart. Thanks to this, I got to the airport on time and my journey was stress-free. Breakfasts are excellent, that's enough. The hotel is very clean .The verdict is 10/10, keep it up. I recommend it 100% to everyone. I will enjoy staying at this hotel again.

The friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency of the staff. The location, also very close to the Jaume-I metro station.

Initially, I was put in a room on the 6th floor. Rooms on the 6th floor are claustrophobic, all very small, with 'roof-windows' (underside starts well above 1.80 meters) which cannot stay open for fresh air. Since I would stay there for a whole week, I immediately complained and was put (by the very helpful staff!) in a much more comfortable room the next day. Travellers should not accept a room on the 6th floor, especially not for those prices. Staying in a room on the 2nd floor for the next 6 nights, I had a most enjoyable stay for the remainder of the week.

Reception staff are very professional, very helpful, and anything you need, they would help. The room is cleaned every day, and bed sheets and towels changed every day. Had buffet breakfast most morning stayed 7 days, great selection of fruit, cheeses, meats, cearl, coffe and one day the bacon and sausage will meet English breakfast standards :) Hotel is in a great location. Quickly walk to the beach, or the park, zoo, lots of restaurants, bars, gallery's, especially the hotel is right next to a great Roman wall.

Out of the hotels control, the road outside the hotel was dug up, which made it a little difficult to cross.

Excellent hotel that I'll definitely be booking again anytime I go to Barcelona. It's very central and has a metro just across the road that goes to all the major places. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Our room was immaculate & beautiful with a very comfortable bed and gorgeous views of the old Roman wall. Plenty of room and we didn't hear any noises at all even though it is in the centre of the Gothic Quarter. Cleaners came everyday and did an amazing job. Thank you!

The hotel is located in the central part, in the Gothic quarter, within easy reach of all sights and the sea. Perfect cleanliness, daily change of towels, hygiene accessories, bar in the room and deep beds make this beautiful hotel. Breakfast was a special experience...it started with a perfect cup of coffee, continued with different types of sunkis and cured meats, cheeses, eggs, bacon, hot dogs, and ended with sweet croissants, pies, muffins, strudel, fruit and fruit salad. For a fresh start to the day, the offer included juices, cereals and gluten-free products.... The wonderful, smiling staff deserve the highest marks, especially the ladies who tirelessly take care of the cleanliness of the hotel.

Loved staying in this property with my family. This hotel is perfectly located in between the Gothic Quarter and El Born. Super easy location to get taxis and other mode of transportation. Daniela B. at the front desk went above and beyond assisting us with all our requests and made our stay extra special. Daniela made reservations for us for the Flamenco shows which we highly recommend. Loved the way the housekeeping staff greeted us each day and checked on us to see if we needed anything. If I could rate this place 6 stars, I would.

Conveniently located about a 2 minute walk to the underground station and within about 5 minutes walk to restaurants and shops. Very clean room, had all toiletries and toothbrush provided and big fluffy towels. Bed very comfy. Breakfast was €15pp. Mainly continental with the usual fruit, pastries, cold meat, cheese and yogurts. Only hot food was bacon and scrambled eggs. Fruit juice and tea/coffee overall it was edible.

Only downside was the room was extremely warm, asked at reception about the air conditioning(we went in March) they said the whole building is set with the heating on. Only option was to reduce the fan speed of the heat and open the windows wide! This then meant we could hear the traffic and noise on the street ALL night. Even then we were still quite hot.

Perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. Well-equipped room, including a clothes steamer and a hairdryer with a diffuser.

Renovation works nearby, but the windows are well insulated and noise is only noticeable when they’re open. No bathrobes provided. A city tax of €6 per person per night is not included in the price.
