Best hotel in my trip from 22 days. Big room with balcony. They let us checkin early when the room ready. Very clean and center location. 3-4 stops subway from every interesting point, train station, Sagrada familia, Barcelona cathedral and walking distance to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Not 1 star hotel but 4 star.

I loved every bit of my stay here which was an overnight one. I arrived after 01h00 from the airport and as advised checked in at the reception of sister establishment, Hotel Actual. At both check-in and check-out I was greeted warmly by the lovely reception staff. My room boasted a sleek modern look, very tastefully decorated in shades of smart, elegant grey and black including comfortable chair in the latest boucle fabric suggesting a recent renovation. I was on the 7th floor with large windows overlooking the elegant surrounding streets. I heard very little noise from the street and neighbouring rooms and had a great night's sleep. Just to mention the extensive room service menu, fully functioning mini fridge with complimentary water and well-stocked tea and coffee caddy, all of which also impressed me. I highly recommend this hotel.

I honestly can't understand why this is a 1 star hotel as it's far nicer than many 3 star hotels I've stayed in! The room and bathroom were modern and clean, the bed was comfy, and despite being on a main street, my room was very quiet. The hotel is right beside the Diagonal metro station, a minute's walk to Gaudi's amazing 'La Pedrera', and 10 minutes walk to the airport train. I felt very safe and secure as a solo traveller and would definitely stay again.

I had a small but nice room with a terrace with a city view. The terrace was not accessible, but it gave a nice feeling to the room anyway. The facilities were great for a 1-star hotel: a kettle, a selection of teas, complimentary water, toiletries, and a strong hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and the design of the interior was nice.

It was tricky to check-in at night. I was arriving at 3am and got in touch with the hotel in advance to ensure the reception would be open. I was assured it would be. When I arrived the reception was dark and empty. I was lucky to meet a guest of the hotel, who informed me that I had to go to another hotel next door and they would check me in. I don't know how I was supposed to understand I had to go to another hotel with a different name to check in.

I can't recommend the hotel enough. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They let us leave our luggage after checking out since our flight was in the evening. The room was clean and every day we had clean sheets and the towels were changed if needed. The bed and pillows were comfy. The AC was working which after a day in heat is crucial for a good rest. The Wi-Fi was also good.

The only thing we didn't like is that our stay was over.

Everything ! Excelent staff ,clean room, very comfortable bed and the view from our 6th floor to the Paseig de Gracia below. Fantasic location just next to Pedrera and opposite the Metro. Express breakfast a good value too!

Hotel location is excellent. Hotel facilities are more than adequate for tourist visitors. Staff were extremely helpful in all matters we communicated on, and offered advise when requested. Value for money is also very good we felt, and I had stayed at the hotel in the past when visiting for business.

Breakfast could be better, but to be honest we wanted to eat breakfast out anyway. Room can get quite hot, and air conditioning was strong so we found ourselves with it either on or off overnight.

Location was great and central, the hotel was easy to find with public transport just outside the door. The room was small but was manageable, clean and tidy. Bathroom was nice and good size. Was a little hesitant on booking a 1 star hotel but it was booked a little last minute and couldn’t find much else that was reasonably priced but we were pleasantly surprised!

The bed was on the firmer side and the walls are a little thin as could hear the neighbours during the night…

Hotel excellent. I’ve stayed there previously and will stay again. Location fantastic, rooms as expected, staff very helpful and close to everything we needed and wanted to access.

Breakfast at the hotel’s neighbouring business could have been better, but we simply walked along the road to a nearby El Fornet (coffee and pastry shop/franchise) which are located all over the city, and are great value and good quality. Hotel staff gave us recommendation.

Great hotel in a good location. Rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly.

Wifi was not great in the room.
