Outstanding views - comfortable rooms with balcony / terrace - public areas superb - bar meals are very good value for money and restaurant is smart and not overly expensive - staff are just great, multilingual, friendly and professional. Our third visit and our favourite Parador by far !!

Our bathroom - Room 121 - was getting a little tired - toilet seat was loose, the chrome surround of the toilet flush buttons was very loose and the toilet roll holder virtually coming away from the wall - the whole bathroom just needs a make-over and they should get rid of the ridiculous sinks at the same time.

The location is beautiful and tranquil. The pool area is very nice, with beautiful views. It is a good location if you want to stay mostly at the hotel, as a one-way taxi to Begur is €22 flat-fee (€44 euros return) and the beach nearby is very crowded in July/ August, with sun loungers costing €60 for the day for two people, and they are usually booked up by noon. But it is lovely if you want to stay around the hotel/ pool. The staff at reception were kind, helpful and obliging. They let us stay around the pool after we checked out, as our flight wasn’t until 23:00. They also let us use the showers in the spa before we left for the airport.

The menu (particularly the bar menu by the pool) could have a little more variety, and it would be nice to be able to get an ice-cream while by the pool on a hot day. The hotel breakfast (€24 each) was overpriced for what was on offer (some egg with chorizo or bacon) and a buffet of cereals, yoghurt, fruit and pastries.

The hotel has the best location with amazing views from all the rooms. The common spaces are very luxurious and modern. The rooms are big with great balcony. Amazing chairs design across the hotel and rooms witch I personally like in a hotel. We enjoyed a sunny whether in January and I think this is a perfect stay off-season on this region. Reception staff is friendly and helpful.

I think that the cleaning can be done in a more consistent way. Because of an issue with our first room, we have it changed and we could see differences in small details. Maybe liquid soap can also be made available. No kettle was provided and no complementary water. Breakfast has good options but in average. We’ve had better in Spain. We would chose it again off season, for the views.

Location is amazing - 5 min walk to the most beautiful beach. The pool is amazing and the rooms are really nice and modern with beautiful views.

The food at the hotel isn't great - and there isn't much food nearby other than 2-3 restaurants at the beach which are all quite pricey. The breakfast is very average and expensive - 24 euro. Unfortunately there are no other breakfast options nearby so you have no choice but to pay this. Restaurant don't speak much english which was challenging.

Exceptional location, exceptional modern architecture, outside and inside. Mid century modern. The luxury of large spaces: lounges, dining rooms, lobbies… Prints on the walls signed by THE Catalan artists, Dali, Tapies, Miro…. Rooms are on par with the modern architecture of the building . Great friendly staff, very hard working (Montserrat and Carlotta among others) Yet a bit old fashioned, in a good way…. The meals schedule, the super quiet pool. We really enjoyed it.

Evening meal was beautiful, but why such bright lights? Atmosphere in the dining room would have been improved enormously with some dimming. You need a car to stay here. There is a bus to Begur during the day that is infrequent but very reliable, but no way to get there at night. Also, the surrounding countryside is beautiful - TAKE A CAR!

We first visited this hotel 35 years ago and it has got better and better. There is a huge sense of space and it is so stylishly furnished. We have stayed in top hotels all over the world but this is one of our favourites. The views are exceptional, pool brilliant and restaurant is stand out with very professional and attentive staff: professionals, not kids that you find in so many others!

It would be a welcome addition to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Location is stunning just above Aiguablava beach, easy driving distance to all the local spots. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Amazing views from all the balconies. Pool was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic, we ordered a hot dish one day that never arrived. Parking can be a bit tight so we struggled a little bit with being pregnant and having to park down the hill. But very small things in the grand scheme of everything!

Views from the room were spectacular. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. Breakfast (included) was excellent. The dining room was available for dinner (also very good) even when we gave up on finding a restaurant in nearby towns without a reservation. There is good access to beach recreation for people with normal mobility.

The outdoor pool was chilly even in August.

The location is superb. Whichever side your room is, you'd have either bay view or sea view. I loved the hotel interior and common areas. You feel relaxed the moment you step into this hotel. There is a very convenient free parking in front of the hotel for those travelling by car. Breakfast was lovely, and there is a lovely snack bar with a terrace.

It would be nice to have a tea kettle, a bathrobe and slippers in the room.
