We travelled from Gibraltar and booked RIWO from the car park when we got there. There was some initial confusion as we wanted to book Holiday Village and within a short space of time that was organised for us. Holiday Village was excellent, very clean and modern. The room itself had a big balcony, kitchen, separate bedroom and it was perfect for us being a family of 4 with an 8 year old and 1 year old. The pool was great, staff were friendly and good fun, the food was really good and choice was excellent for the all inclusive deal. There wasn't much that was not to like and I would highly recommend for families.

The lifts are very slow, sometimes waiting 10 minutes to go down 1 floor. With a buggy there was no choice but the lifts but that was the only downside and nothing that overall spoilt the experience.

Overall, we really enjoyed our vacation and the hotel. The location was great, and the pool was nice, although unfortunately it wasn’t heated — which was a pity, as April turned out to be very cold. There are a few things we didn’t like. Firstly, all the water coolers had options for warm or hot water, but none of them were actually working. Secondly, we were on a half-board plan, and during dinner, the head of the dining room constantly reminded us that drinks were not included and had to be paid for. He repeatedly told the waiters to come to our table every five minutes to ask what we wanted to order. This felt very intrusive and made us uncomfortable — especially since I was on holiday with my children and the atmosphere became tense. Thirdly, we only found out in the last days of our stay that we were allowed to visit the Beach Club (which is available to all guests of the Holiday World hotel chain). Nobody informed us about this at check-in, and we didn’t receive any brochures or information. We also learned on the very last day that there was a free shuttle bus to the water park — something that would have been amazing for the kids, but sadly we missed out on it. It was really disappointing to find out about all this at the end of our stay.

The staff are fabulous with no exception super friendly and accommodating the pools are amazing everything about the hotel is great value it’s lovely bright and feels special my kids loved every minute the rooms are clean and the balcony is amazing- thank you so much for having us .

The beds are very hard but that was rectified very quickly If you have a kitchen and plan to cook it’s extremely poorly equipped no pans kettle toaster or even cutlery! Please don’t throw the food away, in this day and age it’s so wasteful give it to your wonderful staff they work so hard

The staff were helpful. The room was specious and clean.

The location is a bit far away from the center. Having a car is highly recommended. We rented a car and the hotel provides a free car parking so for us was an ok experience but we saw other guests with kids struggling to go to places easily. We wanted to upgrade our booking and tried several times to communicate with customer service via email, chat and telephone but no response at all. We mentioned our complains in person when we checked in but the response that we got was that they are usually busy to respond to customers requests. Which was a bit disappointing considering how big the resort is. I hope they will try to be a bit better with their online communication with customers.

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were so friendly. Great food at the buffet too. The staff couldn't do enough to help and they were lovely to my grandson. A super hotel. We went out and about visiting local attractions as the weather wasn't great when we were there and needed taxis to get around so taxis or car hire is recommended to see other parts. The bedrooms were so large and very clean. The balcony was great too.

Staff amazing as always especially the reception. Super helpful and friendly. Always loungers available around the pool even at 11am, not queues like other hotels.

Food could be a little bit more varied but enough choice most evenings Beach club nice but would be great if they added a few slides besides the ring tabogon. My child was 10 this trip so was too young to go in the zone, maybe extend hours so 10-12 year olds could go in earlier.

The staff were very friendly, everyone from the gatemen/ women, the transfer drivers, the receptionists, the cleaners, chefs and most especially the waiters. They were all very lovely people. A special shout out to Miriam who attended to us throughout our stay. She was there at breakfast and dinner (which was our package) but she didn't look tired from the long shift and was always smiling. There was no client she couldn't relate with both children and adults; she made guests feel really welcome and comfortable. Likewise others staff members, they made the atmosphere feel calm and relaxing which was what my family and I really needed. A very big THANK YOU to the team. Also, the food was great 👍, with slight changes to the menu on all the days we stayed there. I am usually not adventurous with food but on this occasion, I tried foods I will normally not eat and loved them!💗💖 The environment was also clean. I can go on and on but overall it was a lovely place to be. My kids didn't wants to leave and would like to visit again.

The only problem I had was the Internet as there was no network in our room. Also, the rooms could use some updating to match the outer court view which looks nice and had a modern feel to it.

Staff were exceptional and great facilities. Shuttle service and waterpark were outstanding.

Food was average but fine for a few days, not very hot from counter just cool especially breakfast. Room I had booked was specifically to have PlayStation. Image on hotel was with fortnite which was reason for booking here. The room we got only had PlayStation 3 which didn't support fortnite

Beach club was nice, food good, reception services were great

Entertainment was just poor. Good for a age range between 5 and 8, but its quite poor for adults amd teens. Aiden is the only entertainer who can make activities become fun to everyone. When Aiden is not around is just poor. Girls cant really be so lively. People at the pool bar were quite rude. Try talking to them in English even though you understand spanish and just listen their comments! Awful!

Amazing hotel especially for children probably one of the best I’ve ever been too, so many activities and children focused areas, multiple pools and the beach club would definitely return

Beds were ridiculously uncomfortable like actual hard solid mattress but that’s my only complaint the hotel itself is amazing
