Only reason for 8 was the food was mediocre . Sweetcorn had obviously gone off. Would stay again But, Would not do dinner ever again.Breakfast ok.Terrible baked beans ,ok if you go fishing in the orange 'water' sauce, I suppose. Plenty of places in the centre to eat,Old town multiple choices. If you avoid the food especially dinner great place to stay,with beach in stepping distance. No local restaurants. Need a bus/car to get into town. Aldi supermarket not far.But 45 walk or easy bus ride. Otherwise hotel deserved a 9.5.

I liked most things, especially the Breakfast. The selection of foods was Amazing. I loved my Room, with a balcony able to see the Sunrising over the ocean, in the mornings. Also my Room was clean. I hope to come back again in the future.

I didn't like the shower and bath combination. It was usable, but awkward and messy.. A walk-in Shower would do the Job better. The location itself, with the Balcony view A+, but your about 30 mins from Malaga's Center, where all the Action is. No worries, right outside the hotel is a bus stop. No.5 will get you in and out of Malaga for E1.40 each way. I used my revolut card to pay.

Pool and Gym CLOSED -so my expectations unfulfilled Drinks -a double whisky 21 Euros!! -I refused the drink -maybe as I was paying cash -dont know but too expensive Parking 12 euros --too much

We had an amazing stay at Sol Guadalmar Hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a modern, spotless bathroom. The hotel’s facilities were excellent, and the location right by the sea offered stunning views from our spacious balcony. The restaurant served delicious food but there were no other restaurants around the hotel, making the experience even better. It’s very close to the airport as well. Highly recommended.

The hotel is nice with a beautiful view of the sea, mountains, and city, no other building stands in front. The hotel is located in a more private/isolated area with almost no other tourists and visitors, so it is quiet and relaxing. Rooms were cleaned every day, breakfast was fine, the swimming pool and aqua dance were enjoyable, staff was welcoming and positive. There were regular activities for guests and children.

The hotel is located far from everything, so you need to take a 30-minute bus (leaving every 30 min) or taxi (12-17 euros one way) to the city even for dinner or hanging out. There are just two restaurants to eat at outside the hotel and one supermarket to shop for necessary items; otherwise, there is no ice cream kiosk, and nothing happens in the area. It can be fine for some, but it requires extra time and costs to go somewhere. Unfortunately, the hotel provides no sunbeds although they are shown in the Booking pictures. Most rooms have two queen-size beds, but not one king-size bed.

The facilities were new and spacious. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when I lost my phone and they organized having it returned!

The location was good for a few nights stay but would but not much to do other than pool and walks on the beach. We got a bus into the city which was very easy from the hotel.

Breakfast was excellent! The buffet has a large variety of choices. Yogurt, hot meals, cold meals, fruits and vegetables... amazing. Dinner also exceeded my expectations. It was very good. There was always a choice of fresh fish prepared right in front of you! Wonderful sea view!

The location is good, the only thing for me was missing there was almost no space for the walk. The seafront walk is about 300 meters long. During the day you can walk toward the Birds Preserve Natural Park or Malaga. Better to come with a car :)

Very long check in process. 30 minutes with 2 people in frot of me!

The room was spacious and comfortable. Thank you to Daniel for booking me a disabled room which had added facilities to help me shower and move around the bathroom safely. The hotel was in a quiet location with a long promenade in front and the beach beyond. There was a pleasant garden to sit in or use a sun lounger. Just outside the hotel there was a bus stop with regular buses into Malaga; the buses were accessible and very cheap. We really enjoyed the breakfasts which had a wide variety of choice and set us up for the day!

We only went once to eat the evening buffet dinner and unfortunately we were very disappointed. My partner's "beef stew" was bland and used a cheap cut of meat, and my "fish stew" was inedible due to a strange tentacled being - it was some sort of squid which I would not have chosen if I had known beforehand!

This fine hotel is located not far from the Airport but still @ a very quiet part of the coastline with a small beach in front and great pools ( one covered/heated ) and garden around . Gym . Very good massage for about 40/60 Euro . Great room cleaning service . On the beach there is even a small place to have lunch or early dinner in case you don't have booked the half-board option , which we did and enjoyed a lot ! Lovely Restaurant and Reception staff . Two perfect elevators and even a machine for cheap water , coffee , sweets and sandwiches . There are very few shops in the surroundings though ! .... perfect cheap bus connection in front of the Hotel to Malaga ( right in the center , about 40 minutes ) and the Plaza Mayor shopping center ( 15 minutes ) near the Airport . To the airport you better take a taxi with luggage !! ... I loved everything but one question is still in my mind : why does the room-cleaning always start at the same low number on the floor and not change every second day to the end of the row so that not always the same guests have an early cleaned room and the others only in the later afternoon ????
