The hotel was very nice with friendly and helpful staff. The choice of breakfast was good and the dining area was very nice. Hotel is in a great location, easy to catch buses.

Your photo of the hotel shows sunbeds on the beach directly in front of the hotel. There are no sunbeds in front of the hotel and there are none on that strip of beach. We asked reception about beach sunbeds and were told that they are nothing to do with the hotel, it's a council matter. Your photo of the hotel shows sunbeds outside the hotel, if there are no sunbeds perhaps someone from your company could check the sunbed policy and change the photo accordingly. We would not have booked if we'd known as we love the beach and couldn't use it. At the hotel we used their sunbeds but there aren't enough of them for the size of the hotel and on one day there was no availability at all.

This has been the ideal vacation for our wedding anniversary. Loved the beach location and nice spacious balcony. Pool area was nice as well as the sun deck. Checkin was quick and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff were brilliant. We could collect towels from reception for the pool. Taxis were booked quickly.

I would have liked checkin to provide more info about activities, facilities and upgrades. I would have liked the option to upgrade but I was told ‘that is the room you’ve paid for’. The room was fine but I would have gladly paid the difference for a full sea view - although our side view was absolutely fine and provided a nice view down the promenade.

Fabulous location of sea view rooms. Once you look out of the balcony you have the view of the longest gold sandy beach ever with the view of the sunset. It is literally out of this world. Also you can put your feet into the cool warm water and have a long walk and of course if you're brave go for a swim. It is very safe. The hotel is located within walking distance to all sorts of restaurants and about a 40 minute walk to the old town. Highly recommend this hotel.

None other than how tight the underground car park is.

I booked a room with a 'side sea view' which technically it was if you stood at the far right of the window or went out on the balcony. Then you had a slight sea view. All of the other rooms in the hotel would have had a better view as our room was at the very rear of the hotel. The rooms were pleasant and quite modern, the staff were friendly and efficient. I would recommend it.

This was my second stay. Stayed about 13 years ago but nothing has changed. The position and view of the hotel can't be beat. So nice to wake up to the sound of waves and a view of the beautiful beach. Room spacious and bed really comfortable. The rooms are a bit dated compared to new hotels but have a certain charm. Didn't want to leave!

I love this place but it's so frustrating that such little things which would make it perfect have not been changed. The rooms should have a coffee machine or at least a kettle and tea and coffee as a 4* hotel. They need to make more of the bar area so that it is more welcoming as a place you would drink at night/ when you returned from being out.

We loved everything about our stay. Stunning views from our very roomy, comfortable fifth floor bedroom. Breakfast was delicious and staff were helpful and professional. Special thank you to Elisabeth who made our time there even more special.

There was nothing not to like. Some of the reviews I read before booking made me indecisive - we wondered about the Parador - but so happy we chose Hotel Playa Victoria.

Excellent location for break beside the sea - lift to the gorgeous beach straight from the hotel. Pool was a sun trap and was perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and rooms were kept super clean. Really great stay.

Carpark was really tight and dark. A cheaper rate for a longer stay would be appreciated.

We loved the location which was on the beach. Our room was sea facing and had a decent sized balcony.

It is a large modern hotel in the “new town” so if you’re looking for a boutique experience in the old town….this isn’t it. However, we loved the location and the walk into the old town along the beach was fabulous. It worked very well for us. We will be back!

We had a room with a balcony that faced the ocean. Could not have been better. The staff was very very nice.

We would have preferred a queen bed instead of two doubles, but I was not asked about this at check-in. Looked like plenty of rooms were available. The pool was cool and not heated (spoiled Americans). The bath area was pretty small. Furniture was pretty old and outdated rooms could use some updated paint colors, but we liked the European look of the room overall. Our neighbor smoked in his room and the smoke permeated our room on the first day. He moved out after that.
