Staff were all very friendly and courteous. Very good entry for disabled access. Bar prices were surprisingly reasonable. Breakfast choice excellent. Very smooth check in and check out.. walk in shower was nice and water pressure excellent

The half board option we went for was a little disappointing, as the set menu offered didn't change at all . I think if you stayed at the hotel for more than a couple of nights, it would be challenging to have a varied evening meal. My main disappointment were the mattresses on both beds in our room.. First impression I had was that they were both firm mattresses., however after a very short time of laying on the beds, one could feel the springs through the mattresses. I have hip replacements, and unfortunately I ended up with bruised hips after three nights.

Restaurant was great, whether for eating outside, inside or just getting a coffee to go. Staff was very friendly, in restaurant, front-desk and cleaning. Room & bathroom were cleaned daily. Solid walls - little noise from neighbors., and A/C worked fine. Good location, just a few blocks from train and bus stations. Also right across the street from from the Punic Walls Museum and pleasant 10-min walk down to the town center, passing several key sites along the way, including the Roman Theater.

The single bed was a little narrow and could have been softer. The room itself was also a bit small, but still quite manageable, with desk for laptop & TV.

I would like recommend this hotel. The hotel’s location is excellent, in a short walkable distance to the city’s major highlights and local restaurants. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Food was fresh and of good variety including cold and hot dishes. Members of the staff were hospitable and happy to help with everything we asked for. The hotel is reasonably priced.

The hotel’s interior a bit old-fashioned, but no problem as it has everything a traveller may need.

The hotel is located just a stone throw away from the train and bus stations, at the beginning of the historic center with some stunning attractions. Each of them can be reached easily by walking. The (partly historic) building is nicely renovated, with comfortable modern rooms and bath rooms. The balconet opens towards a nice view. The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast in the superb restaurant can be either buffet or à la carte from a good variety.

Quite a classy hotel but friendly. I had a good room with a small balcony - good for sitting on at the end of the day. The hotel is well positioned for exploring the historic sites - the Punic Wall museum is over the road! I had half board. There were plenty of choices of local dishes and it was very good value, including a drink and coffee.

There was only one chair (it was a double room) which was hard after a while!

Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was adequate. Location was very good, and great views from room. Very central location. Excellent staff.

Very little information displayed regarding menus or tourist guides within hotel and internet connection difficult to set up. Safe was old fashioned with a large key rather than a keypad, and was at additional charge

I randomly decided to stop in Cartagena & chose to stay here which turned out to be the perfect location for walking around the neighborhood. I had a late arrival & unfortunately all the hotel parking was booked but Francisco was very helpful & offered me an alternative parking solution for the same cost. My first room was musty smelling & had some mold issues. I asked for a change because I already had a migraine from dental work the day prior & Francisco gave me an even better room looking out across at the local sites. I checked out in the morning, had my luggage stored while I walked around to see the city, before returning to leave in the afternoon. It’s a decent stay for the cost. They also have a restaurant in the hotel where I had a fabulous dinner. I would stay here again for the way I was treated & the cost was economical! I checked out prior to leaving so I could store my luggage & explore the city. When I returned I got my car from the parking garage & returned the key pass to them.

Be aware that there are often people who smoke despite the hotel having signs about No Smoking & a hotel fine of €150. It’s not their fault & it’s unfortunate some people have this addiction. Note that there are photos of a larger room that I was first given but the smaller one was my reassigned room.

Great overnight off-season stay whilst exploring the historic sites of Cartagena. The hotel has obviously recently been refurbished and everything is in tip top condition. We found the bed too hard, but that is a purely subjective opinion and so doesn't detract from our 10 grading. Excellent breakfast as well, you can have cooked or a wide range of continental buffet items and decent coffee!

The room was spacious and well furnished. The food was fine with very generous portions. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The position of the hotel was convenient for visiting the promenade and facilities.

The need for better supply of items provided in the bathroom. No parking facilities nearby.The room was not warm enough forme.

We always enjoy our visits to the Hotel Los Habaneros. It has style, elegance and is in such a fantastic central location. The staff are so very friendly and welcoming and cannot be more helpful. We have enjoyed several amazing meals in the restaurant and during this last visit had a great buffet breakfast, a real “steal”😘at €10 per person which was incredible for the amount of food and drinks on offer!!!!!!! We didn’t need to eat again until supper time. I just think 🤔 that this wonderful hotel should be elevated in it’s ratings.
