Clean & Convenient Stay

Even after pre-check in online, we were told that we had to come to reception and check in, rather than going directly to the parking garage around the block. Being on motorcycles, this is very inconvenient as we have to unload our valuables. I then checked in with a guy who gave me a very cool reception and was then told that he had to see the passport of my colleague?? Back out I go (with my bag) to get him to come with his passport and presented it… and the receptionist didn’t even look at it. We then had to mount our bikes again and drive around the one way system to the garage. Totally unnecessary inconvenience at the end of a long day. We would therefore not recommend the hotel and would use an alternative next time.

Room was huge compared to most European hotels. Bed and pillows comfy, nice shower with plenty of hot water. Within 5 minutes walk to the old town.

No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Had to go from the 5th floor to the lobby to use a machine for coffee or hot water. Not something I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Don't waste your money on breakfast at the hotel. All the "warm items" like eggs were cold every day. Lots of bread choices cold meats and cheeses etc. Typical of a breakfast buffet in Europe. Just disappointed in the hot foods section.

We picked this hotel because it is next door to El Corte Ingles. That was good, but otherwise it was not such a good location for shops, restaurants, etc. We arrived in Leon after a long drive and were hungry, but the restaurant was only opening at 8.30pm. Had to venture out in pouring rain to find something to eat. Room was very comfortable.

Would have liked to see a lounge with beverages and at least a limited food menu, but there was nothing. Very disappointing.

Location close to city center, 10 minutes on foot. Spotless clean, very good breakfast. Free coffee and water during the day. Quiet area in the night. El Corte Ingles over the street, for shoppers... I will definitely choose again, if come back to Leon.

Parking was not available, despite request in advance, however we were able to park just in front of hotel, on free public area ( due to weekend).

Very quiet. Lovely staff and a very nice buffet breakfast. Breakfast hours were very good. My room was very large and clean and had everything I needed. A very comfortable stay!

About a 15-20 minute walk to the cathedral. In the more modern part of town. Still plenty to do in that area but good to make sure you are prepared.

- clean and comfortable bedroom and bathroom - great shower - a short walk from the main attractions

- no coffee/tea facilities in the room - lengthy check in, requiring too many personal details from every guest - the common area didn't have any clean mugs in the evening and the staff couldn't find a solution

Loved this hotel . The breakfast and supper was excellent . Lighting in the bathroom was soft or bright . Beautiful room. 2 Pillows soft and firm , use to your liking. Staff is very professional and kind . A beautiful property close to the Cathedral beside a 6 floor mall . Loved our stay !

Excellent location close to shopping and old town. Huge comfortable bed .Excellent shower.Staff were friendly and helpful with local restaurants. Parking was secure

Couldn't dry towels,which weren't charged during two day stay .Room faced shopping area so was a bit noisy in the afternoons and early evening

Great hotel, all that you need for a city break. Only 10 minutes walk to the old town and just across the road from a huge department store. We where lucky enough to get free parking just outside the hotel as is was the weekend.

We have stayed here before, and will do again. We appreciate the great location to the old town, comfy rooms and safe parking. This Silken hotel has got it right with regard to group bookings - even though I booked three rooms for us and friends, we all paid individually for our rooms. Silken Hotel Vitoria please take note! This is how it should be!

It would be nice to be able to book parking to take away having our fingers crossed on arrival.
