We had a brilliant 3 days at Hotel Villa Frigiliana. Lovely staff who welcomed us on arrival at 10pm. Really friendly and helpful. No bar available but very welcome cold beer and soft drinks in the mini bar fridge at 1 euro a bottle. Our room was spotless. Serviced every day. The view from our terrace was gorgeous. All the rooms will have wonderful views. Some have a covered terrace others are open and some rooms have a Juliet style balcony. Perfect location for exploring beautiful Frigliana. Lots of amazing restaurants around which makes up for the lack of restaurant in the hotel. The continental breakfast is excellent. Great selection and replenished frequently. We did not try the pool but it looked good and well maintained. Parking is free off street or 11 euros for 24 hours in the public underground car park across the road. The hotel in our opinion is great value for money and a perfect way to see the town.

To start, the hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is immaculate, felt like a luxury hotel for a great price. The room was beautiful with an outstanding view of the mountains and the ocean below in Nerja. Our concierge recommended places to visit in town, and later on in the evening got us some hot water for tea, even though that wasn't readily available. We rested very well and decided to purchase the breakfast at the hotel. This also did not disappoint, there was a huge buffet with everything one could want. We couldn't recommend this hotel more highly in every way! And the town is so charming and quaint. We loved it here!

There is a restaurant in the hotel which is only open for breakfast so no opportunity for an evening meal. The bar was never opened so after a day out it was not possible to come back to the hotel and have a quiet drink or take a drink back to the room whilst showering for the evening. This was a big downside for us. The continental breakfast was adequate if unimaginative. There were no eggs and the yoghurts were not chilled and had been sitting on the table throughout the breakfast session. There is no on site parking but there is a public car park opposite at 11 euros per night

The room was comfortable and very clean. The view was amazing looking over the plaza. A great central location. The breakfast offered plenty of choices and was constantly replenished. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Although we expected the pool to be small, we were disappointed that it was not cleaned to the standard we hoped for. There was debris and tissue paper floating meaning we did not get to benefit from this facility.

Large hotel with clean and comfortable, standard type of hotel room. Beds comfy, A/C good. Location in Frigiliana is perfect for exploring the lovely village. In the evenings it is usually easy to park on the road near the hotel or there is a large public car park opposite. The swimming pool is very small but a nice little area to relax in. The breakfast (8 euros) can be booked at the hotel and paid for on check out. It is a cold buffet but very well presented and a good choice of food. The reception staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

First night of honeymoon and we thought let’s keep it simple for one night. We are so glad we did - the hotel is right as you enter the village which is the perfect central spot parking is free up and down the hill however if there are no spots a private car park across the road from the hotel offers 24hr for €11. The staff were friendly and approachable. They were very kind and quick at getting us checked in and making sure everything was up to scratch. The surrounding area is stunning, we are so glad we stayed here instead of Nerja

Hotel Villa Frigiliana truly exceeded expectations, even during challenging circumstances. Despite the electricity outage in Spain this year, the staff remained incredibly helpful, ensuring guests felt comfortable and cared for. Their professionalism and kindness made all the difference. The breathtaking view of the countryside added to the charm, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop. A wonderful stay in a beautiful location—highly recommended!

Central location, clean room. Bit old fashioned but they cleaned and managed well. View was good from the room! Parking was ok there is paid parking in front of hotel but m a lot of free parking along the street down 2-4mins walk.

Nothing much. Small fridge and no coffee facilities But it is usual in old style local hotel i guess. Pool was a bit small but not many ppl were there so big enough for 6-10 people to chill.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful! Rooms and hotel kept very clean! Great Architecture and well decorated in public areas, Restaurant! Plenty choice for the continental breakfast! Comfortable beds with great air con! Pool and sunbathing area were great! Stunning views from our Balcony/Terrace!

Considering the summer conditions, it sounds somehow shocking that the client had to pay the mineral water from the minibar. Some possibility to make coffee would also be welcome... when temperatures decreased... The bathroom, rather narrow, moreover is not very practical, with a bath, toilets and sink struggling for the space... Breakfast was acceptable, but not more.
