Laura and the other girls at the front desk are amazing. They alone would be the reason you would stay at this hotel. They are so informative, friendly, nice and just make sure you have a great time. Laura was always accommodating for everything. She actually helped people with their laundry when it was outside to make sure that everything got dried, she walked around the entire hotel and showed us everything. The young lady who works in the breakfast area in the morning, with the two young daughters, I feel horrible. I can’t recall her name is awesome as well, and her personality and smile is always bright. You’ll be treated like you’re at a five star hotel and you’ll wish every hotel treated you the way they did. The hotel is one block from the main street, one block from the Camino route, the rooms are fantastic, the beds are great, the showers are excellent and the pool is really nice after a day walking on the Camino. They have bikes available, breakfast available and a really nice set up for if you get hungry at night on the honor system. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anybody. We will miss the entire staff, they were so awesome.

Terrific stay at this hotel which is right off the Camino. The room and bathroom were clean. Nice quality bathroom products - shower gel and lotion. The AC worked the way it should which was nice after spending the day on the Camino. We enjoyed soaking our feet after our walk in the foot pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Laura at the reception desk. She greeted us with a warm welcome, assisted with reading our RENFE ticket, provided us with a wonderful restaurant recommendation which we thoroughly enjoyed, suggested an evening activity and helped track down some rice after I got my phone wet. The train station is a less than 10 minute walk for anyone needing to take the train like us. This hotel was a little more than what we paid for other places on the Camino, but it was well worth the price for the amenities and top notch customer service from the staff.

Very clean and comfortable. Had a private room with a balcony. Laura went above and beyond to make my stay excellent, she even did my laundry. Also, there is a foot pool for pilgrims.

They over inflate the food options - very limited breakfast and food kiosk, so you’ll have to elsewhere for food. Also, overpriced for anything in Fromista. Reflexology offered was too soft and lacking in any knowledge of how to to do proper foot massage.

Sooooo peaceful and relaxing! As soon as we walked up, we were greeted and escorted to our wonderful room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Wonderful amenities, and an assortment of goodies in the communal dining area to choose from. The breakfast was a real treat for two Pilgrims hitting the road that morning. Everyone was so nice and the comfortable bedding and modern room and bath were beyond our expectations! Highly recommend!

Laura the receptionist gave us such a warm friendly welcome when we arrived soaking wet. She set up a drying rack to dry our shoes. The pellet stove was lighting, it was such a pleasure to come in from the rain to such a warm welcome. Good advice too on where to eat that evening

Food options. Evening food was prepared serve yourself if you wished. While it was good that there was some food, both the evening offering and the limited ( mostly bread based) breakfast offering was weak.

I've been traveling the Camino Frances for 20 days. I've stayed in some lovely places. Dona Mayor is my absolute favorite! A restful , relaxing spot...home away from home. Thank you 😊

The room and beds were very comfortable. I have many pain issues, especially at night. I craved the selection of a thinner softer pillow. I'm sure no one else would feel this way. I have unique concerns due to my 4 joint replacements and painful health issues.

I loved this hotel and wish I could have stayed there longer. It was clean, comfortable, and so lovely. I loved my little terrace and the little self serve kitchen. I also indulged in a much needed reflexology massage and highly recommend it. My breakfast of granola, bananas and milk wax also a welcome change from the normal Camino fare. I wish I was back there right now!

Friendly staff, great vibe, comfortable bed and an ice cold pool to soothe sore muscles after a day on the Camino.

The room had air conditioning, but all it did was blow hot air around the room. We did not sleep well because it was so hot in the room which had the afternoon sun beating in. Which is a shame, because otherwise it was a fantastic hotel and we would have had an amazing sleep. For 150 € per night, you expect the air conditioning to be working.

Best sleep I had on the Camino....fantastically comfy bed...and I didn't want to leave it!! The staff were lovely and the room was fabulous. I loved the pool as well (and extra towels were provided) to relax after a long day's walking. It was probably the most expensive accommodation I booked on the Camino - but well worth it, to be honest.

Very clean and comfortable with excellent customer service. The cold foot bath was a lovely welcome after a day of walking. The property is conveniently located, has wonderful options (including vegetarian) for food you can purchase and heat yourself, as well as offers massages. The foot reflexology massage was incredible and Laura at the front desk was very helpful.
