Excellent location, right next to a train station and near all the nice shops. Very spacious rooms, with lots of breathing room and a small kitchenette. Well maintained bathroom with a rainfall shower, nice amenities too. Lovely part of the city. Very generous breakfast times (7am to 11am weekdays, 8am to 12pm weekends) and extremely generous check-out policy (12pm!).

Breakfast itself was a bit of a let down - it was quite literally just ONE croissant or ONE slice of toast per person alongside some yoghurt with fruit. Some issues with door key frequently not working, though the staff did rectify - just frustrating it kept happening. Air conditioning/heating was a bit tricky to get working.

Room size is perfect , patio and location

Breakfast is really weak side of hotel. Only eggs and sausage every day and you should order even if breakfast is included in your room, I’m really disappointed about breakfast !

This hotel is located on an especially quiet street within Recoletas. It is near Retiro Park at roughly the northeast corner of El Centro, which contains most of the main tourist sites and promenades. Very pleasant stay. Room's soft-lighting option and kitchenette were handy, and there were grocery stores in the neighborhood. Some restaurants were nearby and a few interesting sites, but the area's is mainly the cafes by the Plaza de la Independencia. Many fine somewhat-old buildings nearby, in excellent state of repair.

The one downside of the location's poshness and quietness was that it lacked a bit of neighborhood feel. The bakeries and small stores, supported by foot traffic, were located to the west, across the nearby Paseo de Recoletas, and it was a bit of a walk to get there. Admittedly, though, even the "bakeries" there have evolved in quasi-cafes and health stores.

Good location, friendly service staff, mini kitchen and utensils, convenient hot water, strong water output, clean towels, the air conditioner can be cool, and the toothbrushes provided are moderately soft and hard. The location is in the fancy and safe area of town. There are many good restaurants surrounding the hotel. There is a bus stop directly from the city to the airport which is just a ten to fifteen-minute walk from the hotel. Please note that the water and coke in the refrigerator are free and will be replenished every day.

There was a problem with their check-in system, which resulted in our reserved room number being mistakenly occupied by the other guests. The hair dryer was hung on the wall, which was a little inconvenient. The kitchen did not provide dishwashing liquid or spatulas, so we had to ask the cleaning staff to clean it, but the staff didn't put things back in their place. Some supplies were missing from the service station, and there were no tea bags or hot water kettles. Although the air condition was very cool, once the air condition temperature control had an issue. Luckily the staff quickly resolved the AC problem in less than five minutes.

The hotel's location was absolutely perfect- situated in a beautiful neighborhood and close to everything. The room was spotless and cleanliness was clearly a top priority throughout the hotel. The staff was incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any needs. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

This was our first stay at this hotel. It certainly won't be the last one. It is located in a quiet street off Serrano St. It is a boutique hotel. It only has 43 rooms so it won't be an issue having big crowds in the property. Our room in the fourth floor was pleasant beyond our expectations. It is an actual apartment with a living room, terrace, big closets and a kitchen with a fridge. It is close to Puerta de Alcala and Retiro Park. It is a more upscale part of Madrid and it reflects on the atmosphere of the neighbourhood. Our bed was very comfortable. The breakfast selection is one of the best I ever had. The restaurant is in the main floor at the back in an area called Gingko Garden. All the staff was really helpful and assist us with all our inquiries. We want to make a special mention to Juan Carlos and Carlos. This is the place we want to stay in when we visit Madrid again in the future.

Perfect location, the hotel is located in a quiet street near Paseo de Recoletos, it’s close to restaurants, El Prado Museum and the Thyssen Gallery, National library, Barrio de Salamanca shopping, Retiro Park, etc. The staff is very professional and helpful.

We liked everything

Amenities in the room were the most amazing we've had in the 10 hotels we've stayed in the 28 days we stayed in Europe. The staff were also very responsive to our needs, not to mention of the proximity of hotel to a lot of shopping and food.

Breakfast option was just a bit lacking in variety to those we've had in other hotels.

The location was perfect. It was close to the place of my work and walking distance to the city center. There were also nice restaurants and cafés in the neighbourhood. The staff were extraordinary in kindness and professionalism. We did not have breakfast there but tried the hotel restaurant which we weren't impressed with. The room was much larger than we had expected which was great given one of us is on a wheelchair. There room even had a small kitchen and a cute sofa bed.

The room was supposedly wheelchair accessible. From a size and space perspective it was but it was impossible for an wheelchair user to transfer from wheelchair to shower-chair and back without help from an able bodied person. Hotels should assume that wheelchair users do travel alone and that they need to use all facilities independently. The quality of food at the restaurant was not so great. The staff were beyond amazing but the food was not that good.

Locality

We stayed there ten years ago, when it had a beautiful rear garden in which we sat in the evenings and had a drink. It was the reason we rebooked. Unfortunately it’s been sold off for a restaurant, which was very disappointing. The name ‘Jardín’ is therefore somewhat redundant.
