Location of the hotel was excellent able to walk to both the historical centre and the harbour/beach areas. Breakfast and service was excellent as was the service provided by the bar and reception. Room was comfy with adequate air conditioning, lovely service with bottles of water delivered daily and a platter of fruit and smoothies on the first and second night. There was an option to skip housekeeping and receive a voucher for a drink at the pool or bar.

The balcony was minuscule and barely fitted 2 chairs and a tiny table. Rooms at the back of the hotel are overlooking a pedestrian area which on occasion was noisy and disruptive both in the day and early hours of morning, not sure if this was from groups of people walking through or as a result of the homeless sleeping below. The pool area although lovely with attentive and helpful staff did have a limited amount of chairs and loungers.

Location was perfect for getting around the city. We booked a superior room with terrace which was modern, spacious, extremely clean & great outdoor space. Room looked brand new. Very large, comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely with good selection.

Outwith the hotels control but if you have view over the church sadly you will see & hear several homeless people sleeping sound the church entrance. The hotel offers a voucher scheme whereby if you choose to not have your room cleaned you receive a free drink. We chose to accept this for environmental reasons & also to benefit the cleaning staff who are great but hard worked. Not really a great incentive for customers as only offers one drink per room & choice of beer or glass of wine. You will also not get your bottled water each night if you choose to do this. Reception staff did not appear as friendly as other NH hotels.

Great location just a few steps from the old town, comfortable bed, spacious and well equiped bathroom (as well as the room), wonderful breakfast exceeding our expectations, always friendly and helpful hotel staff

chaotic service in the restaurant (dinner) and bar resulting in delays and errors, noise from the lift in the room (avoid rooms next to the lifts!)

It is a modern property equipped accordingly. We had everything we needed in our room plus more. The ablutions were of good quality and there was even separate shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower! The bar area was lovely as was reception. The breakfast was fabulous. All the staff were very warm and friendly, nothing too much trouble.

The hotel seems to be split into two buildings connected by a covered walkway. It was December, but this walkway was very cold. Going to and from the bar to the room or down to breakfast required extra speed and some warmer clothing! The walkway is very uninviting!

We had a junior suite on the 4th floor and it was really lovely. There were large windows in the living room and bedroom with views over the river and a church beside us. The suite was really spacious (two bathrooms) and was super clean. There was a plate of complementary fruit to welcome us and smoothies were delivered to our room on our second afternoon. The room was really well equipped with super attention to detail. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area is small but comfortable although if you get there late in the afternoon all the beds are in use.

There was a vague drain smell in one of the bathrooms but I feel this can be common in Spain!

Lovely modern hotel. All staff very friendly and efficient, great location, very comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and really fresh. Outside terrace was nice for a drink. A few minutes walk to train station, bars and restaurants. Roof top pool/terrace was small but very pleasant.

We had a balcony room at the rear of the hotel. Didn't really use it as below us was an area that was used by a lot of homeless people to meet and sleep (very sad) but problem in every city I suspect.

The details and extras were really special. The staff were lovely.

I thought that through the black out they could have provided a better option for food for guests and maybe better communication. A buffet of salads, cheeses, meats, fruits etc at a set price would have made it easier on clients and staff. A letter in room explaining the situation and what the hotel could and couldn’t provide would have also been helpful. But it did not upset our stay just feedback for possible future situations.

Great location. Very comfortable room. Huge choice for breakfast. Hotel is really clean and stylish. There was a problem with rooms booked which was an issue caused by using Booking.com. Alfonso on reception went out of his way to compensate as best possible. He is one of the friendliest and most helpful receptionists I have ever met. It was a pleasure to walk into hotel to his warm greeting. He went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of. It made all the difference when we were disappointed by the problem with original booking.

The location is perfect, very close to the city center and shopping mall, shops. Perfect place to explore Malaga city. Staff is super friendly, always greeting the customers at any moment, when you need anything, they send someone to bring to the room. The breakfast has lots of choices, lots of teas (not tea bags) to choose. The bed, shower were very good. They always bring water and chocolates to the room in the afternoon, very nice gestures. There are bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom. They have eye for details.
