The hotel is great.The location is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, although a bit small, had everything you would need and was very clean. The breakfast was good and always fully stocked. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend it. Our flight wasn't until later in the day, and so they stored our luggage for free while we spent another day exploring Malaga City. Great value for money .

The location was excellent - close to the city centre, metro and train station. Very clean and cosy rooms with standard facilities like in all Ibis hotels around the world.

The lack of hairdryer as well as electric kettle in the room.

Only needed the room for one night after a late flight but it was perfect for us. About 5 mins walk from the train station from the airport. Pleasant staff on the desk. Make sure you go to the Ibis Budget (blue logo) and not the Ibis (red logo) like we did! Compact room, with very small shower but for a budget hotel, exactly what you pay for. Looked to be a pleasant cafe/breakfast room on the ground floor, although we left without breakfast. Clean comfortable beds and nice towels.

A kettle would have been nice (we have had that at other Ibis Budget Hotels) but not a deal breaker!

Excellent location, 5 mins walk from attractions, 10 min walk to the port. Very clean with a fantastic reception team. Things to note there is no bathroom. The shower and sink are in the room, and the toilet is just a toilet in a little cubical but this is still a great little budget hotel for a couple of nights stay. Plenty of taxis at the airport average of 25 euros to get to the hotel. Breakfast was continental but plenty for everyone, however you may have to wait for a seat. We went in December and there was no air-conditioning so the rooms were stuffy. If your a woman of a certain age pack a little fan.

No air-conditioning as its the winter. The temperatures in Malaga in December is like summers day in England. The English would appreciate the option of air-conditioning to make the stay more comfortable. The noise at the rear of the property at night with bins being emptied etc, but this is beyond the hotels control.

The room was as expected - basic but all I needed for my short stay. The separation of the shower, toilet and basin is a bit quirky but works ok with the size and layout of the room. In a period of hot weather I was glad of an aircon system that worked well. Breakfast again was basic but OK. The hotel was well located for access to public transport and attractions on my city break being close to the Mian station, Metro station and links to the airport.

Some minor noise from adjacent rooms - plumbing and door closures.

Excellent, walkable location from the renfe train station and old town. Good choices for breakfast bearing in mind it is a budget hotel. Comfortable bed, good bed linen, shower gel/shampoo and enough towels provided. The room was spotless. Friendly staff. Space under the double bed for suitcases. Hangers for clothes and a few hooks. Perfectly adequate for a no frills hotel, I was a solo female traveller and it felt perfectly safe, would use again. Great value over all.

On a warm night I don't think the air con would work well.

Firstly, the staff deserve a great deal of praise; they are charming, professional and efficient. They helped us to sort a small problem with a minimum of fuss and no expense, so win-win. The location is good; we tend to walk everywhere and it's an excellent base for exploring Malaga. It is a shortish walk from the train and bus stations and the airport bus stops nearby, just outside el Corte Ingles. The rooms were compact (we stayed before and after a trip to Cadiz) but everything we wanted was there; we could hire a hairdryer or iron for 10 Euros deposit. All perfectly clean and the bed was very comfy. It was an affordable option for us for a couple of nights and worked out just fine.

As I said previously, we stayed twice on this trip. Once, we had a view over the main street which was fine. The second room overlooked a wall and a back alley, which was a bit meh. Ask for a room overlooking the street if you want a bit more interest. I suppose a kettle and tea-making facilities would be nice because, being Brit, we drink pints of the stuff first thing. But at the price, we were happy to drink water till we got to a cafe. Look elsewhere if that bothers you.

This hotel is great for a budget hotel. Absolutely no frills but very clean, comfortable bed and very central location. Also parking was 12 euros for 24 hours which is fantastic value and the hotel can be accessed from the car park. Buffet breakfast was good and served from 6.30 until 12. Also Check out isn't until noon which made a great difference for us as our flight wasn't until the afternoon.

Love the compact, streamlined and easy to use Ibis furniture and room layout design. Everything is in a quick reach. Also, thank you for Ruben at the reception to allow me to practice my broken Spanish with him at 2am in the moring when he checked me in, haha.

The floor could have been a bit cleaner for an Ibis, but it was allright. Fussy people might complain for that, I will not, because everything else, toliet, bathroom, bedsheets were clean, and that is the most important.

Very good central location, clean bright accommodation. Rooms are small but have good use of space, plugs etc. We were only there to sleep the night while touring in Malaga and this room was perfect and very good value. The breakfast was an added surprise, plenty of choice and fresh food. Lots of tea/coffee/hot chocolate options. You could also bring take away tea/coffees with you. While I didn't use them, the luggage lockers in reception also looked a good idea.
