Truly unique location with great access to hikes, scenic views, and dark skies for astrophotography. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Pool and sauna are a plus.Restsurant had decent dinner.

Breakfast was lacking and overpriced. In paper it looks great, but execution was lacking. Given the location, there really aren't many nearby food options throughout the day. Air conditioning was okay, but struggled to keep up with the August heat. Small pool/area could get crowded and loud, and the saunas were off by default and could take 40+ minutes to heat up--only useful of you really plan ahead.

Comfy beds. Amazing views of the stars in the sky at night when the hotel switches all the lights off. Super clean. Very nice staff overall, most of them helpful and kind. The sauna & pool after our Teide hike were just great. The mashed potato and prawns at the restaurant were delicious. Also the most beautifully presented breakfast I’ve had in ages, with so many cute little bowls etc. The buses 348 & 342 stop right next to the hotel, so it’s really convenient if you don’t drive.

It’s not as fancy as it’s positioning itself. It shows in details: we couldn’t get a beer from the bar because it randomly closes during the day and no one explains it. The lady receptionist had no clue that the hotel offers dinner&room type of bookings, even though the contract you sign with them clearly mentions half-board and full-board. Checkout by 10am is really inconvenient, and you can’t use the pool or sauna after that because it requires a card. The pool is quite small, and the AC is so cold you can’t lie down indoors after swimming — and if you go out of the pool room, it’s incredibly windy. The acoustics in the room makes all sounds so loud - if there are kids in the pool, you might need some earplugs to relax.

We were impressed that this nice of a hotel is located in the middle of a remote national park. The room was very comfortable and is well furnished. The hotel restaurant is also yummy. You can do stargazing just in the hotel backyard because they turn off the hotel lights, which is nice because you don't have to drive down the mountain in the dark. Would highly recommend buying a large container of water because reception didn't recommend us drink the tap water there and it gets super dry in the park

Want an easier or cheaper option to get filtered water for drinking

Fabulous location with moonscape like landscape overlooking mountain summit. Spectacular breakfast & dining in evening. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Starlit nights amazing with no light pollution. Sauna turned on request to save energy. Great walks on doorstep. Wonderful clean air quality.

Became very crowded in vicinity outside most of day/evening. Swimming pool very limited in size and pool area seemed unheated & chilly but great views from pool. Rooms starting to look a bit tired and could do with makeover.

Really classy place up the top of a mountain with stunning views, nearby attractions and good facilities. Highest pool on the island.

It would have been good to have some clarity on the half board situation, what was included and what wasn't. As first timers with little Spanish language it was a bit more difficult than it needed to be. Sorted it out in the end. There was also an issue between booking.com and paradore systems and the translation of the half board for children not being included.

Beautiful place, very nice staff We really enjoyed the sauna and the pool with a stunning view

People working there are very nice, but obviously too busy so the service was quite poor. At the breakfast we had to find out ourselves that we could order some eggs and bacon, no-one had asked us anything, no information at the table. Before coming to the hotel I’ve sent a message that it was a birthday trip to my husband, hoping for some little greeting from the hotel, but there was none:) We had a half board, but the food at the dinner was let’s say strange, so I couldn’t finish mine.

the room was clean and comfortable although my husband found the bed a bit firm for him. The location was as expected, we went with intention of star gazing at night, the free car park was a bonus. The reception staff, bar and restaurant staff were all lovely and super efficient. We were disappointed that the TV had no English channels.

We felt that there was insufficient information for English guests, we did not know that there was a cooked breakfast on offer until we saw another couple with bacon, eggs and beans as we were leaving, we thought it was just the continental style on offer. There was no tea available, we had to ask for it. We felt that French and German guests were catered for better that the English, but this would not deter us from staying again, just a little bit more information and communication would be appreciated. We were looking forward to the log fire being lit but one of the staff explained that it was too windy which was a shame, but nobody can control the weather!

The location speaks for itself, right at the base of Pico del Teide, and at the heart of a significant number of the incredible volcano walking routes. Every direction you look is like a singularly unique oil painting every time. The views are staggering. Both the cafe for hotel guests and the restaurant are superb, and actually very good value for money. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, with a delightful wine pairing. Also, the coffee was remarkably good. The staff were polite and helpful (not just at reception, but the serving and cleaning staff also) When you stay at this hotel, you have access to both saunas AND a swimming pool (with a perfect view of Teide while you swim) free of charge. The pool is perfectly heated, and the facilities were clean, fully functional, and ideal. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay while hiking and photographing Pico del Teide, this is the obvious and ideal choice.

Nothing at all, just wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is impossible to describe. One of the best places I ever slept. We got a good value as we only reserved accomodation. The pool (open until 19:00) helped us refresh after a long day hiking under the sun. The staff was extremely nice and helpful all the time.

The food and water at the Parador are too expensive. Only 0.5L water to buy at the cafeteria. I would recommend load oneself with food and water before getting there, or accept paying a bit more for it.

Excellent location, views, bar seating with fireplace, food.

Having to book a time for breakfast. Would have liked to see how we felt when we woke up. Not required in other hotels and when I questioned it we were just told we had to book. Information on booking site/hotel site and in room tv not always accurate or available eg said there was a gym and also star gazing session for guests but we saw none. Spa was nice but really just sauna and changing facilities basic and very small.
