breakfast is not very abundant, but good, several standard choices every morning and a changing "national" menu. The environment is beautiful and tidy. Very spacious and modern apartments. The pool with lovely view over the sea.

The waterproof mattress cover a thick blanket on the bed causes some discomfort. 500 euro deposit on check in and more than 2 weeks after we are back at home it is NOT RETURNED YET.

Suite, balcony, breakfast, pools all excellent, cannot be faulted. It is on its own, well away from the big resort towns but only 5 minutes by taxi to a small town (San Juan) which has a few nice restaurants. While it is a large complex on a steep hill, shuttle buses (shout out to Thomas) are available. Staff are polite and professional.

There is a big construction site next to the complex. Very noisy pile driving going on. The noise cannot really be heard at the pools or the lower levels but up at top of the complex at level 13 & 14 it is very noisy so cannot sit out on balcony from 8.30am to 5pm. We got a move from Block 13 down to Block 5 half way through our stay which helped a lot, so thanks to the staff for that.

Friendly, helpful reception, apartment was ready when we arrived early. Got upgraded to a two bed very near reception which was a bonus. The Abama estate including the Ritz Carlton hotel is huge, with possibly hundreds of properties and more under construction. Although there are courtesy shuttles available, there’s nowhere really to walk so in our opinion, a car is a must. The nearest village with any shops or facilities was about 10 minutes by car. Golf course was very busy, slow and pricey even at residents discounted rates. One of the most difficult courses we’ve played anywhere. Breakfast buffet was OK, and dinner in the evenings in the two restaurants attached to the apartments was fine with good, helpful service. Three swimming pools and an underground car park were most welcome. Room cleaning was available if you asked for it, not a daily automatic service. Nice big bed, and good shower. Overall an OK experience.

Was surprised to have to pay a 500 euro deposit on check in. They actually charged our credit card, and it has taken all week since we left to get it returned. Not sure how they would justify keeping any of it, but surely 150 euros would be plenty. Although it was billed as a self catering property, the unit we had was rather lacking in adequate cooking utensils. Perhaps most visitors eat out?

Beautiful, peaceful location and great facilities. Never had to fight for a place to relax by the pool in the whole 2 weeks, which is a pet peeve of mine for sure. Staff are friendly, super helpful and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. Big shout out to Tana at the pool bar, who was a huge source of inspiration for trips and food choices!

We arrived at the end of July and were relatively “alone” but as August started there were definitely more people running about in the apartment above and having very early breakfasts on their balconies, but the soundproofing is pretty decent so it didn’t bother us too much.

The staff, from receptionists, cleaners, to maintenance crew are very friendly and accommodating. The apartment and garden are very spacious, nicely furnished, and comfortable, and are an excellent option for our young family. The breakfast buffet and daily changing cooked options are nice, while the dinner restaurants (Melvin, Tagara, and Atlantico) are top class - fine dining every night, with extremely friendly and accommodating service. We loved our half board.

The pool we regularly used was in a poor condition, with floor peeling off in multiple areas - it's hard to understand how a premium option like Las Terrazas could let it stay in such a shape. Some parts of the apartment are starting to show their age - in particular the couch and armchairs are in desperate need of replacement, and the light switches, despite being modern, are hard to use and finicky.

1. Very clean, the cleaning team does an excellent job. 2. Very beautiful, especially the golf courses. 3. The property has everything you need, so there’s no need to leave the premises.

1. The breakfasts are just terrible. The portions are small and unimpressive in taste, and the portion sizes vary on different days. Sometimes you’re served an omelet made from one egg, and other times from two or three, while being told that’s how the portion is supposed to look. Cheese, meat, and, most importantly, vegetable platters are never enough. By the second half of breakfast, the buffet looks empty. 2. Despite the apartments being very clean, they are already quite old, and some furniture shows signs of damage. 3. There is a shuttle service on the property that takes guests to different locations, but it seems insufficient, as you sometimes have to wait for 20 minutes. 4. The reception desk is not open 24/7.

Las Terrazas is one of the most beautiful and comfortable resorts you would fine in Tenerife. Apartments are spacious and well decorated. We stayed in two bedroom apartment, which we found perfect for a family. There were lots of others families with children and our son had no problems finding some friends. Kids camp is an amazing version of kids club, where they had a lot of different activities. He did not want to leave that place. There are three swimming pools. All have great views and are quiet. Perfect for relaxation. There is a complimentary transfer service within the resort and we used it to go to the beach (also a very nice place with sand and very kids friendly). Golf fields are immaculate if you like to play. There is parking if you rent a car. Restaurants are nice. Best to book for around 7pm as they get busy. Breakfast was great. The only reason I did not score 10/10 is the reception. Took a long time to check in and very hard to get hold of them by phone. They are friendly and professional, but just not enough of them. I would highly recommend this hotel otherwise and would love to come back next year.

Beautiful complex on a golf course with views across to La Gomera. Quiet and peaceful away from the crowds. Our one bed apartment was very spacious and just a short walk away from a heated infinity pool. The apartment was fully serviced every day so we had the advantages of hotel level service but had the added freedom self catering can offer. The site is large so the free shuttle service was useful. Breakfast was served in the golf club restaurant and was excellent. Staff polite and helpful.

We loved the site. However, it is on a quieter part of the island and if you want to get out and about, car hire recommended. The restaurants on site are quite pricey. Playa SanJuan has some cheaper options but it is about 10 minutes by car or taxi.

Stayed in one of their three bedroom villas (which we were kindly upgraded to from a two bedroom upon arrival). Absolutely beautiful property with four different seating areas and spectacular views. My husband and I came here for a short 4 day break to escape the cold British weather, neither of us are golfers but we appreciated the beautiful greens and manicured grass, and wonderful surroundings. Yes there was some building work going on at the far side of the site constructing their luxury villas, but we hardly noticed it and it certainly didn’t impact on our stay once. We ate in each of the three onsite restaurants over the three nights and our favourite was actually the Tagara at the top of the hill. Food was exquisite and service impeccable. Breakfasts were also lovely and the staff always smiley and nice, although avoid 10-11 am as chaotic with families and kids and a longer wait for breakfast, drinks machines running out of water and milk and staff running around like headless chickens. 8.30am -9.30 was much more civilised. All pools were also lovely and clean, and all the staff super helpful. We loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to return again.
