The rooms were a great size and very comfortable. The staff were amazing - they went out of their way to correct things we were unhappy about. The train driver went above and beyond to find my sons goggles that he lost at the pool. They were delivered to our room the same day. Mirador is an amazing restaurant with great food and amazing sunsets. We went 3 times during our stay. Breakfast is one of the best i have ever experienced. Super clean and chefs worked really hard. Omelette lady was awesome.

Main pool was closed every morning for painting, we were not told about this in advance or at check-in. It was an unwelcome surprise on our first morning! Painting also went on longer than we were told. Also weren’t told golf course was closed which my husband was disappointed about. Food at Txoko restaurant was average. We went twice and on both occasions the steak was very average. They also tried to charge us €57 for 3 side salads as we added cucumber, tomato and avocado to a standard green salad! No where to buy the children ice lollies around the pool which is ridiculous for a family hotel in summer. Kids club was €25 per child which meant it was very quiet- there were only 2 other children in there on one visit. Sadly, my boys found it boring and didnt want to go back.

We spent 3nights here,didn’t even think about leaving for a second. The whole resort was very comfortable, relaxing. All staffs were so friendly and helpful. Nice restaurants around, gym and beautiful beach make your stay more interesting. I was satisfied with the money I spent here. I would like to come back here again.

Sound proof of the door. During the day time I can clearly hear the loudness outside my room door along the corridor. Especially when the man from my next door who really enjoyed speaking on the phone extremely loud in the corridor. I could literally hear all his business conversations, which I was not interested at all.

Cool design to the hotel with beautiful landscaping, patios and pools. Spacious room, large balcony with sea view. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Lots of storage space. Fabulous breakfast buffet. Swimming pools were uncrowded and heated to just the right temperature.

The restaurants within the hotel were expensive and the quality uneven. Most of the waiters were unprofessional and obtrusive, except at the Mirador. The breakfast staff were very pleasant and efficient. The hotel is in an isolated location, too far to drive for outside restaurants. Long waits for service or information at the front desk. Did not seem to have enough staff.

Loved our holiday at Ritz Carlton . The room was very large with a lovely feel , I think recently renovated. Every one of the staff were excellent, especially Victor in the lobby bar , what a gentleman! The hotel had beautiful grounds and gardens you felt like you were in paradise. The breakfast was lovely and the restaurants for evening meals were exceptional. We tried them all apart from the Japanese only because we don’t like Japanese, I’m sure they were lovely too . The restaurants are expensive but I’d say it’s a dining experience not just the food , the staff in all the restaurants were again exceptional. The beach was beautiful and had a lovely beach bar . We have just arrived back home and already thinking of booking for next year we had a great holiday . Also if you’re a golfer the Abama golf course is amazing. I’ve played golf all over the world and this was up there with the best.

We were a little disappointed with house keeping. One they only cleaned the room 4 times during our 7 night stay and also the times they came to clean, they came to clean at 8-30 am when we were still sleeping and 6-30 pm when we were getting ready to go out . Also you get given one medium size bottle of water a day and we ran out so I went to reception to get another bottle and they said you’ve had your allowance for the day so I had to pay 18 euros for room service to bring 2 bottles of water, disappointing for a 5 star hotel

The property is beautifully maintained and very striking and dramatic. The range of facilities are excellent and the landscaped gardens absolutely beautiful to behold. We stayed in the villa section so breakfast and tapas and drinks are included in the afternoon. The beach is beautiful and clean and the beach club served wonderful barbecue in the afternoon. The staff were extremely polite and attentive.

 the relatively minor point, but the ins are some ice machines in the Villa section, would save a lot of time .

This was our second stay at the R-C as we love the styling and position of the hotel, the room (level 6) was super with great views from the balcony. Apart from poor communications at check in which meant that we did not get into our room until 5.30, the staff are very attentive and friendly.

Maybe due to the time of year - April, there were a lot of flies around which were annoying, in Sept this was not the case. Also as more senior people we try to avoid hotels with lots of families with children, we misjudged the fact that this was the second week of the UK Easter holidays therefore many children there. This is more about our timing than the fault of the hotel

Everything was to a high standard and well laid out. Good attention to detail and very considerate logistics, e.g. the train to the beach, valet parking, etc. The breakfast was of high quality and well arranged, the team clearly made an effort to make everyone feel welcome and went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday.

Smoking should not be allowed on the beach. Even though smokers are a minority, it’s very unpleasant for the majority of people. As it’s not legal anymore since 2021, staff should be empowered to enforce this local law.

Restaurants are all high quality but bc this creates a problem as they is very little snack areas other than the one on ground floor. It’s an expensive place to eat and drink.so more mid priced offering would help.

We had an exceptional stay at The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Our room was immaculate - clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and convenience. We really enjoyed the hotel's fantastic amenities. The pools were beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing, the gym had everything we needed for a good workout, and the restaurants offered a delicious variety of meals. One of the highlights for us was the beach - just a short walk from the hotel, it was the perfect place to unwind. What truly stood out was the outstanding service; every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Breakfast each morning was excellent with plenty of options, and we appreciated the calm, comfortable atmosphere that allowed us to fully relax. Thank you to everyone at The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama for making our stay so enjoyable. We're already looking forward to coming back!

Everything.Staff helpful and friendly and Santiago was very helpful making Sure everything was perfect not only At breakfast but all aspects of the hotel.
