We loved our stay at the Aparthotel Fontanellos! It is located right on the beach and the facilities are beautiful. We had a penthouse suite and really enjoyed spending time on the rooftop terrace overlooking the beach. The hotel is very close to the airport (10 minutes) and you can easily access Palma's Old Town by bus (20 minutes). The buffet breakfast was delicious and offered so many options. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent breakfast and dinner, beachfront, 10 minutes to Palma by car, specious room and balcony, helpful and kind staff, cafes and restaurants along the beach.

Uncomfortable sofa for our son. We had to close the extension of it and use the sofa itself which was better. Sauna and hammam could have been free, it was 10euro pp.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic location on beach front with stunning sea views ! Lovely staff , would highly recommend! We hope to come back soon !

Breakfast: good options ranging from fresh bread, scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. Overall great breakfast. Daily events: the hotel organised daily night events which we found super entertaining. Swimming pool: there are 2 outdoor pools, one small one for little kids and a bigger one, both were excellent to have on days when we didn’t feel like going to the beach Location: it is a beachside hotel, so the beach is less than 1 min away Comfort: The sofa bed and double beds were very comfortable AC: Working ACs in the living room and bedroom is always a positive thing Staff: I would like to give a special shoutout to Esther who was very accommodating and friendly during our stay.

Daily clean: We feel like the cleaning staff should have either mopped or swept the floor everyday to make sure there is no sand in the apartment. We had to sweep the floor on our own. Dirty plates & glasses: We found multiple plates and glasses with food residue/stains, they should be cleaned more thoroughly before being brought out for other people. Front desk staff with poor English: Being a 4 star hotel we were expecting everybody working the front desk to have decent English, but there was one person who we struggled to communicate our requests to. No AC in the gym: the gym is located in the basement where it is a bit hot, so it would be useful to have some AC running.

Beautiful beachfront hotel, close to many restaurants. The pool and beach are nice. We like sitting by the pool area and eating food from the pool bar. Reasonable prices in the hotel restaurants/bars. There was a show every night, including a Flamenco show. Room is nicely appointed though bedrooms were small. Living areas were nice and spacious.

Balcony was huge with a great view and had a hot tub, but the hot tub was not clean. The umbrella also had a lock so we couldn’t really stay in the balcony for too long without shade. Not too many tour offerings (e.g. city tours, etc.) and staff wasn’t knowledgeable about tours available other than the few they know.

Excellent location, amazing view I could raise 3 ladies from the hotel: Ester, who was at the reception. She was very chatty and smiley person. At the restaurant: an elderly lady, who was working at the breakfast and lunch as a hostess most of the time, however she was giving full energy and happiness to the guest. I was really “ sad” when she was off on the day. 🙂 At the bar, where is the pool too: brown straight hair young lady. She has given excellent service every single day during our staying at the hotel. Well done for all of the staff, however these 3 ladies were 5 stars for me! ❤️

Cleanness of the hotel rooms. Could give more amenities for the room as teas, coffee. Coffee machine was missed from the room, specially because we had balcony. Also ash tray could leave in the balcony without any request.

Nice hotel right on the beach. We were 3 adults and had booked an apartment which I would say was a good size for 3 people. There is a nice bedroom and then they added a sofa bed in the living room in addition to a sofa. It was a little tight in the kitchen area but worked fine. Decent amount of utensils in the kitchen. Cleaning of the room was offered every day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice size outdoor swimming pool (but I could imagine it is very full in the summer time - I travelled there at the end of September). They the also offer an indoor swimming pool. You have the option to add breakfast and dinner which is a buffet. The dinner buffet is not bad for 20 euros. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes drive from the airport (but you do not hear planes flying over) and is surrounded by many restaurants and bars, and about 15-20 min drive from Palma.

It is a nice hotel but I would not consider it a 4 star hotel - more like a nice 3 start hotel. It is quite expensive for what you get but it does seem to be the going rate for that area of Mallorca.

Wow wow wow! We were completely blown away with the style and elegance of this place. I’ll first start by saying the food was absolutely delicious and extravagant for the half board option. We had the best selection of food everyday and the chefs and staff were very friendly and very good. The reception desk can all speak at least 3 languages which impressed us. They were helping people fluently in German, then in English and then Spanish. They were very friendly and helpful. As we went to our room, the sea view just blew us away. We had a double bedroom by the entry and the kids slept on the very comfy sofa bed. They kitchenette was such a cherry on top. We could make food for lunch or keep some drinks and milk cold in the fridge. There were even enough pots and pans to make a whole family dinner if needed. The beach bar and restaurant by the pool had the best cocktails I’ve ever had. You could sit down to drink and dine or take a drink with you to the pool in a plastic cup. The best part was that they were open most evenings too to have a sundowner and relax after your amazing dinner. The location is absolutely perfect. Only 10mins and €15 from the airport. The most beautiful white sandy beach and best promenade to walk for miles on too. We fell in love with Palma and Aparthotel Fontanellas playa made sure of it.

No soap or dishwashing tablets in kitchenette. Air conditioning not turned on yet for the season. Hard to get air flow through bedroom.

The hotel was right next to the beach, which was beautiful, particularly for sunsets over the bay. The indoor pool meant we could go swimming even though it was February. Other good things included the very friendly staff and the direct and very cheap bus route to the city being near the hotel. Really fabulous!

We had an apartment which was fantastic but it would have been useful to have a few more utensils such as scissors or a chopping board. If the terrace bar had Soya or almond milk for coffee it would have been an added bonus but really it's a lovely to place to stay and these are very small things in comparison to the whole experience. Don't let any of this put you off!
