Clean and well-appointed room with wonderful sea view from the balcony. Very good breakfast selection - including made to order omelettes, fresh pineapple, good orange juice. Lovely to be able to sit outside on the terrace to eat breakfast in October. Small but well-looked after pool area. Excellent position metres from the sandy beach, with direct access from the pool area onto the promenade. Very helpful staff, great at giving suggestions for day trips, details of local buses, etc.. Bus stop a few minutes walk away.

The evening buffet was disappointing, although many people seemed to enjoy it, We found it bland and too British! The hotel is geared towards more mature guests and we found that we prefer a mix of ages, so this didn't suit us. We didn't realise just how much the area catered for British guests, so if you want Spanish charm this is probably not the right place to come.

The hotel was in a perfect location a few steps from the beach, which is very clean and well maintained. The hotel was extremely clean, linen changed every day and rooms very well cleaned. Lovely perfume in corridors. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet had everything one could wish for. . I didn't participate in the evening entertainment, but that's my choice. The pool area was immaculate, cleaned every day and plenty of sun loungers. I liked the tea and coffee in the room. The hotel was good value for money, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel didn't have much character, very bland decor. I am not a fan of buffet food in the evening,so I only ate in the hotel once . However, there was a huge choice of local restaurant alternatives which I enjoyed.

Kieth at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful as were all the other staff. The breakfast was fine. Our room was very clean and well organized with lots of places to store our belongings. We had a fabulous sea view. I didn’t know there would be nightly entertainment. The performers ranged in quality from poor to good. There was sufficient free parking not far from the hotel. If we return to Mallorca, I would definitely consider staying again at the Son Matias Beach Hotel.

Some of the entertainment was of poor quality. That wasn’t a big deal for us because we didn’t expect any entertainment. The soundproofing between the rooms wasn’t great.

the location is amazing, my 2nd visit to the hotel, visited also in march 2023. so many lovely places to eat close by, and beautiful beach.

we had a really bad noise coming from next door to our room. we recorded the noise. told reception, and they said they’d have maintenance look into it. the problem never got any better and there was no follow up. it wasn’t a problem in the day. but unfortunately the noise went on throughout the night when we were in bed, we were in room 108….

The staff were amazing. The room was spotless. Loved having Beach Towels supplied very thoughtful touch as were the supplies in the Fridge. Being a bit disabled a stool in the shower was great. On the flip side of the yellow sunbed warning stickers a great idea. Stops people putting towels down and going off for hours when others mainly younger couples couldn't get a sun bed. I would certainly recommend your hotel to our friends it's beautiful 😍 😎

Watching people running in like ants fighting for sun beds. We found it too cramped having the sun beds so close. We just popped in the shade for a coffee and came back to Yellow stickers on the sunbed when we could be seen sitting at the cafe. Some couples had a pod and a sunbed too which was a bit naughty.

Beachfront location, close to shops and restaurants. Easy access to bus to get to/from airport. Very nice buffet breakfast. Stunning view from our 9th floor balcony.

Pool area is small and rather soulless. We chose this hotel as it was Adults Only but my daughter (age 24) was probably a third of the age of any of the other guests - even I felt young!!

Excellent hotel for mature people, everyone is so friendly. The breakfast was a great start to the day, plenty of choice hot and cold choices with the food served hot and not tepid as with previous experiences. Very easy going, no fools around the pool and we felt we made the best choice of hotel.

Nothing about the hotel, the evening entertainment was exceptional, The Dreamettes, Son of Soul to name a couple were brilliant! But all acts were good, nothing was too much trouble (genuinely) for the staff and the staff are a credit to the hotel. We cannot think of anything that could better what you have.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few steps from the beach. The pool is fantastic, with plenty of sunbeds, some of which have natural shade. The breakfast was also great, and the rooms offered a wonderful sea view. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

The rooms lack good soundproofing, allowing noise from nearby rooms to be easily heard. The floors are tiled, so every chair movement can be heard nearby. Furthermore, we could listen to curtains moving in nearby rooms as if they were in our room.

Great staff, VERY clean. Great position.

Getting up early on holiday to get in the queue for the sun bed rush. Some people queued up from 7.30am when the pool area was not even open owe until 9.30. More beds needed so beds could then be allocated but room is clearly an issue to do this. Perhaps buy out the Grillhouse restaurant next door and make that into extra sun bed space or even give the option to people to use the beds on the beach free if they want to go there. It really spoilt what what as great hotel.

Lovely hotel right on Son Matias beach. All rooms have a fantastic sea view. Standard rooms are a little on the small side but decorated to a very high standard. We found the beds to be very comfortable. There is a wide range of options at breakfast. Can't comment on the evening meal as we were bed and breakfast only. There are dozens of restaurants in the area serving a variety of cuisines. We didn't stay in the hotel for the evening entertainment so can't comment on that either.

Although there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, for some reason not coffee was provided this year (though this has not been the case in prevous years).
