The staff were friendly and helpful, the food and staff in the restaurant was excellent and this made our stay here special .The room was a very good size very clean and suitable for our stay . We had a bottle of fizz left in our room alongside a little treat to eat which made for a very pleasant surprise. All in all this was a very nice stay close walking distance to the centre of the town and good value for money.

The room was a little basic and the mattress would have been better with a mattress topper. I booked two rooms for ourselves and our friends,however our friends were disturbed by maintenance work which unfortunately was directly above their room.A kettle in the room would have been nice .

Big room and bathroom. Good WiFi. Beds comfortable. Decent value. Location near the station. Great old building (although some of the decor is pretty old school too!) Fun new year's eve dinner (although it did continue noisily until 4h00!)

Lack of luggage storage, particularly given there is plenty of space for it. Strong incense style odour in the room - needed to regularly open the windows. Breakfast cheap but underwhelming - but plenty of cafes in town. An extra bedside socket would have been welcome.

The location is great—almost in the center. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but we had coffee only. The bed is comfortable. Overall, the stay was comfortable, nice, and easy. Last night, we found a bottle of Cava in our room, which was very nice. We thought it was a great show of excellent, higher customer service. Well done! and Thank you!

The front desk may be improved with further training. The front desk reflects the management and I found them a little bit unfriendly and slow. They can maybe smile at the customers. :)

Nice quiet spot away from the hurly burly of the ribera. Lovely veranda area to sit outside your room looking into the internal courtyard with orange trees and lots of birds Good buffet breakfast ( pay extra) with everything you could possibly want - yog, nuts seeds dates apricots cereals coffee machine eggs fried or scrambled a million diff breads and patisserie options melon kiwi fruit plums bananas

Coffee machine was a bit testing for those not familiar with such things but the other guests were helpful!!!

Pros: - A quiet and peaceful stay - Beautiful grounds, the courtyard is a lovely sight - Lovely welcome by staff/hotel. I will definitely repeat a stay here - Well located and close to train station and center - Air unit is modern and can allow for both heating and air conditioning

Cons: - The bathtub is very tall and hard to step into, also you have the possibility of the door not doing its job and allowing for some water spills after a shower - Curtains did their job at blocking light, but it would be nice if they were the blackout kind!

This was once again a perfect stay in one of this chains hotels. Always perfect, food was beautiful, rooms and hotel itself was full of old world charm, but still with the modern features. Staff was super friendly and helpful, Paco in the restaurant was so friendly. location was great walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Just a short taxi ride to major attractions in Cadiz. Parking on site was also a bonus.

A stunning place. Wonderful room with doors opening on to a veranda surrounding the central courtyard. Courtyard a great place to eat and drink. Excellent service throughout. Complementary bottle of wine on our last evening. Worth noting that if you want to visit Cadiz or Jerez, this would make a very good base, as the hotel is close to both the rail station and the ferry terminal; 30 minutes to Cadiz by ferry, 15 minutes to Jerez by train.

Showing a bit of wear in places. Some paintwork could do with a refresh, and the floor in our room was uneven. Constant piped music throughout the hotel became a bit wearisome.

Quirky hotel formerly a bodega and handy for town and railway station. Very handsome public areas and pleasant dining room and café. Prices for food and drink were incredibly reasonable.. The staff without exception were welcoming and friendly, Alfredo in particular. Our room was quiet overlooking the outside patio area. Will stay here on our next visit.

My only quibble would be the television. Brand new tv offering the facility to cast from one's phone plus a selection of Web sites such as YouTube. Problem was that it wasn't connected to the Internet so pretty much useless. However it took a lot of fiddling around to discover this. Only a limited amount of channels on display and many Spanish stations not available.

The building itself does a lot of the heavy lifting here as it is a delightful place where you could be happy just looking at the old architecture without worrying about the rest of the facilities! Excellent dinner in the restaurant with attentive and chatty staff.

On site parking is a challenge but nothing much can be dine about that as it is within the old building and constrained by the existing structure.

Dinner menu short of vegetables I am not a vegetarian but steak and veal cheeks served with tiny oblong of potato ….for example On whole staff lovely. We were shocked after pointing out that wine glass had a crack to have it snatched away and then the wine sloshed into our glasses without being offered a tasting
