The superior room was massive, with a large balcony. The room and bathroom were very tidy. We loved the view from the room (we were facing Empuriabrava and the canal). The outdoor pool was clean and the water was warm, although it could be a bit bigger for the number of guests. We did not use the indoor pool, so I cannot comment. The location is amazing, right by the beach and the pier. It is a significant walk to get to the town, but it is lovely walking along the beachfront. The hotel staff were very nice, keen to assist when needed. The reception staff spoke English fluently, and others tried their best, but we always managed to get the help or information that we wanted.

Our room was on the top floor, and it was really hot that week. AC worked, but it took a considerable amount of time to make a noticeable difference. Parking in front of the hotel was sometimes unavailable, especially on the weekends. However, we would then park on the road behind the hotel, and it was never an issue. The number of sunbeds and umbrellas could be more, as it can get very busy by the pool.

The size of the room was very good, the balcony with views over the garden and beach was ideal. The breakfast was excellent, so much choice, all fresh and regularly restocked, a chef on hand to cook omelettes etc. The evening meal offered a salad bar that was so fresh and varied, there was a good selection of hot food and deserts to please everyone. The hotel was very clean and the staff could not do enough for you. The grounds and pool were kept tidy, clean and maintained to a high standard.

There was nothing that would stop me booking again. Two suggestions for improvement would be updating the toilet areas in the lobby to add a disable toilet. Secondly, the buffet evening meal had excellent choice but the hot food was bland at times.

Amazing location, right next to the beach and local pier where you can take a boat trip. Full board had good selection of food. Our room felt nice and fresh (especially bathroom) and had balcony with sea view. Both, hotel and room were very clean and staff friendly and helpful. There are outdoor swimming pools and small indoor pool (need to be booked in advance) at the property. There is a promenade along the beach with restaurants and shops.

We would suggest coming to eat at the start of each meal time as restaurant gets very busy quickly and regularly runs out of certain food (and we were there in April, so I can only imagine it gets busier during summer). Place was extremely busy in general, considering it was only April. Often, there was considerable wait time for the lift (hotel has 3 of them). Drinks were not included in the full board (even non-alcoholic drinks or water) and had to be paid for separately, apart from breakfast that included free juice, tea and coffee. Hotel was meant to have SPA, but there were no treatments available in April. Most staff don't speak or speak very little English, it's mostly French and Spanish. But overall nothing that would stop us from booking again in the future.

large room, quiet, huge balcony on top floor with nice views, though no shade. half board options are totally fine for a couple of days. it varies at dinner time a little and the breakfast all the same. but enough to choose from and taste was good. nothing to complain and here and good value.

room was hot as aircon did not cool down at all, was more like a fan. requested a room with bathtub and baby cot which was confirned at checkin desk upon arrival. entering the room.... no bathtub and no baby cot provided. we stayed in the room and baby cot was brought later on after informing.

Large hotel towards the end of Roses boardwalk. Nice room, very clean, with air con. Lovely pool area that is handy as Roses beach often gets windy and whips up the sand in the afternoons. Very good selection of food in the dining area (we were full board) which was constantly monitored by chefs and topped up/kept fresh. The dining room staff were all very friendly. We're veggie and there was lots of choices/salads. Dog-friendly. Good value. Roses is lovely too.

The acoustics in the dining room made it an unpleasant place to linger. There is thankfully a smaller side room where you can at least hold a conversation (just) with your partner. Large Tour Operator groups made it extra rowdy. The evening entertainment also madly loud - I know the clientele is predominantly older but I'm sure they are not all deaf :) it would have been nice to have a drink in the bar but it was just too loud, no idea why - it's not a night club so I shouldn't have to shout to have a conversation.

Nice staff, perfect breakfast buffet, good location at the beach. Easy access to hotel via front gate at boulevard. Nice pool area.

The claiming of the pool beds by putting towels and then lots of beds great part of the day not used. Very bad habbit of guests!

Lovely seaiew room with a stunning view, comfortable bed and new walk-in shower. The food was plentiful and of excellent quality. Perfect location and friendly, professional staff. Looking to rebook and have only been home a few hours!

Can't fault it!

The staff throughout the hotel were very helpful. The restaurant was very good with a good selection of food on offer. The room and bathroom were very clean. We used the spa facilities and my husband had a massage, which was very good.

All meals were excellent. A great selection for everyone. And of course the hotel staff is at a high level! The hotel has a perfect location. Just a few steps and you are on the beach. The beach is sandy with gradual access to the sea

The only downside is the outdoor pool. Small for me. .

Location and pool area were amazing and we were lucky to get free carpark outside hotel.

Reception staff not as happy or welcoming as others places stayed in our 6 weeks. Got the impression English visitors in Roses is not common. Bed too hard for me so not a great sleep although husband loved it.
