Comfortable beds, clean, away from main area so not noisy at night time. Ok breakfast selection, continental style.

Double room only one mirror in the bathroom, which isn’t ideal for ladies sharing, large wardrobe that had mirrors outside in a previous stay but not this time. Charging was bad for more than one device. Coffee at breakfast was just not drinkable. No shop close by so walking 5-10 minutes with bottles of water may not suit everyone. Back gate entry exit but times of closing seem to vary greatly. Air con very poor Key cards continually not working had to be changed many times at reception who weren’t too happy if it was early morning!

The room was quite big and spotlessly clean where it was serviced every day, the breakfast, lunch and evening meal was good where there was plenty of choice for everyone. The carpark was very big and you could easily fit a Ranger Rover Sport in there and there was also high transit vans in the garage so no issues on parking. The outside pool was open but I never used it but there was a few people that used it over the Christmas. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We was the only English in the hotel when we was staying there but I would like to say a big thank you to RAVI who was working in the dinning room and she really looked after us throughout our stay.

The main pub in the hotel was closed and it would have been nice to have a quite drink without lots of noise from the pool tables. The outside pool bar was closed throughout Christmas as well. But the entertainment room bar is open. If you are thinking of going to Salou over the Christmas / New Year then all the shops and bars are closed down within Salou which is know to the English as the main town area. There are shops and Spanish bars open in what is known as the old town which is where the Spanish tend to live and shop. If you go to this hotel or Salou in the main season then it's a great area and all the bars within the hotel are open.

Excellent hotel near Port Aventura Park - it's only a 15-minute walk from the hotel to the park! It's also a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. There are shops and cafes nearby. The hotel has a small swimming pool, there were enough sun loungers. We only had breakfast, it was very tasty and varied. Breakfast changed daily. The rooms are clean, the staff helps with everything.

The main minus is the very bad Wi-Fi - it's slow and the registration was constantly getting lost. Nowadays, fast internet should be available everywhere

The staff were excellent, everyone was extremely friendly and lovely. The entertainment was superb, every night there was something different. The variety of food was again really really good, everything was fresh. The hotel is extremely clean everywhere and the grounds are well kept and beautiful. Location is great, short walk to all amenities and Llevant Beach. We rented bikes for one afternoon which was a great option to have right then and there. Dining room was spacious and bright. We would definitely return to Sol Costa Daurada in the future.

The thing we disliked most was the fact that you only get water, juice and coffee included with breakfast. For lunch and dinner you have to pay for these drinks. Would have preferred to have at least the water included in the package. The pillows were not the most comfortable.

Staff were very good all round, tony (bar manager) is as good as ive seen in spain, very helful. Rooms cleaned every day. We only had breakfast wich was good.

Its 15mins to beach. No shop, supermarket nearby. No bus stop outside. No table on balcony, been to loads of hotels in spain never seen this before. Found sidegate on property thats a quicker and better walk in to town, think this shud be pointed out when checking in

The room was quite big and very clean and the selection of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was ok as well with a good selection of meals and cakes The pool bar and the main bar was also good with a selection of beers, wines and spirits which was a reasonable price but the main bar should be open earlier instead of 8pm at night. The carpark is also very large and very secure at a reasonable price. The staff were nice and very friendly and helpful. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk to the train station and the adventure park and within a 15 to a 20 minute walk into the town centre of Salou or the old part of Salou where the there are local Spanish shops, the market and Spanish bars where the beer is only 2 euro for a bottle of Mahou beer.

The swimming pool area don't open until 9am and there's a lot of people waiting to get the sunbeds and once the doors open to gain access to the pool area there was over 30 plus people pushing, shoving and running down the steps to throw there towels onto the sunbeds and this is very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen.

This hotel has it all. Lovely, big pool with varying depths to suit all. Lots of space for sunbeds. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Busy hotel for families but doesn’t feel too crowded. Enjoyable evening entertainment. Well stocked bar. Ideal hotel for groups who wish to stay put and make use of al amenities. Huge selection of continental and cooked breakfast. Rooms are nice and cool with air con, which is definitely needed in the summer heat. Each room has a small fridge. Shampoo/shower gel dispenser in the bathroom. Floaties are allowed in the shallow end of the pool. Huge schedule of events daily from... sangria tasting, aqua aerobics, inflatable obstacle course, water polo, kids disco etc. Schedule is posted in the hotel lobby.

It would be nice to have a small table on the balcony. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from a shop, but there are vending machines in the hotel. There is always a queue for the lift. Music is always playing loudly through speakers at the pool, which we enjoyed, but some people may not.

The buffet breakfast and dinner is amazing, so many options and you get desserts with the dinner and you get coffee and juice with the buffet breakfast. The outside pool is big, the bed was very comfortable and the room wasn’t too cold or hot. The room was very clean. The hotel had lots of things to do like music most nights, quizzes, has an indoor pool and two jacuzzis. There was a games room too. Outside area was lovely at night time with nice lights and the pool was lit up. The staff are so lovely especially one woman who seems to organise the breakfast and dinner in the dining area.

The outside pool was freezing, you need to pay for plain water with dinner. The lift took a while to come up or down sometimes as there are no stairs to use only a lift it was being used a lot.

We chose the half board option and found it to be perfect for what we needed. The meals were of a high quality and varied every day. The mini club for the kids was excellent too. The pool was great too. It is a perfect option for visiting Port Aventura and is only a short walk to and from the park. The hotel was very clean and absolutely exceeded my expectations.

Rooms are simple but totally functional for our needs. The lift is a little slow but that wasn't a major issue for us.

great value for money: - very good restaurant (To my experience - better than an average 4* in Spain) - good location - 10min to Port Aventura, 10 min to beach, plenty of parking spaces around - nice pools (indoor, outdoor)

what can be improved: - we were beginning of May and outside pool/sea is still cold and there were a couple of rainy days. However, indoor pool opening hours are only from 17.00 to 20.00. So, around 18.00 the entire hotel was unsuccessfully trying to fit into swimming pool. :) Why not to extend the hours...?
