Fabulous views (from the rooms, the pools and certain parts of the dining room), comfortable rooms , wonderful pools (often with just 1 or 2 other swimmers). Spacious, modern design. Very quiet and calm.

The bathroom arrangement in the rooms lacks any privacy. You have to know your room mate very well ! Anyone with dietary requirements needs to be very cautious, the allergen labelling is very haphazard. The hotel is isolated, taxis are expensive and shuttle buses infrequent. You could happily spend a few days in the hotel without going out, but if you want to explore (La Gomera is a walkers delight) you need a car.

The food was good but it was very difficult to find hot plates to put hot food on ,so it went cold very quickly. Not many people like eating cold food!

what happened at breakfast also applied to the evening meal. COLD PLATES. Personally I like vegetables with my evening meal but I think it is fairly normal throughout Europe not to serve many vegetables with meat. We were disappointed not to be met by taxi or some sort of transport at the ferry terminal, especially having been phoned from the hotel after I had booked in on line. I was asked the details of the flight and the ferry including the arrival time. We were also disappointed not to receive any help from Reception to book a hire car. we were just given the information and told to do it ourselves. unfortunately were were unable to hire one.

A very nice hotel with stunning view over El Teide. It is very clean and modern. Very simple but stylish design, making it perfect for a calm stay. It a bit ff town, so you definitely need a rental car to be able to do any sightseeing in the island, but once you have it, the advantage is peace and quite in the area and beautiful view. Staff is very nice and helpful, but sometimes slightly overwhelmed (especially during breakfast when you may be waiting quite long for your coffee if there are many guests around). It is true that the hotel is at multiple levels and it sometimes takes quite some walking to get to different places, but in my opinion it allows to avoid the feeling of huge and overcrowded hotel, which I likes. The spa and a la carte restaurant are also very nice.

There could be a bit more staff at the breakfast, and pools could be slightly more heated. I have my doubts about the layout of the rooms - there is no separation between the barhroom and the room, which is kind of ok when you are travelling alone, but may be problematic for friends travelling together or even families.

Rooms are spacious and clean. The layout gives everyone an unobstructed view of the sea. The facilities were well maintained and there were plenty of places to have a drink or meal. The fine dining restaurant really did a nice job of making it with going to.

We went in January so it was low season and in some cases you noticed this. Sometimes staff were multitasking so you had to wait a littler for them to return. There were only 2 people at reception and there was often a line, despite them working quickly. I can’t imagine how they manage if the hotel is full. The food in the buffet was good, but much of it had stood under heating lamps for too long. I know we were in a slower time but the management of what they set out and when could be done better or differently, as the quality was good, and there seemed to be many cooks standing around - maybe cook less more often.

Spa was incredible. Everything is brand new. Staff that worked there are super accommodating and friendly. My facial was superb. Food was high quality. Loved the poolside bars and restaurants. Room very quiet and comfortable.

Breakfast felt a bit manic but I think going later was quieter and suited me better. They need more staff for serving tea etc. Atmosphere was a bit dull/uptight. Lots of entitled holiday makers complaining about the price of everything yet demanding instant service. Staff felt a bit on edge because of this.

The facilities and comfort are excellent. The hotel has a general air of calm. The food in the Milana buffet was very good with plenty of choice and tasty. We ate both breakfast and dinner there on both days and this was very good value. The staff were extremely helpful when we had difficulties with the tyre on our hire car, Daniel deserves a particular mention.

The location is quite remote and you need a car to get into San Sebastian, 10 mins away. We were not told that to get the discount for eating at the buffet on all nights had to be booked on arrival so we paid the full price for both nights. The cost of food at the pool bars is expensive and there is no alternative to the hotel food in the locale if you don't have your own transport.

This is a beautiful property with spacious rooms and great views. This might be the best hotel on the island with great facilities, beautiful pools, really good breakfast and dinner proposition. There is a big free parking so it is great to get there by rented car. There is also SPA pool and SPA facilities with massages.

The hotel has a very strict rules around checkout time, even if you have SPA they will not extend your room for 30 minutes, as extension costs 30 euro. So the staff wants to be really helpful and I had a great support from them but the hotel management is strict as concrete. Also there was a big number of mosquitos which was a surprise as I managed to pacify 14 of them.

Not sure if it fits La Gomera as it is quite large.. but our stay was superb. Staff was great, we got a corner suite and the pools are out of this world. We will return in April!

I would say the breakfast could be improved (do less but more quality) and please serve good coffee. Some might find the toilets weird as they might lack privacy. I also did not like the twin bed arrangement. It can get cold with the wind. So watch out in Jan/Feb ;) Fun fact: I am amazed why there are complains that the hotel is far out and that there are no taxis after 10 pm. What are you doing in San Sebastian anyway at this time of the day?? ;)

Beautiful 3 days in this lovely hotel. Especially loved the food which was excellent and the staff who were so friendly and helpful to this solo traveller.

My only criticism of an otherwise exceptional stay was the non stop barking and howling dogs! I stayed by the ocean because I wanted to sleep listening to the sea, but the noise of the dogs was intolerable. They sound like they are in a lot of distress and I would suggest that the owner should be reported to animal welfare services. But it is my only criticism of an otherwise excellent experience.

Amazing views and clean facilities given it recently opened.

spa access was not included in the room charge; which was a negative. All the treatments were sold out by the time we checked in for the duration of our 4 day stay. outdoor hot tub would have gone a long way; the pools were all quite cold in December (even though they say they are heated to 25 degrees). New Year’s Eve dinner was ok, we did not love the menu, but they were kind enough to switch us to the veggie option when we did not like the fish or pork.
