What a beautiful hotel! So well maintained and cared for. A real slice of traditional Spain. The room was perfect with a big bathroom and fantastic shower. The air-conditioning was amazing and welcomed. Everywhere you look, there are historical objects and artefacts contrasted with stunning modern art pieces. The sauna and pool were a lovely addition. Bea, on reception, was so informative and kind. She made fantastic recommendations for places to eat etc. Breakfast was great and in another stunning room. The hotel is in a perfect spot for exploring Seville. This was our favourite hotel out of the four we visited in Spain.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful during a difficult situation -- the Great Iberian Blackout. There was no power and no wifi. Our outgoing flight was cancelled, and we were able to stay two more nights as they had cancellations from guests who could not get there. Good breakfast offering. The property itself is charming, with courtyards and open air patios. This might be the most fun neighborhood for tourists. Many tabernas and cafes around the corner. Short walk to the cathedral and alcazar. Very convenient.

We made an exceedingly last minute booking when our flight home was cancelled, and we feel like we really lucked out Beautiful building with lovely interior courtyards and an amazing roof terrace The location is AMAZING; the immediate couple of streets around feel quiet, but then you’re right in the Old Town - walking distance to all the sights, and really close to some fab restaurants The reception staff were both incredibly helpful - and tolerant of me practicing my ropey Spanish Due to our late booking, we got an amazing price - but at full price it’s still very reasonable for the location and level of service

A couple more loungers on the roof terrace would be useful

I like everything in this hotel. Location is in a middle of all attraction. Nice breakfast. It is very beautiful hotel inside. It is very unusual interior.

The Reason why I put 9 of 10 because after check out we had very stressful situation. I asked guy at reception to book a taxi for us to go to the train station one hour in advance. He told me it is no problem. When it was time for us to leave hotel he told me taxi already on a way to hotel. It did not come on time and he said it is always a problem to book a taxi, but we booked taxi before from this hotel and it came during 5-10 minutes. He said it is no choice and we have to go to taxi stand to catch taxi over there. It would be no problem in regular situation, but it is not with five pieces of luggage. we did it eventually and he helped us with luggage for one block, but it was upsetting any way.

The location of the hotel could not have been better, it was very central to all the major attractions, including the Cathedral, Real Alcazar, cafes/restaurants and the plazas. It was also down a quiet street so you could get away after a busy day to rest without the noise. The staff were amazing, including house keeping staff. John at the Reception was an absolute star. The hotel is a boutique style so the rooms are old but maintained well. It was clean and had the old charm to it which we absolutely loved. The breakfast good & sufficient to start the day.

There is no room service or a restaurant in the hotel if you decide to stay in. But it is not a deal breaker as there are plenty of restaurants close by, less than 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel also has restaurant service you can call on and they will deliver to the room. We order this one night and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the presentation of the delivery.

This was the 2nd time we've stayed at Las Casas De El Arenal and we'll definately return again in future. The friendliness of the staff on arrival sets the scene and the wonderful service carries on from there. The hotel is very traditional for Seville, rooms very spacious and comfortable. Another bonus is the location being around 5 minutes walk in one direction to the Cathedral and the same distance to the river in the other direction.

Honestly cant think of anything negative to say about the hotel. I guess the only thing is, it isnt the cheapest. But you get what you pay for.

Super location on a quiet street - just around the corner from shops etc. and a short walk to the centre of the City. Hotel had such character - lots to look at, very 'Spanish' feel rather than holiday feel. Staff (except one of the breakfast waiters, who did not smile!) were all truly outstanding. Roof terrace fab - loved the small jacuzzi, loungers, plants etc. Loved the quirkiness of the hotel - sometimes quirky means difficult, but not in this case. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was happy to keep our cases in a locked room after check-out time .... so we could spend the afternoon and evening, before our flight home, having a lovely time in Seville. Absolutely loved it.

Everything was great. Only the breakfast could be improved with more variety. Every day it is the same including on Christmas day. Would be nice to offer 1 or 2 very typical specialities for discovery. Improve also the coffee machine. Strangely the fish offer smells strongly hence not too appetizing

Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you - bed was very comfy. Rooms were good size and bathroom enormous with both a bath and a shower.

Room was a little cold and there was nowhere inside in the hotel for a drink or to sit - all outside courtyard spaces as the bar area was being decorated. Perfect for summer months but not when it was cold outside

Beautiful old building. Staff very friendly and helpful. A real oasis of calm in a busy, noisy city. Lots of lovely quiet areas to sit and read at the end of the day. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.

Bed very hard and poor pillow support. Bathroom was poorly designed and the smell of drains ever present. The towel rail in the shower was placed to ensure the shower door could only partially open. The door lock to our room was known to be temperamental, which meant we had to ask for assistance on a few occasions during our 4 night stay.
