There is an Alcampo supermarket near the hotel There is also a good restaurant outside the hotel (just some meters away) and the menu is pretty good for 16€/person. The hotel was very good and the room was big and comfy. The breakfast was very good (eggs, spanish omelette, biscuits, yoghurts, bread, cereals,...) The hotel is near the cathedral (about 15min walking) and other touristic areas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even they allowed us to access the room one hour before. We were travelling with our kid and the staff was very attentive. They provided a welcome pack with some colours, etc to entertain him.

The need to pay 20€ for parking in the hotel parking because it is impossible to get a parking slot in the street. I believe people who stay in the hotel already book with that idea. Just to inform, the parking at the hotel is only possible for cars up to 1700kg as the parking is accessible through an elevator.

I was spending 3 days exploring Zaragoza and the surrounding area while travelling through Spain. I required a central location Hotel that offered good value for money and this Hotel ticked both boxes. A 10 minute stroll took you into the beautiful Old Town which comes alive at night. The rooms were modern and very spacious with ample storage for two people. The large bathroom had an over bath shower which was powerful and easily controllable. The Hotel also offered a bar area which served drinks and snacks through the day and early evening. I parked locally at the Bull Ring for 23 euros a day. The hotel offered underground parking for 20 euros a day as long as your car was below a certain weight.

The hotel although centrally located was situated in a neibourhood that had a Arabic presence with a few groups of young men assembling in the evening but at no time did I feel concerned for my safety.

The Hesperia Hotel is excellent maintained hotel in the heart of Zaragoza with Parkplace ability. Very clean and quiet so you can rest very well. Hotel staff is very profesional and always maximum on your disposal, especially the Reception Chef who solved our challenging situation with ease and total professional manners. This way we want to thank especcially our Chefe de reception for understanding our situation and made us posaible to enjoy in our MotoGP racing weekend, even the garage elevator was not functioning. Because of him we are surt we shall visit beautiful Hesperia Hotel again and as soon as possible.

Breakfast was good . The location was relatively near the Basilica de Nuestra Señore del Pilar (about an 11 minute walk). If you are into bullfights, the hotel is just across the Zaragoza's bullfight stadium. Hesperia is about a 2 minute walk from my favourite pub / bar which is el Royale. The parking required driving into an elevator which fits exactly one car . Vans and big SUV's will have a hard time fitting into the car lift I reckon . The staff spoke perfect English .

It could always be cheaper . Spain used to be good value for money but inflation has caught up . A few years ago you can get a caña ( a small glass of beer) in a pub for 2euros . Now it's almost 3 in bars. A good glass of Spanish red chilled wine would now cost you 3 euros ... a few years ago it was only 1.50 .

Room, bedding, pillows, bathroom all good. On site parking using a lift which is quite an experience. Perfectly safe if a bit pricey at 19€ a night but public car parks would have cost a bit more and not be as convenient for loading and unloading luggage. Very good breakfast with great choice of foods. Fridge in room comes with small complimentary water bottles (not minibar). Room well serviced both nights. Location - about 10 minutes walk to edge of city attractions means you need to be reasonably fit as there is a lot more walking involved in getting round the many things to see in the city. The hotels location actually helps in that the Aljaferia Palace is in walking distance in the other direction. Our room overlooked a busy street with many buses passing but the sound insulation was good so traffic noise was not a problem

No complaints. The hotel was ideal for our 3 night stay.

% There is no sound proof but it is not important for us , but I sometimes hear the noise in the public hallway % The parking is 19euros per day ( good price in the whole area ) but it comes with the Car Lifting which means the car cannot be exceed 1700 Kg . Or you can not park in thier parking . So I went to another parking (suggested by the reciption) which is 21euros per day , with 24 hours security guard . % The mini bar fridge is not functional and too small

Great hotel. Room was decent size, bed very comfortable. Refigerator was really good as temperature was 30 degrees+ Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Onsite parking available (albeit rather expensive). Great location on edge of Old Town so all tourist sites, restaurants etc. within easy walking distance. For the price it was excellent value. Staff very helpful.

Lack of coffee / tea making facilities. Very soft pillows - need something a bit firmer.

Everything, the hotel location was close to the centre, bus stop was just outside, you only need to take one bus from the train station to the hotel. Staff was friendly; the room didn't have a kettle (was not the end of the world) but the staff on night shift kindly offer me a cup with hot water for my tea :) Room was very clean, bed really comfort, bathroom also clean and spacious. Cleaning Staff also very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. There was also a little fridge in the room (which I was expecting) and Aircon which is a must during summer.

The room was large, the bed was large (actually - thanks to the attentiveness of the staff, as I wrote that we sleep with the baby and they gave us a room with a large bed)! Everything what is needed - was in the room. We didn't try the breakfast (were sleeping longer than it was served). The garage was also in the building of the hotel (a small one, and you had to go by a car elevator there), but it was comfortable to have it!

The location is central and easy to reach the center. But the street itself seems to be a "red lights" street, with dinner strange people in the night on it. But they do not touch the tourists passing by.

We asked for a very late check in due to long travel, we arrived at 1am and Hector was amazing! Seriously I can’t praise enough his very warm service and suggestions! We are a family of four and large dog, we stayed in two rooms allocated next to each other, rooms were clean, modern and very good priced! We also stayed for breakfast with very good selection and also reasonably priced £12 per person. We only stopped in Zaragoza for one night to get a good sleep on our way to Portugal and this hotel was a perfect choice! Also they take dogs of any size for €10 charge! Really pleased!
